Stuffed Breadsticks
Faren J.

It's hard to recommend what to get here because everything is I usually get the lunch special...and so often that they know my name as well as my order by heart. I always forget to take a picture before diving in, but I tried the stuffed breadsticks and remembered after eating only one in the order so enjoy!

Tasty, affordable snacks, but you can def get a full pizza/calzones/ sandwich meal. Friendly, professional bunch with a good menu and drink selection.

Amazing restaurant, pizza and customer service are top tier! I would recommend to anyone looking for pizza in the city.

Service was really rude. Create your own pizzas not slices, they are rectangle pieces, for the price it's not worth it at all.

Yamallama Delicatessen - Curry cauliflower bowl (and added chicken on top).... I cannot explain how good this was.

I was at a conference at the AMP and ordered lunch from Yamallama on the first day. The setup here…read moreis really cool. It's mostly grab and go sandwiches and salad, but they also have soup and a great selection of paninis that the staff will press while you wait. I opted for the grilled cheese panini and tomato soup and both were delicious and ready quickly, despite it being a busy day. The price point is reasonable and the woman who took my order and prepared my food was super nice. Yamallama for the win!

I looooove their tangerine tomato soup, falafel bowl, and taco bowl. Last week, I asked an employee which item on the menu is her favorite and she said the curry cauliflower bowl, so I ordered it. I CANNOT EXPLAIN how delicious it was. I got the tahini dressing and opted to add on pulled chicken for $5 and have not gone a day without thinking about it. The curry cauliflower bowl has: curry roasted cauliflower, golden raisins, cashews, pickled red onions, crispy chickpeas, and artisan lettuce blend. I know it sounds healthy and I don't care if you don't even like curry... you will LOVE THIS. I want it for every lunch for the rest of my life and I'm already planning my next visit to The AMP so I can get my hands on it. Order it. The only turmoil I now feel is the stress of wanting to try everything on the menu but not wanting to *not* order this bowl. Take one look at their menu and you'll be so impressed. I mean... they have an "everything bagel caesar" dressing. How delicious and creative is that? They have sandwiches, salads, warm bowls, soups, desserts, and more. Everything is colorful, fresh, and delicious. Thank you so much @Yamallama for being incredible. I saw that you now sell your bowls at Dream Palace Cafe too and I hope to see Yamallama meal options at many more coffee shops, stores, and cafes around town. I'll buy one every time I see one!!! PS: I just saw that they closed their second location in The Garage Food Hall and opened one across the street from The Children's Museum instead, so visit there or this AMP location.

Great location at…read morethe end of Mass Ave near Bottleworks--and pro tip: parking directly in front on the same side of the street is free. The space is big and fun, with a large dining room, an old-school video arcade game, interesting art, and a big screen playing movies, which adds to the laid-back, quirky vibe. It's counter service with clear menu boards on the wall, making ordering easy. I had the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon and an egg and... my goodness. So incredibly delicious. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. Self-serve coffee with all the fixings is a nice touch, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere, great food, solid portions--definitely will be back.

Stopped in here for brunch this past Sunday with my husband because we had been wanting to try it…read moreout for a while and had mixed feelings. We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!

This location has a lot of shelf-stable import Italian foods available for purchase, alongside fresh fruits and dairy products from local farms. Counter service for coffee is pretty quick for a mid-afternoon visit. I got the Neapolitan rose latte from the March spring specials. It was kind of expensive ($8 for 16 oz) but very delicious. It was a floral kind of sweet with the addition of a hint of rose. The pink foam colored with strawberry and beet powders adds to the overall cutesy effect! I also got a cocoa brownie ($2.50, about a 3-inch square) and that is surely chocolatey. I didn't find it to be too sweet but it doesn't lack in that department either. They use a Dutch process cocoa in their brownie to give it that signature dark color. Flavor wise, I can best describe it as an Oreo Cakester without the cream filling. Anyway, if you ever see me walking around the Stutz, you'll likely find me with an Amelia's coffee in hand as well!

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

What a fun spot for a sandwich or cheese or sundry items!…read more It is on the corner of two busy streets but does have two spots in front for parking. You can also park in the gravel lot across the road. It was raining pretty heavily so we got wet but wasn't a far dash. The counter is like any deli with the items displayed in the cold case. You can browse the various freezers or shelves for items like picked veggies, canned fish or spreads. It was fun to see that you could buy everything needed for a picnic or impromptu lunch! We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we. They also do tasting events and other things so we might check out one of their offerings. A fun local spot!
