SBL found a new place to eat and it's called Burrito Barn. It's a little food truck in the middle of kinda nowhere; it's on the 303 Cotton Lane. I mean there's stuff out there, but things like agriculture and a general store. NOTE: SBL (Sexy Bearded Lover) Uber's on the side and he heard about this place from a patron. Since he started Ubering he has found a ton of new places, and we have decided every Saturday we are going to try a new place so we can mix it up. Which also gives me the opportunity to Yelp the heck outta all eating places big and small. So this quaint little food truck happens to have the absolute best food. Everything is fresh and nothing comes from a can. After I ate their food I kept thinking what was it that made this food so different, so better? Then it hit me...LOVE. This food is made with the most love ever. On the it's so good it's stupid meter, that dial kept spinning til it just landed on LOVE. It is a Mexican style food truck. There are these two ladies that make everything by hand. When the person told SBL about the Burrito Barn he said it's the best burritos you will find. Since then, we had it built up in our heads that this place was gonna be legit fantastic. Well guess what? It is. My pop said the country burrito was the best burrito he ever had. SBL said the machaca egg breakfast burrito was everything he pictured in his head. He said it's what a breakfast burrito should be. Mini me loved the very large pancakes and potatoes. Overall it was an excellent find and we will gladly go back. I like to think I have good taste, (SBL says I'm the Kanye West of self esteem) so trust me when I say this place is good. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Very frustrating little food place! We stop here randomly to support their business...they have great food but they have such a wacky schedule I am ready to give up on them. Their page shows the are open 6am-8pm on Friday. I try calling on my way to get my order started and no answer. Then I get there (at 7:50am) and the food truck is not even there. They really don't follow their schedule that is posted. Plus it says they take credit cards and they don't. Good luck getting food here! After several trips by there with no food, I am not sure I am going back.

Cash Only, but good as hell! For the price this place is a nice change of pace very authentic good street tacos the red chili chicken Burrito is my favorite so far. Can't wait to return to try everything else! WILL RETURN! Current location: corner of Glendale and Cotton lane.

I love that they do specials, their food is delicious and they do only take cash

Do not doubt this place, do not question whether or not you should come here. Quite literally everything is good, and the menu has such a variety that you'll find something that works for you, and yes it will be good. I left to make an appointment at the nearby nail salon and came back and they were still back there frying my fish - which, as mentioned, was chef's kiss otherwise. I loved my blue pineapple/coconut milk drink. This place is known for its beverages. Can't complain.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Today, my husband said let's try this place…read more I said ok! As we got closer, I realized I've been in the area several times. I have never ate at any of rhe places though. You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. Y'all are gonna see me alot. :)

No matter how busy, the wait is never long but your food is made to order. They have an abundant salsa bar and, if you sit outside, an employee is cooking up something on a plancha. We're looking forward to checking it out at some point. Stay tuned!

Overall so good! We originally drove over to this area to go to a different place but didn't know…read morethey closed and I'm so happy this was the first suggestion for birria!! I got a birria taco and my hubs got an al pastor quesadilla. We also got a side of rice and horchata. Horchata- creamy and delish (which says a lot because I don't usually care for it) Rice- was good to me but the peas could be left out lol Quesadilla- the meat was flavorful and owned every bite. Tortilla was nice and everything was a perfect ratio Birria- OMG! The flavor was perfect and the cheese. It was so hard not to eat it in one bite lol. I foot to add consume but honestly it didn't need it. I loved the flavor and how tender the meat was I've driven past the Litchfield location and always wanted to try so I am happy we made it into this location! Definitely will have to make my way to that one since it's a little closer to home. Also the seating is ample inside and the girls are nice! Kitchen was quick as well. Even when it was dead to watching alone form, they busted out those orders

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here. If you want good brunch and especially good chilaquiles go to Park Cafe not too far from this place they have the best I've had so far in the area.

Inside dining wasn't very big, but it was an off time, so there was plenty of seating available. They serve chips and salsa as soon as you sit. The chips were fresh and barely salted (which we like). I always ask for some guacamole with mine, I'm not a big salsa eater. Hubby really liked the salsa, but the guac was excellent!! Hubby ordered the 2 Cheese Enchiladas and I got the Large Taco Plate (I chose Carnitas and Al Pastor). They were served alongside rice and beans. The beans were nice and runny with cheese melted over. Hubby really enjoyed his enchiladas...they looked good, too. I asked for no cilantro (not a fan), so they doubled down on the onions, I guess. So many onions, I could barely make out what was in my tacos...LOL! After getting rid of some of them, I dug in. The tortillas were a bit dense, so I ended up taking the meats out of them and mixing it up with the rice/beans. The Carnitas were very tender, as was the Al Pastor. Service was fast and our server was very friendly.
