I like to order the "Hot" flavor, and it's definitely spicy but again - salty. I'm obsessed with the Dave's sauce though. I've dined here a few times and the service and food are also inconsistent. Once I ordered pickup and my fries obviously weren't fresh and were super greasy. Another time, the chicken and fries were fresh. So perhaps it depends on the time of day that you go. Pros: The food is very filling. The first time I visited I ordered Dave's #3 1 Slider & 1 Tender with Fries and could not finish it. The next time I ordered 1 Slider with Fries and this was the perfect amount of food for me. For vegetarian options: Try the cauliflower bites! They were really good and filling. You can also choose your spice level for them. Overall it's a good place to eat if you're close by, but I wouldn't travel from far to dine here.

This was the best veggie burger I've had in a long time, and it's vegan! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but was surprised at how delicious this was. Just be aware that there's very limited outdoor seating, so you may be standing around and eating. But there's charm doing that at an old school burger joint, so I'm cool with that :)

The place is a drive-through (with a walk-up counter, as well) type place. It does have a few tables next to the building, but I got my burger and fries to go and ate atthe nearby Tom Petty Park. The staff here are incredibly friendly. I went with the Holy Moly Double with fries. The cost was about eleven dollars. When I got to Tom Petty Park and opened my food, I was impressed with the portion and after my first bite, I was even more impressed with the taste. Why settle on one of those fast-food burger monoliths when you can have a superior burger from a local business? I would definitely recommend Holy Moly Burgers and the Bird.

As it was summer break, a lot of the other businesses in the building were closed (Vietnamese and Italian restaurant as well as a boba place). The place looks like it was being run by a hardworking couple. We checked out the menu and my wife ordered the Gyro Platter and I ordered the Souvlaki Platter. We also ordered a couple of fountain drinks. The gyro meat was well seasoned and tender. The Greek salad was quite good. The chicken souvlaki, however, seemed to lack flavor and a bit dry. Portions were quite generous and the value was there. We actually packed our leftovers for some quesadillas later. If we do go back, I would order the gyro instead of the chicken souvlaki. NOTE: They don't validate parking which was $3 for an hour

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I think want to be honest. I came to The Spot recently for lunch…read moreand was not happy with my experience. Located in midtown, this appears to a fast casual place that caters towards college students. They serve "Greek" street food, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. The food is relatively inexpensive. Service is fine, actually the people working there are friendly. Food is made to order and comes out quickly. There is some seating available inside (it's limited) but there are plenty of tables in the hall. I ordered the Street Chicken Souvlaki which included grilled chicken with tomato, onion, fries inside a pita, topped with ketchup and mustard. This was a very large portion. The pita was good, but pretty much fell apart the second I picked it up. While I liked the chicken, it was over seasoned and I didn't care for the "sauced" quality of it. I'm not sure if they marinated it or tossed it in some sauce, but it was too much. The fries were decent, but not super crispy. I felt that they were not necessarily and a little over-the-top. The tomato was fresh and but the red onion slices were very thick. The mustard and ketchup didn't work with the seasonings on the chicken. The dish was just all over the place and I couldn't even finish half of it before I started feeling sick. I ordered a side of onion rings as well. This was a large order and the size was great. But these onion rings were over-battered and were fresh, but not crispy at all. I bit into one and ended up pulling out the whole onion rings. Not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was so heavy and overly salted I couldn't even eat half of it. I ended up giving it to a homeless person on the way out. The food left my stomach in shambles the rest of the day. Service is fine. But the food is not desirable. It is safe to say I will not be returning, which is unfortunate.

Well what they have been saying on the Google reviews isssss kinda true. Last time I stopped here,…read moreI watched a woman throw my order (to be picked up by customer) in the center of a work station, but no one called my name. Just about everything was cold and the chicken sandwich was incorrect, just like it was this time. Why am I paying for cheese and/or bacon on a sandwich but never getting it? Last time, cheese but no bacon...this time, no cheese or extra mayo. (Which they should actually put honey mustard as an option but they don't--if so many people like to dip their chicken strips in it, why not option it as an add-on to your sandwich??) Worst of all, no one has bothered to clean all the greasy fingerprints off the doors as you come in...hard to find a clean table as well. What does the nighttime crew DO before they leave? Just leave everything disgusting for the opening crew? That doesn't make good sense at all! Management needs to make either one or the other do some cleaning BEFORE opening for business the next day! Seriously!! How hard is it to wipe down some table tops and benches? 10 minutes of work goes a looooong way towards good impressions. Also, instead of mopping and sweeping while customers are trying to sit and eat...let's think about doing that BEFORE or AFTER they're in the building. Who wants air from the floor blowing God knows what into their faces or food?? Thank you to whoever the man was who directed both fans into my face and food. It'll be another long while before I come back again. While yes, the food TASTES good, my fries were quickly cold from the blowing fan on me and who knows what was being directed onto them from the floor. Again, no cheese on my sandwich, although AGAIN, I paid for something I did not get. Are the employees just not awake this time of day when they're just starting their shift? Sorry to put bad out there, but I'm a bit upset that one of the treats I grant myself after being pulled and prodded at the doctor's office is a coffee from somewhere that's pricey but the only place that offers coconut milk AND PDQ! I'm about to change the second part to a different place if this bad decision making continues! Get your act together PDQ!

Okay, this is a hard one. Let's get this out of the way first...Magoo's was good. I'm a Cane's fan…read morebut wanted to give this a try. Honestly both do things well. I like Cane's fingers and comeback sauce better, but HM has a ton of sauce choices not just one like Cane's. In this respect, it's like Saucys, but better. They also have salads like Zaxbys, but better. And nuggets, let's not forget the nuggets. Their Texas toast probably the best in town. Blows Cane's out of the water. For fries I give the edge to Cane's. So if you only one strips and comeback sauce, Cane's wins. If you want variety, like salads and nuggets and a variety of sauces, Huey Magoo's wins. Zaxby's which used to be one of our favorites has gone downhill and is really only an option if you want wings, which the other restaurants do not have. Saucy's, unfortunately, which replaced PDQ, comes in last. So overall, I like this place. It's a bit hard to find, but if you're an old timer it's in the last location where Burritos Brothers used to be, just off Univ Ave. If you're looking for some good chicken strips, I'd give this place a try.

The fact that they use dark meat (chicken thighs) to make the tenders gives them a unique taste that I prefer to any other chicken place that I've tried. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the food or service (the employees are always nice). My biggest pain point is parking. It's by the university so of course parking is terrible and hard to find. It's the only thing that keeps us from eating here at least once a week.

There were only 2 people ordering at the counter so I used the ladies' room real quick while my husband reviewed their menu. The water at the main sink was not running at all so I could not use it to wash my hands. Luckily, I carry a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol with me so I just used that. I hope the female employees have a different restroom because they wouldn't be able to wash their hands either The lady that took the order was a little distant / disinterested / zoning out, polite but not very friendly like she's rather be somewhere else. We got our fountain drink first and waited for our order to be prepared: Culver Deluxe double meal with a side order of large onion rings. Total was about $19. It took about 10 minutes and the To Go busboy gave us our food, he was pleasant, polite, even smiled and thanked us for visiting. We left and had our food on the drive home - the Culver Deluxe was made well. It tasted fresh and the veggies were crisp. The large order of onion rings were crunchy just like we wanted them. And the crinkle fries were a great addition to complete our fast food craving. If I didn't visit the restroom, my rating would be higher. Also, staff allowed a non service animal (looked like a poodle mix) on a leash walk around the ordering counter area. I like pets but not near my restaurant orders. Maybe there should be a sign on the door to prevent that. Anyway, I hope the women's restroom faucet issue is resolved soon since that is major health and safety issue. Not sure if we'll be back again, but I did submit my main concerns to the Culver survey so maybe they'll contact me about it.
