The food here is phenomenal! I was so impressed and I'm not usually that excited about pizza. The spinach artichoke dip is AMAZING. Not worth the LONG wait time for the BELOW MEDIOCRE Pizza Came to know about this place after watching a vlog from a traveller. We reached Ketchikan on July 15, 2026 via Princess. The entire day was going well till we stepped into this place. The waitress was COLD and UNWELCOMING. We didn't think much about it and simply wanted to have a nice lunch and enjoy the outside view. We placed our order for the artichoke dip, one 10 inch pizza and another 15 inch pizza. We were told 30-35 minutes wait time. We thought it was ok and agreed to wait. We waited and waited. Even after 45 minutes there was no sign of our food. We waited for almost an hour and had to remind the waitress about our order. We even wanted to cancel the appetizer at this point. The waitress said that the appetizer was in the oven and cannot be cancelled. The appetizer came to the table after an hour. The pizzas were brought to the table after almost 1.25 hours. At this point, our patience was running out. We paid for the pizza, had them box it for us and we dashed out. We had few more places to cover before heading back to the ship. Overall, this was a stressful situation. Waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for mediocre pizza is absurd. And no. The Pizza was NOT outstanding by any stretch. I don't know if this was a one-off incident or they are always like this. But the cook and the waitress we had at the restaurant seemed INCOMPETENT. Do not go to this place if you have a time crunch. And don't believe the wait time from the waitress. read more

Billy the cook is a an amazing person. The pesto sandwiches are to die for. He makes them correctly and with enough to never over do it but just right for you to much down and enjoy. After paying your tram fees, you then walk outside, down a gravel path to the Eagle's Nest. Once inside, you first see the pizza oven and pizza chef (impressive), then seat yourself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every table has an incredible view towards the harbor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizzas were inventive, beautifully coo I'm ed, and tasty. Service was friendly and competent. Desserts we're good, too (cheesecake, cannoli, ice cream). We decided to walk back via the Married Man Path. It was beautiful, but there are A LOT of steps. This place treated us terribly. The host staff was terrible. The waiting staff was awful. The tram was broken, forcing us to walk up only to be mistreated. first time at The Eagles Nest. Ordered a small GF pizza and Italian Side Salad. Salad came covered with croutons. Menu did not list croutons on this salad. I asked the server if she could bring me a salad without croutons. She took the salad then came right back with the same salad minus the croutons but with croutons remnants all over it. I brought it back to her and said I can't eat this. she took it and never brought me a salad. She couldn't answer any questions about items on the menu and I was not provided a plate for my Gluten Free pizza. read more

Cape Fox Lodge is the best place to stay in Ketchikan and one reason is the food at the Lodge. We have been waiting for their Pizza restaurant to open and it's now open. First let's start with the beauty of the restaurant. The bar area is gorgeous and glittering gold and with big cushy bar stools. The bar itself is gorgeous and full of lights. You will have to tear yourself away. The light fixtures in the dining area are stunning and I couldn't stop looking at them. If you go outside on the outdoor deck it's has a million dollar view. Now for the food. Let's start with the antipasto salad full of chunks of prosciutto and mozzarella cheese and beans etc and tasted wonderful and fresh. Nothing skimpy here. We also ordered meatballs because who doesn't want to have meatballs with their pizza. Next we tried two different pizzas and the pizza crust was outstanding and crisp and chewy. The pizza oven makes a huge difference in the quality of the crust. We had one for the kids with pepperoni and sausage and they loved it. We also ordered a Roni pizza which was great. If you want to eat real pizza go try Ketchikan's best new pizza restaurant. The service is friendly and the food is great. You will be happy you did. Bon Appetit read more

We came on a dreary day for lunch and had the place to ourselves. (A Monday) It was a lovely lunch. I had the antipasto salad and my husband had the salmon pizza. We were delighted with both. The 10 inch was actually the right size for my husband (he said he wasn't overly stuffed but satisfied) Good service (of course we were the only ones there) however I asked the waitress if there wasn't supposed to be olives in this and she said oh, the tamponade you mean? I said yeah. I see the sun-dried tomatoes but I don't see any olives. She brought me a small container with a bunch of it and then I realize that what I had with the sun-dried tomatoes was actually very chopped up olives. She didn't argue with me, (even though I was in the wrong)and was happy to give me more. I thought that was very nice of her. Can't wait to go back! read more

The thing that could need work is the SERVICE! I am very sad that we could not be accepted into the establishment tonight. The receptionist would not take our names to be put on the waitlist and would skate around the subject. After waiting about 15 minutes her manager came over and said that they would not be sitting anyone even though there were open tables. When asked why he said that they had a big party coming and did not have the staff for it. Even with that going on the restaurant was still take call in orders. I am very sad and disappointed with the establishment and staff. read more

First off this place was a little difficult to find. I knew the about where it was but some signs by the Cape Fox Lodge pointing to the pizza place would be nice. Second the place echoes with noise. There were only a few other people there but it was noisy. We could hardly hear each other talk. The food was okay. The pizzas tasted good but they are definitely overpriced for a small personal sized pizza. The artichoke dip was good. The cannelloni wasn't as good as it could have been. The shell was hard and you could tell by the texture that it had been in the refrigerator for awhile. The decor and the fancy new pizza oven are pretty though but I think a one time visit to this establishment is enough for me. read more

We were staying at Cape Fox and enjoyed their pizza and beer menu. It's a nicely decorated restaurant and the service was great. As women we didn't feel safe walking down a dark path to get to the restaurant at dinner time. It would be nice if they added security cameras and more lights to the path. That dark area under the stairs is especially creepy to pass by. read more
