Meter parking was our option. The coffee shop itself is a beautiful space and has a cozy atmosphere with arranged seating that gives it a true café feel. There was artwork displayed throughout the shop that was available for purchase, which added a unique touch. The space was relatively clean and well-maintained, although it was noticeably very warm inside during our visit. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was inconsistent. The woman who took our order gave off an unwelcoming impression and came across as somewhat rude through her tone and body language. She did not interact much with us and made the ordering experience feel a bit uncomfortable. However, her coworker, who had black/brown and blonde hair, was incredibly kind, which helped balance out the experience. The biggest disappointment was the drinks. I ordered a hot cocoa, but it tasted similar to a packet of hot chocolate you could make at home. The marshmallows were the small crunchy kind, which was not what I expected. One positive is that they offered oat milk, which was appreciated since I am lactose intolerant. My boyfriend ordered a chocolate milk, but unfortunately, it was also not enjoyable. It tasted more like straight chocolate syrup or powder that had not been properly mixed rather than a smooth chocolate milk. We also tried a peanut butter cookie, which had a good flavor, but it was partially melted from how warm the shop was. I personally prefer softer cookies, so the texture was not really my preference, but it was decent overall. The prices were fairly reasonable, although the small chocolate milk felt a bit expensive at $3.75 considering the quality and for it being a small. Overall, the atmosphere and aesthetic of the café were great, but the drinks and inconsistent customer service left a lot to be desired.

Although it was warm outside today, we sat under their covered bench table with the creek in back of us. The service was great and attentive! We decided to order the Deluxe Grill Mix ($175) which came with a variety of meats on top of some grilled vegetables and salad. There were a variety of steak cuts and were all well seasoned and tender. Their fries were closer to a thick potato chip but still tasty and crispy. The Deluxe Grill Mix came along with a large platter of hummus along with a bowl of chopped salad and pitas. Hummus tasted fresh and had a great smooth texture which complemented well with the pitas. The chopped salad was refreshing but needed a pinch of salt. There's also a little trail in the back along the creek that was great after our meal. Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little off the beaten path. I had the half order of onion rings, cup of cheese and broccoli soup, and chicken cordon bleu sandwich. The onion rings had a PERFECT tempura batter crust that was flavorful to my liking. The accompanying condiment was a perfect pairing for me. Ketchup was offered, but for me, it would have spoiled the appetizer. Though cautiously order them unless all will earn them. The half order was HUGE! The cup cheese and broccoli soup was hearty and quite flavorful. A perfect option for the drizzly day we went. Lastly, the cordon bleu sandwich was good. It was served on a buttered Kaiser bun. Unfortunately, I only ate half because of the other items I had tried. The other regret was I didn't try any of the fish. I suspect the fish would have been perfect. My husband had the burger, plain, and dry. He was almost brought to tears from the favor memory that over came him. It reminded him of his father's recipe is why. I can honestly say not a crumb was left on the plate. He fought the urge to order another.
