If you want unique and truly delicious straight from Japan come to this store. They had the cutest cookies with cream and fruit but from Japan and not mandatory to refrigerate. They were delicious. The lady there is super nice and helped me pick an even better piece of produce than I did. Store is clean, and siesta looks good. The bogo is great! Take advantage of that. Oh and their chips from Asia can't be beat. Unique flavors my 96 year old mom loves! Without a doubt you must buy the green onion pancakes by geemate. They are better than restaurant quality. My husband never eats the ones at restaurants but really liked these. These can't be found everywhere either!

So I was so happy to find that they had quite a good variety. I was planning on making a thank you fruit box for my uncle myself, but the man running the store said he could put one together for me, and I saw a whole wall of decorative options. It took quite a bit of time, but he was meticulous, adding ribbons, stickers, tissue paper. It came out beautiful. I also got some lychee, and they said it was the juiciest ones they've had in the states! The store is kind of bare, but there are specialty candy to fill the space as well. Definitely would be back.

Red dragon fruits. Organic apples. Persimmons. Korean Muscat grapes. Kyoho grapes. All absolutely gorgeous! The price is not your typical Vons or Ralph's prices, as it should not be. If you're a fruit connosiuer, this is the place for you. If you trying to get a cheap deal for meh fruit, this isn't for you. They also have blue eggs and black truffle moon cake. I am so excited for this place and would love to come back. The worker is super friendly and explained everything to me. She let us try some samples of fruits and was overall so kind and sweet. I 100% recommend this place. Invest in your own health and stop buying fast food.

I always have a pleasant shopping experience at Whole Foods Pasadena. First, it's covered parking, and if you are lucky, when you drive down the ramp, and no one is behind you, you can back in to a spot on that first bay . I always take the stairs, because it's on brand to be health motivated here. 9 times out of 10 someone holds the door. Very polite clientele! There are items here I can't get anywhere else, or hard to find. I love the unsweetened Yerba Mate and Jasmine White tea. Most of the time my tea is out of stock at Bristol Farms. I miss the breakfasts that were made to order here ages ago. But with Amazon buying the store brand, some prices seem lower. Always browse the clearance section. I scored some Weleda body oil for a great price !

No one is around if…read moreyou need help on any of the isles, the pizza lady from today had the worst attitude and made a cheese pizza that had 5% cheese on it and half unbaked (who's hiring the pizza workers???) It went straight to the trash, and never will I buy pizza from here again. Another time, the pizza stand was completely empty and I saw numerous packaged pizza doughs that looked like they had been out and over proofing for wayy too long! It wasn't refrigerated, and when I asked what happened, they said the burner broke down. If that's the case , you need to refrigerate the dough or hire someone that cares enough to handle food properly there. The cashiers never smile, don't make eye contact, and never greet you. They all look miserable ALL THE TIME! One time a cashier filled up one of my bags with really heavy groceries then told me to put it in the cart. I tried to pick it up and almost got a hernia ,and so I told him it's too heavy and I can't pick it up, and he just ignored me. He didn't try to put it in the cart himself because even he couldn't (it was so heavy). He didn't have the common sense or decency to even try emptying some of it into another bag . He just stood there, said nothing. (I ended up doing that myself) I tried to cut some slack for these guys, and give them the benefit of the doubt, and I've never once been rude to anyone there (even when I felt I had every right) I still kept quiet. However, the consistency of the horrendous customer service skills is disgraceful and disgusting. Where are the managers? Who is on the hiring committee? Why aren't any of these people getting proper training? Where is quality control? It's sad that standards are so low at this location that you treat your long time loyal customers this bad. Truly a shame. If I was a health inspector, I'd be shutting down your pizza center first, then I'd fire every single cashier there and train proper human beings to work with human beings.

Well, it has been confirmed. They do have a variety of nuts and they are very very good. It's a quaint good size market not too big nor too small. They primarily sell Armenian and Lebanese products. Very clean and bright inside. Shelves were neatly stocked and organized. Quite impressed with its presentation and organization of the goods. Lady working the deli was super friendly and nice. Thank you Miss! Gentleman working the meat area and ladies working the registers were all pleasant. Amazing staff and service! Thank you. The upper floor (head up the ramp) has the meats, various snacks, and non-food items. The lower floor has the produce, deli, cold cuts, dry goods, and more. I missed getting a freshly made sandwich as it was an hour past the last time. I'll have to return to catch their sandwiches between 10 AM - 5 PM. I heard they are out of this world sandwiches. I did get to try their turkey slices though. They were moist, sweet, and delicious. I ended up getting 18 slices of each of the two flavors... smokedhouse and salsalito... I like the smokedhouse more. Yum! Perfect with a sunnyside egg on a bagel. I came here for nuts and left with a whole lot more of goodies. Got some nuts, turkey slices, smoked salmon, raw marinated pork ribs and pork chunks, and a few other items. I'll be sure to return to get my sandwich and whatever else that is good for me to try. Thank you Armen Market! Btw, free parking in the front and side of market.
