The problem is the meat. The meat is just average. If they upgraded the meat, this might be the best burrito in Arizona. That's how good the tortilla is. But because the meat doesn't match the tortilla, it ends up being just a really solid burrito instead of an amazing one. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, so I can't speak on the rest of the food. But if we're talking burritos... Best tortilla I've had. Average meat. Good overall, but it leaves you thinking about what it could've been.

Making sure our drinks and chips were stocked before they went empty. She was very personable and made me want to ask her to be my friend because she was so lovely haha! Chips were served with a mild and spicy salsa, both of which were delectable. I loved the HH house frozen margarita. You could tell there was tequila in there but it wasn't overwhelming. We then ordered the elote dip... definitely recommend! Husband got the carne asada torta which he said was very good. I tried the carne asada street taco (very small, but good), along with the shrimp ceviche tostada. Everything was great. We will be back!

There are regulars that come in and seem to have a good rapport with the staff and they love the food. It was a bit of a rush time and there was only one bartender so service was a bit slow. We did get some chips and salsa as we waited. Good chips, airy and crispy. The salsa was OK. I'm personally just not a fan of roasted salsa. Their beer was crisp and thoroughly cold which was refreshing. I tried the amor de mango and it was tasty. I can't remember my first drink either. It was a Paloma or a margarita, but i didn't enjoy as much, which is why I changed my next drink. The chimi trio was very tasty and full of flavor, one bean one chicken one beef, all good. Then we got the carnitas cheese crisp which was interesting and had good flavor. I would order both again. Service was pretty good. Like I said, the bartender was busy working by himself and when one of his coworkers noticed, we didn't have any more water then she would come by and help so that was appreciated. It s good date spot, or catching up with a friend or just grabbing a bite to eat and drink for yourself. I look forward to coming back and trying entrees. My only hope is that during the hot bright times they lower the shades and get more shades. Not only to reduce the sun coming in but also reduce the glare on the tv that way all spots at the bar are good spots.

He also ordered a tamale since he really liked it last time. I had the #13 which is 2 Chicken or Beef Rolled Taquitos topped with sour, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole with rice & beans. Our server was a lady that makes the food. I'm guessing one of the owners. She was not a very good server. She did not check on us much. We waited a long time to get our check. Hubby didn't receive the tamale. When hubby told her about the tamale she said they were out of tamales & she forgot to tell him. That's because she never came back to the table. She said she needed to make more of them. They were much busier than the last time we were here. Hubby loved his food. This is his favorite Mex restaurant. I forgot to take any pictures until we had already eaten half our food. I did get a picture of a robot that goes to tables to deliver food with multiple plates & then goes back to the kitchen.

The restaurant itself is pretty small and it was very busy the entire time we were there which says a lot about how popular this place is. We sat at the long high top table inside and it felt tight especially with people in line right next to us. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
