Eighteen days ago Bill Shramm and a plumber (Gino?) arrived at my house. They evaluated a sewer clean out and a sewer liner, both of which were installed by Burtech thirty months earlier. They found a root growing in the lined system. Schamm said that although the two-year warranty had recently lapsed, it was likely Burtech would still honor the warranty and remove the root. He even suggested the repair could be performed the following week. The decision, Schramm said, to repair the Burtech-lined pipe would rest with the company's owner. Schramm eventually left my house in apparent frustration as he was unable to successfully explain my sewer system's clean outs; he simply walked to his truck and drove off, quite aggravated. I called Bill Schramm today because I had not heard from him since he evaluated my sewer almost three weeks earlier. He said the boss had been "busy." Schramm said Burtech's owner refused to clean the root from the sewer at no charge, but he would be pleased to charge me for the repair. Without getting into details, I felt Schramm was ultimately a very rude, impatient, and easily offended salesman. He was disturbingly defensive. When the Burtech plumber, Gino, attempted to explain to me an issue that Schramm was failing at, he rudely cut Gino off and motioned for Gino to go immediately to his truck. I would have invited Gino's input. The plumber seemed knowledgable, respectful and eager to help. Shramm would have none of it. When I quoted another company's plumber's derogatory comments about the construction of Burtech's clean outs, Schramm accused me of being the source of those words. I continually had to remind they were not my words but those of a professional plumber who had evaluated the sewer the previous day. Overall, a very, very bad experience. (I've never written a review like this before.) read more

Technician Eli was on time, honest and reliable. He did a good job evaluating the problem and took his time to find a solution. Pricing is fair. I would recommend this company to others. read more

Burtech was quick to respond and sent a tech out the same day to give us an estimate to fix our shower. They were reasonably priced and Eli came out to do the repairs. This is my second review for Burtech Plumbing and I am happy to report that their care and service continues to be excellent. I appreciate so much that they have an answering service, so whenever we have needed anything, we always spoke to a real person and didn't have to wait on hold or talk to an answering machine. Over the past few years, we have had different issues (clogged shower, curious spot on the ceiling, toilet that made a dripping noise, etc). In each case, Burtech has been responsive and their professionals (specifically Jaimie, Jose and Ely) have been outstanding. I've recommended Burtech to others in our neighborhood, but I feel they deserve accolades that will reach a wider audience. read more

I reached out to Burtech Plumbing via email and they got back to me very quickly. We scheduled a time for a technician to come out and he called 10 minutes before arriving, as they said he would. Elbert Caldera was very pleasant and professional, I showed him what I wanted done, he then explained what he would do and gave me a quote. Elbert started to work right away and did a great job! Interested in learning "Handywomen" jobs, Elbert answered any questions I had. I definitely recommend Burtech Plumbing and Elbert Caldera - I plan on using them again when the need arises. These guys are the best at what they do. They show up on time, are very friendly and knowledgeable and if you are lucky you will get Elbert as your tech. He was amazing, I have never met someone who work so hard to do the job right. I have a 22 year old home that is starting to have its problems. Do to the hard water, everything has so much corrosion on it's almost impossible to get it off. With a lot of sweat Elbert got it done and fixed everything even with a smile. Having dealt with trades over the years, I am able to appreciate an outstanding professional such as Eli, the Burtech plumber, that came to my home to carefully and efficiently replace two faucets. I found him conscientious right from his courtesy call letting me know his eta. Eli was prepared with booties and mask. He laid down absorbent mats under each sink to make sure that his areas of work were kept dry and clean. Once he assessed what replacement faucets were needed he purchased faucets from a tried and true plumbing supply, not inferior ones found at big box stores. His clean up was outstanding. Add to this that Eli is a friendly and pleasant person! read more

5 stars aren't enough. I called Sunday afternoon with a major sewage emergency. Their service answered, were professional, and confirmed a technician would come in two hours. I have had Burtech Plumbing come to my mother's house twice. The first time was for a leaky faucet, which also had a valve that could no longer be adjusted. During the first visit the valve was fixed but a second visit was needed to fix the leaky faucet since the handles had fused to the sink. When I finally got around to buying a new faucet, Burtech came out quickly and got it taken care of, and trust me it was no easy task. Very professional and helpful, definitely recommend. read more

Straight-forward, professional, and honest. I requested quotes from several plumbers. Burtech was the first to respond and quickly gave me a full, professional, reasonable quote. Jaime did the work well and took time explain what he was going to do before doing it and reviewed the finished work to make sure I was happy it. He also was always very conscientious with regards to "social distancing", always wore a face mask, gloves, and booties (inside). I highly recommend Burtech Plumbing. read more

Our kitchen sink was clogged and Burtech plumbing was the only company (out of 5), who gave a upfront cost estimate for unclogging it. Unfortunately we weren't able to schedule them initially and went with another plumber. They failed to unclog the sink after spending about 2 hours at it. As a next step, they recommended more drastic measures like opening up the ceiling of the garage (where the kitchen sits over) to look at the pipes. We scheduled Burtech plumbing for a second opinion. Jose came by on a Sunday and unclogged the sink in less than 30mins. Quick, effective and reliable. Thank you Jose and Burtech plumbing!! read more

I had a clogged kitchen sink and I requested a quote and they replied within a few minutes and was able to schedule an appointment within the hour! They sent Jose to my location and he was extremely courteous, polite and professional. He showed me the possible points of the clogs origin and after determining where the clog was he was able to clear it within 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend Jose and this company. read more

Burtech came out yesterday to replace our old main water shutoff valve which had unfortunately broken and was stuck in the off position. Elbert was awesome - he identified the issue, drew up options, explained what he would do in detail, then tackled the project as soon as I signed off on the work. Unfortunately, the street-level shutoff valve was completely stuck so I had to call the city to come out and close it off before he could start the job. They said they could send someone out between a few hours to 48 hrs! In the meantime, Elbert helped with another minor fix where I needed to shorten the gas connection to our dryer so it could be closer to the wall. He fixed that in no time, but the city had still not shown up so he said he'd be back in the morning (assuming our water was off by then). Of course, right when he left, the city showed up! I called Burtech to see if Elbert would be able to come back so we didn't have to go another night without water. He came back within 10 minutes and got the job done. Plumbing work (along with electrical) is one of the areas I don't DIY much due to the risk of absolute disaster so it's nice to know that I can reach out to Burtech for any future work. I strongly recommend Burtech and Elbert who is friendly and knowledgeable! read more

I had a main water line burst in my front yard and Burtech gave us the best price quote from all of our estimates. Elbert our plumber showed up and was incredibly friendly and efficient and did an awesome job repairing the line. He is the man and I will definitely use Burtech and request Elbert directly anytime I have any plumbing needs. read more

My main water line burst causing a gusher leak. I was able to shut off water at the meter. Based on their ratings I called Burtech, they sent someone out the next day who found the problem. I needed to run a new main line, which was dependent on a digging crew. Fortunately they were able to rig up a temp feed so we had toilets and running water. Total cost seemed to be in the ballpark of other quotes. Job completed in 1 day and everything is up an running again. Great job. read more
