    2009 Cyber Gray Z06

Over the years, I've always loved Corvette's and have always dreamed of owning a nice one someday. Despite my countless hours of researching these cars through magazines, the Internet, and books (including my well-read Corvette Black Book), I was very intimidated at the process. To add to this, I'm extremely meticulous and I knew deep down that if the car wasn't just right, it would drive me crazy...but where would I turn to make these final Corvette-specific adjustments? I certainly would not bring it to just any shop in town. Well 8 weeks' ago, I ran across an absolutely gorgeous 2009 Z06 with everything I was looking for in a Corvette. After just 10 minutes on the phone with Nick Demos, I knew that buyavette.net (BAV) was the only place I would buy a Corvette from. This outfit knows their cars. They are completely up front. They patiently walk you through the evaluation and purchase process of the car with no pressure to pull the trigger. Add to that their fully-trained Corvette specific shop and their network of auto transporters that have shipped many of these expensive cars around the country and throughout the world, I felt that I could not go wrong. Needless to say, I purchased that 2009 Z06, and without any doubt in my mind, this was the best automobile decision I have ever made. Many thanks to Nick, Keith, and the entire BAV team for this incredible experience!! - Armand

$68k and 60 miles, this is what I am left with.

"Mr. Rush, My name is Carl Hughes, I live in North Central Pa and I bought the corvette referenced above in February; it was delivered on February 25th. This week, my wife played me the podcast you did with Vettes of Atlanta Magazine, I believe it was on March 28th. After listening to it I thought I would send you an email and tell you about my experience. When we received the car, I can't explain my excitement; the following weekend the weather was nice so I decided to take my wife out to dinner to celebrate. It was a great day, the round trip was a little over 60 miles; on the trip my wife made a comment about smelling gas, I told her the tune in the car was probably just a little rich. The next nice day was March 19th, I was going to surprise our grandson, pick him up and go for a ride as he absolutely loves corvettes; that didn't happen. When I went out and started the car, it ran for less than a minute and quit; when I tried to start it again, it would not start. There was a strong smell of gas and I noticed some dripping from under the car. When I opened the hood, I could see it was dripping from the air intake tube; when I loosened the clamp, gas mixed with oil went everywhere. When I checked the dry sump tank, it was also full of fuel. That night, March 19th, I was pretty devastated and sent Chris Bennett an email letting him know what had happened and also asked about the paperwork. He responded that same night, at 12:41 a.m., letting me know he was sorry and wouldn't be in on Monday; he told me to call and talk to Sammy. The next day, I called to speak to Sammy and he was not in; the gentleman I spoke with said the best way to get ahold of him was via email and provided me with the service email address. After the phone call, I sent Sammy an email (March 20th) copying Chris, asking him to give me a call; to this day I have never received a phone call or email from Sammy. I followed up with Chris letting him know I was unable to get in touch with Sammy, he told me he would be calling his GM that afternoon and would reach out afterwards. On March 23rd, I emailed Chris and told him I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from anyone. To also find out the paperwork for the car was still sitting on someone's desk only added to the disappointment. I don't remember the name of the gentleman I spoke with about the paperwork; he told me he was going to get a company, I believe in SC, to take care of it because they were better at dealing with Pennsylvania. Chris responded to my email, stating he was sorry I hadn't heard back from anyone and would be forwarding my email to his manager. When I hadn't heard back from anyone, I contacted Edelbrock to see if they might have any idea what could have caused the gas issue. They were absolutely amazing and told me it was likely the hpfp, made sense as there is no way that much fuel could get past the pistons. When I was able to get the pump taken off, it was immediately obvious it was the fuel pump; I sent a picture of this to Chris on March 23rd. Jack Stanford called me that day and we had a good conversation, he was going to look into getting a new lt4 hpfp. Later that day he called me back to let me know he wasn't having any luck finding a fuel pump in stock and sent me an article on checking clearances for hpfp's. I responded thanking him and asking him, if possible, I needed additional parts to get everything back together; I sent him the list of parts and a hpfp I had found that was compatible. We exchanged a few more emails and I believe a phone call the next day (March 24th); in the last email, he had a question on one of the fuel lines so I sent him my email correspondence with Edelbrock. After the 24th, I hadn't heard from anyone for a week so I sent an email to Jack on April 2nd asking for an update. When I didn't hear back by April 5th, I sent Chris and Jack an email asking for an update on the fuel pump and paperwork; I never got a response. Unbeknownst to me my son called Buyavette on April 6th and spoke with Chris, Chris informed him Jack was out of town and he would try to get ahold of him; unfortunately, he also overheard other conversations regarding my corvette. On April 11th I received an email from Jack informing me he had been unable to locate an LT1 or LT4 pump in stock, but had ordered an LT1 pump and didn't have an eta. He did say if I found one in stock to let him know and he would order it; he also asked if I had received the other items from RockAuto. I didn't see Jack's email until the following day, April 12th; after which I responded letting him know I hadn't heard back from anyone since March 24th, so I ordered the parts from RockAuto along with a bypass valve from Edelbrock, that was also bad, and had received everything. I also let him know I had ordered an LT4 pump from Jegs (this remains on backorder). I asked again about the paperwork, as I had not heard anything. I didn't hear anything until this Tue

Loved the staff! They were very informative and professional.

Having rented a VW Passat recently, I fell in love with VW quality, handling and overall value. After prequalifying with Capital One via Auto Navigator (3/19), I took a couple days to research and do a bit of online browsing and found myself at the certified pre-owned section of Jim Ellis Volkswagen. I settled on a few possible winners and headed up on Tuesday, 3/22. The drive from the city to Chamblee wasn't the shortest, but definitely worth it as I was able to make a same day purchase. I walked in expecting to be bombarded by sleazy car salesman, but I was actually approached by a very friendly and warm saleswoman by the name of Jessica Atkins. Not only did she take the time to walk me through the showroom, but she also sat me down to listen to my needs and preferred price range to come up with a few suitors. We looked at pre-owned models, but I quickly abandoned that plan after I looked at the options in the showroom and smelt the new car smell and got an idea of just how nice the newer VWs are. We test drove the Toas and a Jetta SE, which was my favorite! We also looked at a few other Jetta's (R-Line, SEL and another SE) and Toas models, but as I am hella indecisive, I knew the SE would be a perfect fit! I arrived around 3:30 and left by 6pm with my registration and keys in hand! Nelson in finance was also great as he was able to shop the loan for an interest rate well below what Capital One offered and for $0 down (if I so chose, but I wanted lower monthly payments so I opted to put money down). If you're looking for a new car, please consider Jim Ellis VW as I walked in extremely hesitant, but walked out with a HUGE SMILE!

Upon arrival 4-1-2026, I spoke with several different service staff members who both lied by stating they were my scheduled service advisor. Then, I was passed along to another staff person, then another staff person, who then told me that I would be issued a loaner vehicle after I provide my driver's license and a copy of my auto insurance declarations page and a credit card, issued a loaner. Day 2, no call from Lauren Cusson service advisor. Day 3, I call Lauren, who states your vehicle is ready for pick up, no diagnostic test was performed, but a video inspection of the vehicle revealed the upper coolant hose leaking coolant, they replaced the hose because they had a new hose already in stock, they test drove the vehicle and now is ready for pick up. Keynote: (The vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty). On 4-3-26, I return to retrieve my vehicle, I was provided with a multi-point inspection report indicating that my engine oil condition was "OK". However, I later discovered that my vehicle was in fact about 600 miles over do for an oil change at the time of inspection and coolant hose repair service. This discrepancy is both concerning and unacceptable. To better understand the situation, I contacted Service manager Thomas Webb and requested an explanation. I was informed that I should have been notified that the vehicle would need attention soon". This response does not adequately address the core issue; the inspection report itself was inaccurate and failed to reflect the true condition of my vehicle, no diagnostic test was performed but they claim the coolant hose was leaking coolant and they had the part in stock and changed it which was causing the vehicle overheating, the complaint for rough idling was never address and still exists. A multi - point inspection and proper diagnostic testing is intended to provide customers with reliable and transparent information to make an informed maintenance decision. Provide incorrect or misleading information undermines trust and raises serious concerns about both the competence and honesty of the service process and service repairs. Because of the dishonesty and the circumstances, I experienced at Jim Ellis I formally requested both verbally and in writing a complete, itemized history of all maintenance, repairs, and warranty claims performed on my Traverse. Jim Ellis Chevrolet Atlanta, has refused to provide me with these documents. Service manager Thomas Webb called my cell phone and left a voice mail message stating that service advisor Lauren emailed me the requested documents this is COMPLETELY FALSE. I called Thomas back an informed that Lauren Cusson had not emailed me the requested documents as stated in his voice mail. Thomas stated, ok when she comes back to her desk I will have her email you the documents, it's only a few, I think you only had service here a few times". I never received the documents. This is why the "upcharges" that i often pay, i don't mention or ask about. I rather pay the price of functionality than be stranded on the side of the road with a million drivers passing me by. Until, i was bamboozled to believe that what was need on my vehicle was a $5000+ purchase! YES!! For a 2012. But its ok. My only advise for women that come alone to the dealership, you have to expect that the warning that women are charged more is true, but before you break your bag for a purchase, make sure to get a 2nd opinion OR bring your knowledge. When I was charged and paid $5000+ and they didn't explain the situation had NOT been fixed, i decided that would be my last visit. I enjoyed my service tech rep, but since he is the one that gamed me on the service, I no-longer visit the location. All the other service members can stand to improve their customer service approaches, but that's of no consequence. People will be people. Yes, the service is either a hit or a miss; so choose your rep wisely. Know that if you have, what i assume is an assigned tech that has assisted you in the past, others techs will hesitate to help you, willingly. If you are a female, most of the reps are happy to help but you will be up-charged or treated rudely if you refuse their suggested service! Try to come with a guy, or a knowledgeable girl, if you can. Also i read the other reviews, but you decide how you feel specifically because the responses to reviews are only for "good" reviews. I have left good reviews in the past, so i'm not disgruntled but i want to be honest. I don't want any other female to be taken advantage of...but life is life. Don't break the bank to get service. If you have an older model infinity, i'll give you an excellent shop that won't break your bank.
