It was a retirement party for someone who worked 37 years for our company. They reluctantly agreed to a new cake - but only what was in the case and ready. The new cake was smaller and when I picked it up - it had chocolate frosting with chocolate writing. They made it right- but it seemed like a huge pain for the bakery. The pastry displays were full of delicious options and I was excited to see such a variety of seasonal (Halloween) goodies. So fun! I was drawn to the gargantuan sugar donut but was later a little disappointed to find it gooey in the middle. The flavor was ok, but I couldn't finish the unbaked treat. Perhaps a smaller version would have cooked fully throughout. I'd definitely return for the dinner rolls or to try that fruit tart I saw in the case. Maybe another time.

The cafe itself is spacious and clean, a great place to get work done. But as far as coffee goes, unfortunately I feel this place needs some improvement.

The biscotti had wonderful flavor and texture, while the vanilla with toffee was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The customer service was warm and welcoming, and the quality of the gelato was excellent. If you're in Park City and looking for a quick treat, Mack's Finest Gelato Works is definitely worth a visit.
