Inconsistent experiences. One day, the killer chicken burrito with everything is excellent. Plenty of chicken and rice correct amount of beans and pico, pickled onions. Other days, it's mostly beans, and barely chicken, and no pickled onions. I don't understand the huge variation from week to week on the same item. Yesterday was my last visit. I was running late from work and ordered four chicken burritos for my family instead of cooking. Each burrito was made differently: some overloaded with beans, skimpy rice, and hardly any chicken with no picked onions. Very inconsistent product. On top of that, it cost $54.11, plus an $8 suggested tip--$62 total for four chicken burritos is not happening again for us. read more

This is not it. I've been here a handful of times since moving to the area because it's hard to find a good burrito spot. I was on the fence about trying them again, but I decided to because they advertised a $5 breakfast burrito. Big mistake. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito with eggs and potatoes, but honestly, I couldn't tell if I was eating rice or potatoes. The potatoes were overly mushy, the eggs were watery, and the combination was just bad. On top of that, the burrito wasn't even hot -- it was practically refrigerator temperature. At this point, I should've just gone to the nearby McDonald's and stuck with a sausage McMuffin. At least they're consistent with serving hot, fresh breakfast sandwiches. This was about the fifth time I've given this place a chance, and unfortunately, I won't be going back. The food was so horrible it's not pic worthy. read more

Drive thru for lunch! Ordered the chicken bowl with half rice and spring mix. Did not get chicken at all... :( just veggies and rice with TONS of onions... I really wanted to like this place because it's a mile from my house and I love Mexican food. I gave it two tries when it first opened and had both burritos and tacos. Was disappointed in the meats- tough, gristle, and flavorless. Figured it may have gotten better in the last year since I went there but no, same issue last week. Plus there's minimal other flavors or options to cover up the tasteless chicken and beef. They do make the food quickly after ordering and have a drive thru and walk up window options, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. I ordered a mix of chicken and steak tacos. Honestly, I didn't think they were bad at all! It's a basic street taco with all the fixings. The meats and tortillas are excellent. The fajita veggies are great and I love the pickled onions - I get them on everything. The barbacoa on flour is my fav. The salsas are OK, but I prefer something a little chunkier. The rice and beans are the best I have found at a quick service restaurant. The service is always fast, friendly and accurate. read more

It was a surprisingly nice addition to my day. A coworker brought food, as a way into my heart. Knowing that I lean more veg much of the time she grabbed me an egg breakfast burrito. She also grabbed a steak breakfast burrito. These things are massive. Her and I shared the egg and she sent me home with the steak to feed hungry Child"man" (my teenage son). They wrap them up like an OG who knows you may be eating it later, it truly prevented what otherwise would have been a sad and soggy leftover burrito. I was blessed with halves of each. Admittedly, as a person who prefers the veg over the meats, the steak was a but tough for my liking, but that isn't saying much at all. It reheated remarkably well thanks to the OG who packed it up. I would not be angry if I started a day per week with an egg breakfast burrito from this place... or rather, half for breakie and half for lunch. The red salsa is pretty spicy, whereas the green seemed to have very little spice at all. It's one of those situations where the green has the flavor I'm looking for and the red is more in line with my spice preference. What does one do in such a situation? Well, use both, of course. I was unaware of this place and if I happen to pass by one while looking for a bite, I may just stop in. I won't be heading out of my way by any means, but all in all, both halves curbed my hunger. I didn't realize that this was set up like Chipotle. The employees here are really nice! The place is clean. It's hard to realize that it's in this location though as it's changed businesses often. Let me paint a picture for you all: I am laying in my bed when all of a sudden my boyfriend starts yelling my name. He comes in with the most disgusted look on his face. To my surprise and UTTER disgust he proceeds to tell me that he was eating his burrito and when he went to take another bite, he lifted his head and saw the LONGEST black hair going from his mouth STILL ATTACHED to his burrito. I don't know if hair nets just cease to exist in 2025 but I nearly puked at just the thought of him having such a mortifying experience. We will literally never come back here again. Wife drove through on her way home from work, at my request. Brought home 2 "steak" street tacos, with rice and beans, and a chicken taco for herself. First time trying this place. Unfortunately, we see no reason to return, and we're still searching for some good drive thru tacos. Steak was ok, but a bit tough and chewy. Refried beans were some of the worst I've ever had. Tasted like they may have been reconstituted from a package. Rice was below average. Tasteless and meager portion. Wife said her chicken was dry and stringy. Best part... the salsa was pretty tasty. I have been pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Their breakfast burritos remind me of the ones I used to get in college in San Diego. They are hearty and filling. Their tacos are also good. I have not had their burritos but each time I go, I am pleasantly surprised. Each staff member I have had the opportunity to talk with has been very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. They have done great fund raisers for our school. I'm impressed that they allowed an all day window. That is rare and I appreciate their support to their community. read more

This location was by our home and decided to try since we saw the sign for $5 breakfast burritos. Walked up to order and saw this sign with the smaller print saying 99c charge for protein. So hubby and I order 2 breakfast chorizo burritos thinking it would be 5.99 but the lady said it was 7.99. Mentioned the sign and she tried to say it was because of the time but it was only 1040 am. The sign said served till 11 am. I told her they should take that sign down then because deceiving to customers. Going through the drive thru I ordered one burrito.... $6.53. Handed the cashier a $20 bill. Drove off next door to Black Rock Coffee (BTW good coffee and honest) noticed I had the wrong change. I tried calling their phone number to immediately tell them of their error... no one picked up. So I immediately drove back to the drive thru line.... Literally 5 minutes later. Same girl opened the drive thru window. I told her of the error very kindly...she immediately says no I gave her a $10 bill and gives me this blank stare. Look I had 1 $10 & 1 $ 20 bill I know what I gave her. What a terrible experience all the way around. I hope that my $10 bucks went to good like buying her baby formula or something but.... Opened up by my house and I figured I'd try it today, staff was very friendly but the food was awful, beans are bland, rice was meh, all 4 tacos I got (2 chicken and 2 steak) had grisly meat and unchewable cartilage throughout, literally have a pile of it next to my plate and I will not be returning, should have stuck with my go to spot maskadores. 2.5 stars. Service was good, food looked nice, price was alright. If you like really spicy salsa, extra salty chicken and/or tough steak this place is for you. I will say the beans were really good and the rice had a nice flavor but seemed a little too fake colored. It was worth trying, but likely won't be going back, unless I'm in the mood for some yummy homemade refried beans.
