The only reason I posted one star is because it doesn't let you do 0 starts. Where to begin?!!! 1. I booked this bus about a month ahead. About two weeks in I called them because I hadn't heard from them and there were no details set for the night. They told me that they usually call the week of to finalized the details. I had picked a night club that they list on their website as a guaranteed free cover and I wanted to make sure I was all set with that. Again, they told me I would be all set. I saw a flyer about an event that was going on at that club the same night and I let them know so that they could let me know if they would be still be able to get us in for free and the guy let me know that we were still all set. I was feeling skeptical but I let it go. 2. The week of the event came and I still hadn't heard from them, I called and called and I finally got a hold of someone on that Thursday (my event was Saturday). They still had not confirmed if they were able to get us in the club for free. After I insisted on them finding out, they finally contacted someone and low and behold, they couldn't get us in for free. This was an important part of the night because my guests paid with the assumption that there would be free cover. The guy (Matt) did nothing about it and told me that my driver would call me the next day to figure something out. I was livid! On top of that, he told me to look into clubs myself and try to work something out. Seriously?!! When booking the bus he said "you wont have to do anything, we will take care of you" .... sure you would. 3. When my driver called me, I picked a different club on their website which they also guaranteed no line/no cover. Its 9PM the night before the event and guess what? Cant get into that club for free either. The driver tried to work something out and because I was so upset and crying on the phone, he was able to get us in for free but we bad to be at the club before 10:45PM. This meant that I was paying $1,180 for 2 and a half hours on the bus. Awful waste of money because they make you pay for 6 hours minimum. We had a good time on the bus but I was glad that it was finally over. 4. I thought I was done with this company for good but two weeks later, I get a second charge on my account from them. I paid a deposit and $750 was left over which they charged the night of the event. Two weeks later, they charged another $750 to my account. I call the guy and he says he would look into it first thing the next morning. It is 3PM on the next day and I have yet to hear from them. This is absolutely the worst company to deal with and I would never ever do business with them. I am extremely unhappy and would advise you all to stay away from this company. Im sure you could get better deals elsewhere!! read more

Back on 1/31/14 my wife and I had a 21st birthday party for her younger sister. My wife called and made the arrangements with owner a month before the party. I was not involved until the night of the party when we had to pay the rest of the bill. I met John for the first time that night and he was an excellent driver and host for us. We had tried earlier in the day to make arrangements to go to Howl at the Moon in Boston but we could not get a hold of anyone. That night before we left, John mentioned to my wife some tips on how to speak to the manager. When we arrived at Howl at the Moon we left the bus to see a huge line around the building. He went with my wife and within moments we were allowed to cut the line and get inside. A few hours later after we left there, he mentioned another bar that we could try. That bar was the best as it had an empty bar to the left with a dance floor and a live band and larger bar to the right. While my sister in law and her friends partied on the loud side, the guys and myself chilled on the low key end of the bar. Great way to end the night. John was not pushy when it came to leaving and he was very pleasant to deal with the whole time. A true professional! read more

Last night I celebrated my 22nd birthday on the Mr. Bostonian party bus and the bus was the coolest thing I have ever seen! It was very spacious, clean, great loud speakers for our own music and we got to go to some amazing bars like Royale with no wait in line and no cover fee! Which is great cause it is normally rather expensive there. When we were done at Royale our Driver John was very knowledgable and helpful when choosing another bar and we got let right in the back no waiting and no cover again! Then we finished our night out driving around dancing on the bus 's dance floor and drinking on the bus! It was a wonderful experience both planning the night and the night itself! Our driver John was great! He was really fun, relaxed, never made us feel rushed and he was up to do whatever me and my friends wanted to do and had great suggestions on bars to go to after we were done at Royale. After Royale we had glow in the dark foam sticks and we left them on the bus for the second bar and he put them around the ceiling to add some more cool decorations! Overall it was the greatest experience and John our driver added to that as well! If you are looking into a bus rental this is the company! read more

I recently had my sister's bachelorette party in Boston , considering I don't know the area, I had a hard time picking bars to go to. I spoke to the owner Matt and he told me the bus driver has connections with the bars and would take us all around Boston , he also included a free hour for our bus :) We rented the 80's bus with 25 people and it was perfect !! There was plenty of room, including a dance floor, pole and coolers . The bus was nice and clean and our driver cleaned up our bus when we were done. Our bus driver was Mike , he was awesome! He called me the morning of the bus to find out if we liked bars or clubs and our age range ( which was 25-50) . The bus arrived right on time and he was happy to take pictures of us in front of it . We requested to drive around for an hour , then he took us to 4 different bars. He gave me his number to give him a heads up when we were ready , to have the next bar lined up. All of the bars were a great time, and The bus itself was a true party !! Everyone really had the time of their life !! Wow! Where do I begin? From the moment I spoke to Chad to compare party bus quotes and flexibility I was sold. Chad explained to me detail by detail what made Bustonian's reputation and reliability worth every penny! He was patient and had a good sense of humor. When I joked that I would only take the bus if he agreed to be my driver for my 21st birthday celebration, he made it happen! One week later, Chad arrived early at the front of my place. He was very easy going and made all of my guests on the bus feel good. A note on party buses, TEN TIMES BETTER than LIMOS! I had gone on a limo the week before for a friends birthdate (we were crammed and uncomfortable) and the moment I stepped on the party bus I knew I made the right choice. We all felt comfortable and could dance the whole way there! Chad was patient with waiting for all of us to get out and was a great bus driver! All of my friends were already planning the next time they would need a party bus and undoubtedly said they needed a CHAD to be their bus driver too! Great company! I used the Bustonian for my girlfriend's 23rd birthday and we had an awesome night. During the planning process the Bustonian was always available for answering any questions or concerns we had. They were quick to help and were very professional. On the day of the event the driver had a lot of communication with me to ensure that we were on the same page for pick up time/location and bars we were headed to. The driver was on time and got us to both places exactly when we were supposed to be there. He made sure we all got into both bars and made sure we didn't have to pay cover at both places. He kept in contact throughout the night to make sure we knew where he would pick us up and when. The Bustonian has great relationships with a ton of great bars in Boston and made the night very easy to plan. All 32 of us had a great time and we will definitely book the Bustonian for another night. Worth it!!! It's a lot better than a regular bar night in Boston. This was hands down the best time we could have asked for. It was my fiances birthday, and our best friends return from over seas. The company as a whole did everything to accomidate us and made sure that everyone had a good safe time. Im the biggest worrier and after we boarded, i was able to relax and know everyone was in good hands and taken care of. The company stayed in touch with me and continued to provide excetional customer service from begining to end. If you have a group of friends and your looking for a good safe alternative to meeting in Boston and bar hopping this is the best idea anyone could ask for. Thank You all at the Bustonian for making what would have been a great night into a legendary night. Because of you this homecoming/birthday can never be topped. Trust me I`m the poorest one out there and cheapest, but this was worth every doller spent and if i could id do it again i would in a second. I used Bustonian for my best friends bachelorette party, 23 girls and we wanted to go to a few different places without having to wait in lines, pay multiple covers, etc. They took care of everything for us all the bars the called ahead of time so we did not have to wait in lines or pay any covers. It was amazing!! Also the bus was perfect! It has built in coolers so you don't have to take up space by bringing coolers plenty of room for everyone, great sound system with an iPod accessible station so you can play anything you want. Our driver, Tom, was helpful, and dry knowledgeable of the Boston area so we didn't have to think about anything! I also booked with Matt who was so helpful! He was so accommodating and answered all of my questions! Overall, this was one of the best nights I could have imagined for a bachelorette party, largely in part to the Bustonian! Other than prom, can't think of the last time my friends and I went on a bus for the night - personally, I think the Bustonian was awesome. What better way to go out to the bars with a bunch of friends in Boston and not have to worry about driving home or waiting in lines, paying cover charges, etc. Started the night off by stocking the bus with beer, champagne, jell-o shots, etc., and ended up driving around Boston for a couple hours having an absolute blast. Our bus driver Tommy hooked us up with no cover and no wait to get into bars and above all else at 2am when heading back, Tommy picked up pizzas for us. If I could have done anything different, I would've stayed on the bus longer. I rented a bus for my friend's birthday, and we all had such a great time! Mind you, we are all in our 30's, but we still know how party! The bus was amazing and really clean. Not only was the bus nice, but the service was great as well. The bus driver was fun and drove us to some of the best spots in Boston, but alot like the other reviewers, we didn't really want to leave the bus because we had all the drinks, music, and dancing we needed all in one place. We honestly couldn't ask for more. By the end of the night, one of our girlfriends had a little too much to drink :) ...but the driver was very professional and did everything he could to help us out. This was honestly the BEST night of my life. I rented the 80's bus for my 21st birthday and it was sooo much fun! The bus was pretty decked out with lights, speakers, drinks and of course, a stripper pole. It was definitely the highlight of the night and me and my girls were dancing on it the whole time. We def got a little crazy and I definitely got a workout from that pole! They took us everywhere we wanted to go, no problem, but I think I had more fun on the bus than in the bars. The bus driver was pretty awesome too and he bumped all of the music that we wanted. I definitely recommend the Bustonian! I rented a Party bus from the Bustonian for my sister's 30th birthday this past weekend. It was absolutely, hands down the best decision ever! In fact, most people wanted to just stay on the bus and drink and dance rather than going in any of the bars!! Tommy was the best. He was so laid back about everything, helped us figure out where to go, and was cool to just drive around and let us enjoy the bus. By far the most fun I've ever had going out in boston! You're on a bus with 30 of your friends, alcohol, dance floor music it really doesn't get any better. it's a great way to get together with all of your friends and have a good time! Plus when you split a bus between 25-30 people it's very affordable and it's a safe way to get together with everyone because you don't have to worry about anyone driving home from the bars drunk. i went for my 21st birthday and everyone still says that was the best time they've had and that was 2 years ago. I went on the Bustonian in early December with a a large group of my friends from my college dormitory and we had a blast! The music was great and the driver was really friendly. The driver brings you to wherever you want even if it just to go make a pit stop at a bathroom or to grab a bite to eat. The music and lighting as well as the stripper pole add a really fun and exciting atmosphere. There are also plenty of comfy seats for whenever you need a break from dancing. The Bustonian was AMAZING! It was definitely one of the best nights I've had in a loooooong time. It's something different than just going to the bars and clubs around Boston. I booked the Bustonian for the 2nd time. For the price and the quality, you will not be able to find anything better. Our driver, Mike was extremely patient and was extremely flexible with us. We didn't really have a set plan, and he went wherever we asked him to. The company is amazing and is extremely flexible. Most other party bus companies were not as flexible and were not able to accommodate our crowd. I would highly recommend the Bustonian and will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Had a blast last Friday night on the 80's Bustonian bus. A friend rented the 80's bus for his wife's birthday. There were about 24 of us all dressed in 80's attire. We surprised her in Waltham and off we went to Pickering Wharf. We were the talk of the town. The bus was awesome and Tommy the driver is the best! We had a 40th birthday party for a friend of ours. Tom was our driver and he was great. We hit a bunch of bars on the south shore...Marshfield, Duxbury, Plymouth and he was real flexible. Even stopped to pick someone up at their house along the way. Would definitely recommend them and definitely ask for Tom! By the way, I left my cell phone on the bus and was discovered when it was cleaned up. Tom went out of his way personally, in making sure I got it back the next day. read more
