The food was also not well seasoned like 100s of past visits. My wife and I have been dining here since we bought our home in Seaside in 2015 and have always enjoyed New Garden Asian Cuisine's large portions of fresh food and fast service from Candy and her attentive staff. I have not seen Candy here in the last 3 months during 5-6 visits and I can easily attest that the food quality and service is "off" and we strongly suspect that this restaurant has changed ownership. Current staff claims Candy is on a "vacation" in New York? Consider us extremely disappointed! After our latest meal at what was once our favorite restaurant in Seaside, I will think twice about dining here again as our food was very bland and service was not attentive like it always was when Candy was running it.

We ordered four appetizers and the pineapple fried rice. We thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. The fresh salad rolls paired with the peanut sauce were incredibly tasty, and the shrimp tempura with the sweet dipping sauce was scrumptious. The crab rangoons were my absolute favorite--perfectly stuffed with cream cheese and crab. To top it off, the pineapple fried rice was excellent, chock-full of shrimp and cashews. The atmosphere is great, featuring fun decorations and plenty of seating. The staff worked efficiently; our main waiter was a bit standoffish yet polite. The waitress was incredibly attentive and kept checking in on us. We had a great experience and will definitely be back to try other dishes.

The inside of the restaurant is comfortable and has a nice friendly vibe. The servers were friendly and our food arrived in a timely fashion and was hot. We interacted with several people, so it was difficult to determine who our designated server was. The Shrimp Tempura were very good. Husband ordered Pad Thai with chicken, spice level 3. He said the dish was spot on, with a smidge more heat that made him take his time alternating between bites and sips of beer. I had the Orange Chicken, spice level 1. The orange sauce was the best I've had. The chicken itself was a challenge to enjoy. The pieces were hard and I asked for a knife to cut through them. I think the skin was so crisped up that the tough crunchy texture made me question if bones were left in while soft meat was almost non-existent. Maybe that's a one off for how the chicken was prepared that night, but for me the dish was a disappointment. The overall ambience was very comfortable. We sat by the window and watched the world go by. I will recommend Thai Thai to a friend who will be in Seaside for Thanksgiving. P.S. There is a Thai Thai in Cody, Wyoming that serves good food, but lacks the ambience of this one.

Unpleasant and short in her response. The food was not fresh due to low turnover inventory, but it makes sense when you don't think customer service matters- at least the vegetables were fresh, since they can't keep old vegetables. And, nothing came out hot, everything was luke warm. They closed the bathrooms, claiming it wasn't working and did not offered us another location. They spoke in Vietnamese regarding us not ordering anything yet, not sure if that's why they chained off the bathroom and not let us used it. They opened the chain when there were more customers. I hate to imagine if we were the only ones there, do we get to use the bathroom even if we were paid customers. They didn't realize that Oregon's A‑2 occupancy rules required at least ONE functional bathroom. I took video. There is no incentive to give customer service since they add 20% for service fees for group over 6 (or 5)..let this sink in a bit. Whether or not they provide service, they get 20% regardless. Our bill total was $375. If you come here expecting anything, don't! the meats tasted like freezer burn due to low turnover and the service doesn't exist. I came from a family that had a restaurant, we know that the customers are the backbone of a successful business, good food + good services = loyalist. We didn't leave because we had a large group to coordinate and we didn't want our 95yo mom to be hungry. We drove four hours to OR for a family get together to celebrate her birthday. Zero stars!

The food was good but we made the mistake of asking for it to be "medium" instead of mild and it was covered in chilis.
