    What the hell is wrong with you people?…read more My mom was dealing with issues with her new fridge she got from this store. The fridge was condemned, and she needed a new one delivered under warranty. Something happened between Lew White and Frigidaire and Frigidaire ended up doing the delivery. While Frigidaire was there, the owner of Lew White's son, Harper, called my mom on the phone and started SCREAMING at her. She had no idea what was going on as she did not facilitate the delivery. It was so bad that the delivery guys from Frigidaire ended up calling their supervisor concerned with how loud he was screaming at my mother. She called Lew White, they said take the delivery, so she did. Then he called her and proceeded to scream at her for several minutes. Absolutely DISGUSTING. This is the VP of your company? You should be ashamed of yourselves talking to a woman like that. Harper, you're a little boy, not a man. Stop yelling at women.

I say " yes we . . ." and he cuts me off saying "you have to stand by the door", to which I respond "I will keep my distance". "No, you can't be breathing on other people." "I can't wear a mask." "Then you have to wait outside." Changed from waiting by the door to waiting outside. I asked "Why? Is that your business's policy?" He responded with "We don't want to sell you anything!" That is fine, I will not be buying anything from Lew White again. This is not because they have a mask requirement, but for the aggressive and derogatory treatment of a potential customer, a repeat customer.

    This place is terrible don't . I had them checked my GE washer February . Waited a month for them…read moreto install part . Turns out they put the wrong part in. They came back after week put in another part. Washer worked for 3 1/2 months broke again I tried for a week for them to answer the phone then another week for them to show up. They sent a guy flash a light on the machine and said the part is defaulted. And his office will call with the arrangements to replace it again . And so no one ever called to resolve the matter nor do they answer the phones .

We needed an assessment of our washing machine, due to a burning smell after the spin cycle. Technician gave us a window of 8 - 1, but arrived late at 2:30, without a courtesy call. He was at our home for a total of 5 minutes - no exaggeration. He opened the front door (it's a front loader), felt the inside of the drum and then proceeded to charge us for the service call to the tune of $175 telling us, (without even opening the machine in ANY other way), that we would need a $600+ "drum job." This is a SCAM, in my opinion. After he left, we ran the self-clean cycle on a whim (figured what do we have to lose) and now our machine has been running properly and efficiently ever since. This company literally banks on the fact that none of us know how to fix a washing machine and therefore will not question their quickie assessment. The next day, after thinking about it, we called to express (politely) our dismay, and the company gave us the run around as well as excuses. They were argumentative and defensive. They made NO EFFORT to make things right with us, their paying customers. In fact, they treated us horribly and we are out $175 for 5 minutes of NOTHING but the time it took to write the service call sales receipt. A doctor can't tell you that your leg is broken without an x-ray. A mechanic can't tell you what's wrong with your vehicle without starting it, or looking under the hood. Yet, we are supposed to fork over $600 to have our washer fixed without actually seeing the inside? The guy googled pictures of broken parts, and told us "this is what it probably looks like inside." What reputable appliance repair company does this?? Three conversations with the company later, their heels are dug in. Apparently they do not care about unsatisfied customers. They count on those who do not question them, and those who simply accept a 5 minute diagnosis without backup or ample explanation. They were not willing to offer any rectifying action, which is why I am warning others. BEWARE. This company should NOT be in business.

    Wish i could give zero stars…read more Purchased a very expensive range. It took 4 months to arrive (2 months later than original estimate). After paying extra for installation, the installers kinked my propane line and installed the range without a rear leg. It cost me an additional $200 to have a plumber come and fix the propane line. The leg is still MIA. The range is a lemon. It's brand new and thermostats for both ovens need to be replaced as well as the fan motor. The ovens are smaller than the floor model I was told was the exact same size and where I tested the size of my sheets/pans. The griddle doesn't heat evenly the burners are terrible. I have asked to have it replaced due to the malfunctions but keep getting the runaround from the Zemels salesman. He wants to repair and blames the manufacturer for not replacing but when i contacted the manufacturer, they tell me that is solely up to the store. I have ok'd the repair because i have been left no other choice. A brand new, high end appliance should not need replacement of three major components right out of the box. What does that say about the quality and longevity of the rest of the parts? I tried to shop local but am getting the worst customer service ever for my effort. Next time I'll stick with Home Depot or Lowe's. Certainly not worth my $6,000! It has been 7 months since I ordered this nightmare and still no resolution. Hopefully Zemels will do the right thing and take this piece of junk back and refund my money. Otherwise I'm going to have to take legal action and nobody wants that. Hoping to update this with a positive resolution.
