Food is okay, they forgot to give me a fork, not sure how they expected me to eat their over priced mediocre food.

It's known for using the traditional dum pukht slow‑cooking method, which brings out deep, rich flavours in dishes like biryani and curries. The space is cozy yet refined, making it a comfortable spot for anything from a casual dinner to a special night out. The menu offers a wide range of options, including vegetarian choices and allergy‑friendly dishes, all made with fresh, high‑quality ingredients. We ordered "Broccoli Steak Mustard Glaze " for appetizer, "Dal Panchratni" and "Chicken Tikka Masala" for main and paired our meal with "Tropical Oasis" and "Sex on the Beach". We finished our meal with "Nest Rasmalai" for dessert. Our food was flavorful and beautifully served. The staff are friendly and attentive.

A couple of cocktails got our evening started, before ordering from a menu of dishes being featured for the evening. Here's what we had: * Broccoli Soup * Lasooni Tangdi (Chicken) * Lamb Nawabi * Dum Pukht Veg Biryani * Goan Curry Fish * Laal Maas (Goat Curry) * Garlic Naan * Shai Tukda (Dessert) The food was pretty good, with rich flavours, bright colours, and attractive presentation, especially the dessert, with foggy dry ice creating a nice aesthetic. I also had the chance to photograph other dishes. Everything looked great! Service was understandably slow for a packed house but live performers kept us entertained, with dancers and a musician circulating through the dining room. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening out with a friend. 4.5/5.0

Overall, a solid 4-star experience at Goan Indian Farm Kitchen…read more The Chicken Tikka was hands down the star of the meal--10/10! The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, with a beautiful char from the grill. The marinade was full of spices that were perfectly balanced, and the smoky flavor was absolutely delightful. My only suggestion would be to serve a bit more mint chutney alongside, as the coolness and freshness of the chutney paired beautifully with the spice of the chicken. The Spicy Beef Kebab was decent, but I have to give it a 7/10. While the texture was great, and the kebab was tender, it could've benefited from a stronger, more distinct flavor profile. The spices were a bit too overwhelming, and the beef lacked the depth I was hoping for. A bit more seasoning and complexity would've elevated it. The Palak Paneer was solid, but not perfect--8.5/10. The spinach sauce was creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices, but I found that there wasn't enough paneer in the dish. It felt like there was a great base, but the lack of enough paneer left me wanting more of that rich, cheesy bite that makes this dish so satisfying. Still, the sauce itself was excellent. The Makhan Chicken with Mushrooms was good but somewhat underwhelming--7/10. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the flavor of the sauce didn't quite have the depth or richness I expected. The mushrooms added some nice earthiness, but overall, I was hoping for a more complex, flavorful dish. It was fine, but it didn't stand out compared to the other items. As for dessert, the Bebinca was warm and moist, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for--6.5/10. The texture was perfect--soft and almost cake-like--but the sweetness and coconut flavor didn't quite pop the way it should. I feel like the Gulabjamun Rose Cheesecake might have been a better pick, as the Bebinca didn't quite hit the mark. But the true highlight of the meal was the Mango Lassi Cheesecake - 10/10. It was absolutely divine! It tasted exactly like a mango lassi, but in cheesecake form. The mango flavor was fresh and vibrant, while the creamy texture was smooth and indulgent. Every bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, and we wouldn't change a thing about it. It was the ultimate dessert to end the meal. While the food was mostly excellent (especially the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake), the service was a bit of a letdown. The greeter rolled their eyes when we asked for a table away from the entrance, despite there being plenty of empty tables at lunchtime. That initial encounter made us feel a little unwelcome, though the staff did check on us afterward, and we still left a tip. The interior decor was beautiful, though--definitely added to the overall experience. Overall, despite the service hiccup, the food (particularly the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake) was fantastic, and we would definitely return for the food!

This place is located in a plaza on the south side of Steeles and is very unassuming. It's literally called "The Indian Cuisine" - Googling this place is hard because you can't just use a partial name! There is a large red sign but otherwise nothing distinct. Upon entering there isn't a lot of tables and a small buffet visually. But compared to "The Host" this place has a solid selection of food of around 30 items which is plenty, only issue is that they don't refill everything all that quickly so you may need to go back for aby favorites. But there is plenty to go around, pretty freshly made and hot. Better then a tray of food sitting under a heat lamp all morning! The quality of the food was quite decent and didn't taste overly salty. Everything tasted on point and portions of course is AYCE so no problems here! AYCE is only available weekends, so Fri to Sun only from 11:30 to 3pm but very well worth the trip. As of March 2024 lunch buffet was $18.99 for one adult + tax and tip. Unheard of with inflation these days. There was only one guy waiter, refilling food, fresh naan, cashier etc. He did it all, did it fast and with a smile! Really great service! Honestly would not hesitate to go back or recommend. Is this place social media worthy with decor and presentation? I will be honest and say it's pretty plain. But for price, value, food quality? It's really hard to beat! Keep expectations in check and remember you get what you pay for, and most of that goes to the food here! Hope they keep this up!

I loved the freshly made samosas. The tandoori platter was the highlight of the meal for me as each type of meat was cooked so well, full of their distinct flavors but still moist and tender. It came in a sizzling smoking hot to the table and we devoured it. The two curries were also delicious, but were overshadowed by my love of the tandoori.

Whether it's breakfast, brunch, or lunch, this place delivers the kind of authentic flavors that instantly transport you to South India. The food here is consistently amazing. My go-to is always the Mysore Masala Dosa and the vegetarian Parontha, but if I'm dining with a partner, I never miss the Vada Sambhar plate, with its two medu vadas and two idlis. Every bite hits that perfect balance of spice, texture, and comfort that makes you forget everything else. The atmosphere adds to the charm -- the walls are lined with large posters of South Indian stars and legends, and the music playing in the background completes the cozy, immersive vibe. It's the kind of place that feels both lively and relaxed at the same time. Service can be a bit slow, likely because they're a little understaffed, and there's often a fair wait during weekends or peak hours. Delivery through Uber Eats is an option, but in-person is where the experience really shines. Despite the wait, once the food arrives, all minor complaints disappear. If there's room for improvement, a slightly larger team on busy days could help speed up service and make the experience smoother for everyone. All in all, this is a spot I'll always return to -- it's perfect for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors in a comfortable, welcoming setting.
