This is nothing special I am not a resident of eugene or oregon at all as a matter of fact, but i must say without a shadow of a doubt this is the worst "mexican food" joint ive ever been too. I ordered a burrito and a few carne asada tacos. As i was staying at a motel across the street, it dawned to me to take it home and eat it there. Well to my disappointment when i went home, i opened my food and to my surprise the carne asada tacos and carne asada burrito were disgusting looking. If you are making or cooking carne asada, it should be on a grill were u watch it get cooked. These people are dumb enough to boil there carne asada. Dude carne asada is NEVER boiled. Its cooked. Part of the freaking name of the food is ASADA which if you dont know is roasted. So i was heavily disappointed and said to myself, well give this place a try. Not a good idea. The tacos and burrito were terrible. So i went back and told them why the hell did they boil there meat. The employee insisted on saying it was cooked on a grill. Im no fool. Im mexican and part of being mexican is knowing how particular foods are cooked. This meat had no signs of being put on a grill. It looked like they slacked off in cutting the meat and through it in a vat of who knows what. This a terrible place for mexican food. If you are looking for any decent quality mexican food around here. This is NOT your place. read more

Food is always good and fresh tasting. The night staff are always funny and nice. If you're ever hungry in the wee hours of the night and have limited money, I recommend going and getting a $3 bean n cheese. You will most likely be full and satisfied. read more

Veggie Wet Burrito has made it so that all other burritos will never, ever be the same. Ever! The whole menu is great, but the veggie "wet" burrito is probably what I would get if I had to choose only 1 thing to eat in Eugene, and Eugene has A LOT of good food!!! I normally like this place but today I got a bean and cheese burrito and the cheese was not melted at all. Obviously this was just a mistake so I asked them if they could warm it up or do something to melt the cheese. They refused to microwave it and did not offer a new burrito or any kinda of money back or refund. Ahhh yes, the "Best Burrito" Eugene Weekly. And they deserve it. Fresh ingredients, fast service and good locations. I work 1/2 block from the downtown location. I never eat anywhere else. I'm a huge fan of the wet burritos. They have the best Mole in town. My mouth is watering as I write. The green sauce is great. The orange sauce (habaneros and onions) is not for the faint of heart. I love it but I pay dearly for it a number of hours later. I can't eat it before a long car ride. The portions have gotten a little smaller and the prices have gone up but you can say the same for just about every other place in town. Did I really need a 2 lb burrito anyway? worst service ever! It was my 54 birthday so I walked almost mile to burrito boys on e. broadway and was anxiously waitng my burrito after walkin back home with it. Nothing fancy, but overall good solid food. We really liked their hot sauces - green & red. I had a cheese enchilada with beans & rice. There was something very tasty & a bit unusual about the enchilada... Maybe the type of cheese... Different... unique. Nothing was greasy, watery-thinned out; everything was substantial. Alan had the hard taco plate with shredded beef and had good things to say as well. Oddly, we were both reminded of an old Mexican restaurant in Eugene called El Sombrero, "The Hat" which holds good memories for us & many friends. We will go back for sure. Prices are reasonable; they have nightly specials that are a real bargain, plus, they're open 24/7. This is a Eugene-area standard. You haven't fully experienced Eugene without having been here before. The Carnitas wet is my go to, but everything is great. I have never had a problem at other burrito boy but this one is horrible. The customer service was horrible first off. I was in there yesterday. The first time I had to take my burrito back because it was75% rice , maybe 2% carne asada and the rest....? So I returned asking for a carne asada burrito...with carne asada and no onions for the second time. I rushed to work and when I got home at 1:30am went to eat it and guess what.....oh wow ONIONS! I called to complain and was told by the girl on the phone it was not her there earlier and she will have to check to make sure I'm telling the truth! I don't know if this is the worst one in town because of all the drunk college kids who come in but I will never come back there. I will be calling later today to get my money back. I got the wet bean and cheese burrito boy and it was pretty good. Too much refried bean but it wasn't nasty. Flavor was alright. My fiance got the Carne asada burrito and it was delicious according to him. I tried it and it was pretty good. I'd rather go to a better Mexican restaurant though for a more authentic burrito. This place is a joke. Ordered a breakfast burrito. Got in there 20 min later and they said they threw it out because I took too long? Ugh okay way to waste food? Anyways they mess up constantly. Last time I had a take out order they sent me the wrong order home. When I called in they were unapologetic and wouldn't start are order again until they saw they messed up.
