Biscuits and gravy and hash brown casserole from The Rocking Chair
Renee R.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It was fairly big and open and bright. The portions are really plentiful and you get your order quick and the staff is friendly. You have to try the smoked pork chop. Comes in The Rocking Chair breakfast. Super good!

Huge breakfast

The roommate had a flat tire at 4 am and while waiting for the tow truck we decided to grab breakfast at Butterfields. After getting our beverages the tow company called and said they would be there in a few mins , so we were forced to abandon our drinks and go. The waitress, a very sweet lady refused to charge us for the drinks and off we went. I dropped him at his car and made my way back to the restaurant to enjoy breakfast. The same lovely lady was there and took very good care of me. She didn't even wanna charge me , but of course I couldn't allow that, so when she walked away I dropped a 20 on the table and left. This was my first time at Butterfields and if they are this kind to their customers, I will most definitely be returning.

Incredible atmosphere!

Service is INCREDIBLE! When me and my large party arrived, they instantly made sure we were at a table . Food came out fast and hot. Just a bite is all it takes to transport you to the wonderful word of flavor. I got the sweet tea, which was a bit on the overly sweet side. However, the incredible atmosphere makes in feel like home, transporting you to your childhood. I'm honestly surprised that more people don't know about this restaurant. If this doesn't deserve 5 stars, I don't know what will.

Lived in the acreage for a while and never stopped here but I'm glad my father and I did. Great food. Simple and fresh.

Biscuit in gravy.

I've come here twice now, and both times Butterfield's has revealed themselves as a nice family-style restaurant, serving great breakfast and other meals. Nestled in the plaza on the northwest corner of Okeechobee and Royal Palm Beach Boulevards, the establishment offers a great array of the former meal entrees. Personally, I haven't tried their lunch or dinner entrees, as they have been a breakfast spot for me, but they do deliver. For my money, The Rocking Chair is class and filling, serving first a biscuit and gravy in a cup before a plate of smoked pork chop (or sausage if you prefer), grits, hash brown casserole, eggs how you want them, which I enjoyed with a side of bacon. Additionally, I've noshed on their croissant sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon, and American cheese. Both are great options, especially, if you enjoy pork as I do.

french toast and bananas
Joella D.

Friendly service and extensive menu. French toast with bananas and brown sugar was amazing and a huge portion enough to share. Ordered to go and it was ready pretty fast

Taste and look like frozen tenders not seasoned well. Waffle lacked flavor and was given no syrup.

Food is good but a couple of bucks higher than other breakfast/lunch places. Overall, worth going if you're in the area.

Honestly had no idea World of Beer was still around -- but I am so glad this location is!…read more We stumbled upon WOB WPB through a quick Yelp search while hunting for a happy hour spot before the Pitbull concert just down the street at the iThink Amphitheater, and it turned out to be the perfect find. This location is massive -- a huge, impressive venue complete with two golf simulators and plenty of TVs for catching all the sporting events. Whether you're stopping in for a quick happy hour or settling in for a full evening, there's plenty to keep you entertained. Happy hour did not disappoint. I went with the Fat Tire draft for $6, and my bestie and I shared the beer cheese nachos (we added chili for a little extra protein -- no regrets) and the pretzel. The nachos hit the spot, and the pretzel was hot, soft, and perfectly salted, with mustard and cheese dipping sauces that took it over the top. Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious. Cold beer, great bites, good company -- exactly what you want before a concert. Our server Celestial was a total standout -- attentive, bubbly, and genuinely took great care of us from start to finish. She's the kind of server who makes you want to come back. WOB also boasts an impressive beer-on-tap selection, and the food is elevated bar fare done right. It's not your average bar menu, and that's a very good thing. Now that I know this spot exists, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

The space is clean, modern, and has a laid-back but upscale brunch vibe. Sitting at the bar was the perfect choice the setup is sleek, and it gives you a front-row view of everything going on. Between the lighting, the open feel, and the energy in the room, it just felt like a place you can relax, vibe, and enjoy your food. We sat at the bar, and I highly recommend it if you want the full experience. The bartenders were amazing super welcoming, engaging, and entertaining while making drinks. It made the whole visit feel fun and personal. Now let's get into the food because this is where they really shine. We ordered: * Banana Bourbon Coconut French Toast - $16 * Regular French Toast (side) - $16 * Oxtail & Grits - $25 * Eggs & Sausage - $10 First, the French toast... absolutely incredible. The bread was extremely soft, rich, and perfectly soaked without being soggy. The banana bourbon coconut flavor took it to another level sweet, buttery, and full of flavor. Definitely the star of the table. The oxtail & grits were just as impressive. The oxtail was tender, well-seasoned, and fell right off the bone, paired with creamy, smooth grits that balanced everything out perfectly. Even the eggs and sausage simple but done right. No complaints across the board. Total came out to around $67 before tax, and honestly, it was worth every dollar considering the quality, portions, and overall experience. Overall: Great food, great ambience, and excellent customer service. This is one of those spots where you leave already planning your next visit. 10/10 I'll definitely be back.

The ambiance was nice, playlist was also pretty good. So definitely great ambiance from jump. I did think our food took a long time to come. Drinks; The mimosa was really good and definitely nice and strong but it was really small in my opinion for $9. Food: The food was really good. The shrimp and grits was really tasty. My friend had the chicken and waffles and the waffles were really nice and soft but too sweet. My peach cobbler french toast was amazing, overall the food was really really good. Definitely coming back to try something else. Our total came out to be $76 with tip and i think it was worth it!! I will be coming back

The restaurant is small and parking is limited. Staff was very friendly, They serve breakfast here all day. My husband had one of their breakfast specials, while I had something from the lunch side of their menu. He got their "Georgia Breakfast". It had two biscuits with sausage and cheese topped with sausage gravy along with two over easy eggs and grits. He said the biscuits were wonderful -- nice and soft inside. We were surprised to learn they were not house made, but from a food service company, Cheney Brothers. I got their crispy chicken club sandwich. The all white meat chicken was breaded and fried. It was very good. Came with a few strips of bacon, a large slice of red tomato, and a lettuce leaf. The bacon could have been a tad more well done. And the bun -- called a Kaiser roll on the menu -- was more like a hamburger bun. I didn't eat the bread. Got potato salad as my side. It was eggy and slightly sweet from the pickle relish. Good, but not my favorite. I had to get a biscuit to go -- just to try one -- and ate it in the car with the provided butter as my "dessert". Glad we got to try this place. Definitely a good option for breakfast. Although their pot roast special of the day looked appealing, too .

"Hidden" is truth in advertising. But, this Gem shines bright!…read more Looking for someplace new, I searched Yelp and this was the No. 1 recommendation. A brief drive south, Morgan's is nestled among auto body shops and parts dealers. Plenty of parking outside. And, as soon as we entered we knew this was our newest go-to. Unassuming facade with the name out front. On entry about 7 booths and 6 tables, together with counter service for a handful more. Classic diner griddle in the open kitchen. Seasonal (Halloween) decor. Classic diner menu. Plenty of options of nearly everything for everyone. Servers were conversational, fun, and pleasant. Quick on their feet. No delays for drinks or food. First cup of coffee was thin, so our server/owner brewed a fresh double cup to accommodate taste. A perfect veggie omelette with grits and English muffin disappeared. My chicken fried steak and eggs with sausage gravy and a house baked biscuit was a perfect plate. Every component was precise - eggs over exactly medium, crispy breaded steak, exceptional sausage gravy, and a biscuit that had to be held down so it didn't float away. Bottomless drinks and great food in a clean, well-lighted space. The extra boost is the most reasonable prices anywhere in south Florida. I cannot wait to return with more friends. This off the pages tasty venue should not be a complete secret! Can I leave 6 stars???

We were given drink tickets that could not be used at the bar, which I understand, but without sufficient and attentive wait staff, it can be a nightmare waiting for drink orders to be taken or for them to even return. I did not receive my last drink because by the time they made the announcement for last call, our waitress was unable to get back to our table before the tab was closed, and we were out of luck. I ended up having strawberry margaritas but unfortunately found a piece of plastic in my first drink. They were also oddly out of regular straws that day and could only offer kids' straws. Food quality was also a miss for me that day. We had three food options to choose from: 10 wings and fries, a Cobb salad, or a mahi sandwich. Most people at my table ordered the wings or the salad. I was the only one to choose buffalo-flavored wings, and when I tell you the presentation was TERRIBLE, I was honestly surprised. There was so much buffalo sauce drowning the entire plate that I could barely enjoy my fries because they were drenched and soggy. With the length of the wait times and the nature of the event, I found no use in complaining or asking for fries to be remade, so I made do. I'll stick to the Village location.
