Ok, first the bad... my sister has a seafood allergy and called ahead to see if they have a separate fryer for the GF and one for the gluten stuff. They do, but due to an issue with one of the fryers they were forced to use one for all food and the host my sister talked to did not know that. We showed up, ordered and was then told that they could not accommodate the allergy. Now to the good. They staff did all they could from comping my sisters meal to being extra generous with the wine pours to bringing our special dishes the chef was trying out. The food was AMAZING!!! The service was AMAZING!!!! Sam made the evening exceptional. We learned after the meal that they were down a manager, host, and server due to "Ketchikan Crud". I will 1000% be coming back to

Crab puffs And Muscles

Super cool place to eat and it's right on the ocean where you can watch the cruise ships coming in. Food was great the muscles in white wine sauce was superb I highly recommend that! Service was great our waitress was very nice. I'd come back here in a heart beat next time I'm in Ketchikan!

This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful decor and comfortable vibe, with such a beautiful view of the inside passage. Trystyn our server has been the best waiter & bartender we've had in town. All his recommendations from entrees to local drinks were perfect. The ribeye was perfectly cooked for medium, great flavor and was easy to slice into like butter. The chimichurri shrimp linguine was so buttery flavorful. And the Mead Sampler was sweet and went down easily. Nice buzz without the hangover my wife says. So we purchased a bottle of Mead after. Great experience and our favorite restaurant in Ketchikan.

This was a great new find for us after fishing for the last couple years in Ketchikan. The views don't get much better and drink and appetizer selections. Our party ordered the chicken wings , the smoked clam chowder (amazing..), the pistachio crusted halibut dinner, Caesar salad sides, smoked salmon salad, and the meatloaf for dinner with the cheesecake for dessert that we shared. The appetizers, the Caesar salad, smoked salmon salad, and the soup and cheesecake were our favorites. The halibut and meatloaf both we didn't care for the seasonings as much on them and were a little over seasoned particularly on the halibut, and both seemed dryer or a bit more overcooked than we would've liked. The service was prompt and we got right in by calling a few hours ahead for dinner reservations for a party of four with one of the best seats in the house closest to the water. We will definitely try them again, but might go for just drinks and appetizers !

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, because there's cruise ships and a lot of the food is catering to that crowd... This is more of a local place and the best food in the city and possibly on the island! Make sure to call for reservations! The charming lady taking care of us, Jessica M, was epitome of professional and prompt! Love love loved this place!

The service, food and the location right on the water makes this establishment my preferred go to in Ketchikan. You can't beat the views, the seating areas and the bar. I only wish the city of Ketchikan would find a way to allow them to have a full liquor license.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in Ketchikan, it's walkable right from the cruise port. The atmosphere is super cute and the view is amazing! There are sea planes coming and going, and the staff said you can see whales right outside as well. The Halibut ceviche is the best thing I've eaten on my trip! It was so fresh and flavorful! We also got the Dungeness Crab roll and it was very good! Fries are also fantastic! The beer, wine and cocktail menu was excellent. I got a virgin drink blueberry fizz and it was delicious. They had a few unique pop flavors too, my daughter tried the Spruce tip one and it was great! Our server was wonderful and super friendly, he gave us good recommendations for shopping that didn't feel touristy. If I make it to Ketchikan again, I'll definitely come back!

Perfectly cooked Rib Eye, potatoes and veggies.

I was told Bush Pilots' Lounge had the best Rib Eye steaks. The short answer is: They do! I had and excellent dinner with excellent service. The steak was cooked and seasoned exactly to my liking. I went back the next night, again had excellent service but the halibut was just OK. It was heavily seasoned so that's what I tasted. I sat at the bar which provided a perfect view of the water. I would definitely return for another rib eye, but not the fish.

What a fun bar/restaurant on the water. It's a great place watching the sea planes fly in and out while having a cocktail. The waitstaff was friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable. We loved having dinner- everything was delicious.

I was born and raised in KTN. Now living in Hawai'i (so the high prices weren't a shock to me) I was also a member of the Moose lodge that was originally located here. I absolutely love what they have done with the place. Classy and elegant. (Although I think the front lobby could have been used for more seating) Came in for apps before heading to the Nutcracker. Our server was JC and she was such a delight. Very friendly, helpful, funny, and knowledgeable about the building and menu. The only thing that was a little off was the beer bottles being thrown into the trash extremely loudly (bar) maybe just place them in can Highly recommended for a special night out!

Burrata with worm star

Made reservations, dressed to the nines with my husband to go full out. We were sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant that I can only describe as a place one should sit at with a cup of coffee, and a pastry- no more. Certainly not for a full on 250$ dinner. This was very odd to even have tables like this as they have no place in a decent dinner restaurant. The wait staff had a difficult time fitting our entrees on it, and all we could do was laugh. As far as the rest, it was overpriced for the quality. One elk steak was straight up rare, the other medium rare (what we wanted) and bland. Green beans had clearly been sitting on a warmer for a few hours. Mussels were dry, lots of broken and punctured shells which was odd and 4 weren't opened, and somehow they still decided to serve it. Dessert, a peach cobbler was small and standard. Burrata had an odd worm star on top, at an attempt for creativity? A very Ketchikan style experience, for Michelin star pricing. Ketchikan quality food pretending not to be. Lots of platitudes and puns throughout the menu, and everywhere else you look but no mention of the farms they source from. Staff were friendly but not communicative with each other. Repeatedly took our share plates, we were left without utensils twice and one server got stuck delivering food while we were still eating our mussels and didn't know what to do so we just let them take them away to make it less awkward. Food delivered without utensils. Maybe it was their first night and never got trained. A different server was almost horrified with how quickly we finished our shared dessert, like we were goblins...? but we just wanted to get out of the awkward table and chairs. Not bad, but definitely not what it is trying to be. Music was good, my company was 5 stars and the hand made pottery was a cool touch, but it all felt like harvested ideas, not an original vision.

Great service and food. View was remarkable. Short little walk from the cruise ships, just far enough to get out of the cruise ships crowds.

We both agreed that The Asylum was our favorite of the 3 pubs that we visited in Ketchikan during…read morethe pub crawl. It's well known for their specialty Duck Fart shots, but it's really the owners that make it so special. We were greeted warmly by Carlos. He made this visit so much fun. Honestly, I would have loved to stay longer to sample some of the local beers. They have many craft beers on tap. I just couldn't pass up the Booty Juice cocktail. It's strong & unique. I think he said it was a local huckleberry vodka, but I could be wrong. The best part was the Duck Fart shot. Don't go by the recipe because he actually makes it a little different. I won't spoil it for you. Not all Duck Farts are created equal. Haha! My husband won a t-shirt with the pub logo. Yes, our group played a trivia game. The owner admittedly has no filter. That's really what made the whole experience such a blast. Unfortunately, it was our first stop so we had to move on. I'd definitely revisit this one again in the future.

Great place to grab a drink with your friends and just enjoy your time. Drink prices are reasonable and the drinks were great. The vibes were chill. Met some kind people. Definitely recommend giving this place a try when in Ketchikan. We know we'll be back again one day.
