Be vary wary of this company! Over $3000. For a a water heater? Watch for the sales pitch to bring it up to code.. most of what they are pitching is not even code required. Shop around!! I found an honest plumber who replaced the water heater for half the amount... read more

My family home had an emergency situation where the washer valves were leaking. I initially called another plumbing company that said they could come between 3:30-5:30pm. Come 5:30pm, no one showed up. I called their office, and they found out their plumber wouldn't be able to make it, but they'll be able to come the next day 8-10am. Next day, I get a text around 9:30am that they won't be able to make it, but they can 1-4pm. I HAVE A LEAK. I called another plumber, but unfortunately, they were completely booked for the day. They recommended Burpee's. I called them immediately, and the person who answered was so sweet and nice. She assisted me so swiftly and was able to get a plumber within an hr. Carlos arrived promptly, assessed the situation, provided 2 options, was clear on the process of both options, and resolved the issue quickly. I highly recommend Burpee's for any plumbing needs. :) read more

Great plumbers! Had a big plumbing issue due to blocked pipes. They were able to camera pipes that other companies claimed they could not. Found the issue and were able to fix the problems with the least amount of disruption to our lives. Highly recommended. All the plumbers we had come by were highly skilled and knowledgeable and were able to answer all questions we had. read more

They worked well for us in the predicament we were in with our plumbing. We needed a huge iron flange pipe removed from our bathroom to remodel it. They had the expertise to come in and remove it and connect it to the work a different plumber had put in place. The bathroom remodel plumbing got finished. Everything is still working well. read more

It was Sunday at 5:00 pm. We had just gotten back from a weekend trip out of town. I go to use the kitchen sink to wash some dishes and black smelly water starts coming up, filling the sink, on the sink side and the garbage disposal side. I try the garbage disposal; dead. I am baffled because I never put anything down the sink or garbage disposal, in fact I have strainers on both sides, and any chunks that get collected I dump in the trash can. Where can this clog be coming from? I run to Lowes and buy a plunger. I plunge a couple of times and now black smelly water comes up from the base of the faucet and spills all over the counter top. The kitchen is unusable. Time to call a plumber. I do a google search, and Burpees Plumbing comes up at the top. They have very good reviews and I'm praying they're still open at this time, on a Sunday evening. Tracy answers the phone and says "let me see if I can get you one of our plumbers". Jose O. amazingly agrees to come over Sunday at 6:00 pm to take a look at the sink. I am so grateful. He arrives on time and works very efficiently. He tries snaking it a couple of times, and gets the kitchen sink to a usable state, but a hydro jet will be needed in a couple of days to get the clog fully removed. We have an older house, and we've had to deal with clogs before, on the bathroom side, so I welcome this option, as I'm hoping it will prevent future issues. My using the plunger broke some seals and now both kitchen sinks are leaking. Jose O. works hard, late into the evening, to ensure he leaves me with a usable kitchen sink, for which I am enormously grateful. I appreciated Jose O., his hard work and skill, and his helpful and considerate attitude so much, that I asked him to help us with another job. Two days later Jose O. and his skilled coworker came over, did the hydro jet and installed a new toilet for us. I am extremely happy with the work they did, the kitchen sinks and the new toilet work great now. I would call on Jose O. again, next time I need a plumber, without hesitation. Him, Tracy, and the team at Burpees Plumbing were wonderful. read more

Professional, on-time, and dependable. Jose Orozco, tech, did another solid conscientious job my other bathroom sink replacement. Did one earlier this year on the other leaky bathroom sink (April 2025). I purchased my own Moen faucet from Lowe's, upon his recommendation. Would recommend this company...despite the funny name. read more

I called for a same day service for my clogged bathroom sink. After charging my card $150, I get a call to say, "sorry, something came up and we have to do another day..." Forget that! So now I have to be burdened waiting for the $150 I don't have because of them! Seriously??? Absolutely not okay and not giving a second chance for a messed up impression. Shame shame shame.. and they call themselves the Most Valuable Plummer? Hardly *update: Then I get a call, coincidentally after I leave this review and this messy company unsays ooooh we won't charge you and we can still come at that time... I can't believe this crap! Others health with their unprofessionalism too, if you look at reviews. Save from annoyance and just go with another plumber read more

They did not tighten the garbage disposal after snaking the sink (only 3 of 2 screws were tightened). Since the sink is in an ADU no one noticed for 6 weeks! When they turned on the water it flooded underneath. Burpees also gave me a $1021.50 estimate from that same visit to "fix" a toilet by totally rebuilding it (it's less than 2 years old). Needless to say I called a different plumber who tightened the disposal, and who also called TOTO customer service to find out exactly what was wrong with the toilet & TOTO shipped the replacement part needed free of charge... Burpees got $261 from me. Never again. read more

Knowledgeable and professional plumbers. From the office to the job it was excellent work.

The stress of moving into a rental that needed drains cleaned, faucets repaired or replace and a water heater flush was deescalated by calling Burpee's Plumbing. Jose was to the property as scheduled, on time and did the replacement/repairs timely. Burpee's is literally on speed dial as I navigate my move in. Thanks again for outstanding service from the office staff to the repair and clean up by Jose. read more

I had a very bad and unprofessional experience with Burpees Plumbing. They came out to see the job and explained the problem to me and my neighbors. They agreed to do the job sent me the cost to do the job which I agreed to pay. The plumber and their main office were not communicating in regards to price and schedule which prolong the process. When we finally agreed on a date to complete the job which I rearranged my schedule for they came out to tell us that they "can not do the job because it wasn't in their scope of work" and the rep was rude and appeared that she didn't care. After coming out to inspect the job before and agreeing to do the job they told us this BS. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone. read more

After having 4 plumbers out to give us estimates on fixing a toilet problem, the 5th I called was Burpees. We were told almost 4 different things from prior plumbers were wrong and the costs ranged from $500 - $3800. One plumber, (Rooter Rooter) said the part was $15 but labor was over $400. Burpees came out and showed us the part that was needed, told us exactly the truth of what was wrong and the cost... $200! Sometimes, it's best to go with the neighborhood locals who still care about honesty. read more

I just have to stop by to give a rave review to Pedro and the entire team at Burpee's Plumbing & Rooter for going over and above to make sure that my plumbing needs were handled in time for the close of escrow on a condo I had up for sale. Pedro and his entire team worked tirelessly to make sure that every detail was attended to and working properly before the keys were turned over to the new owner. They did an entire re-pipe, dry wall and paint, in a really complicated space and even fixed a few small things that saved me a huge headache trying to find someone else. I can't recommend them any more highly. Thanks guys, I really appreciate you! read more

We were referred to Burpee's by a neighbor who had used them for many years. They attempted to clean out the main line to the street. They performed Hydrojet but were unable to clear the line. The charge to my elderly mother was $750. This was a minimum of $400 more than what other local companies subsequently bid. The plumbers who performed the work did not carry themselves in a professional manner. I spoke directly to the owner who really didn't want to hear anything negative I had to say. I was concerned that the work was not done properly. He spoke badly about the other companies that gave us bids to redo the job. He verbally agreed to send out one of his guys that he personally trained to ensure the work was done properly. Unfortunately, despite leaving three messages, we never received a call back and no one has ever come out to follow up with us. read more

Talk about service. Burpee's plumbing is on top when it comes to customer service. I am on the younger side and own my first home so anything that goes wrong is scary as I'm not the handiest gal out there...and often times get taken advantage of.... No hidden fees or up selling or lingo I didn't understand... he was to the point. If you are in need of plumbing services, I would definitely recommend these guys. My refrigerator got delivered on a Saturday, and I found out, on the spot, that they would not install and connect the new waterline because the old waterline passes through cabinetry. I got on the phone, called a couple of people, and promptly got a call back from someone at Burpee's Plumbing. Within an hour, they had someone scheduled to come out, quoted the price over the phone, and when Stephen came, he took his time, went back-and-forth to his truck to get parts he needed, and ensured it was connected correctly, passing through the cabinetry with sufficient space to not put tension on the waterline. The work was quick, clean, and they were extremely professional and polite. read more

We had several other companies come out to install a new washer and dryer. We cracked a pvc pipe while installing a regulator that caused a geyser! Found out about Burpee's from a friend who had used them for an emergency situation the night before. Alex arrived within an hour. He was very efficient and professional. I was in need of a plumber for a shower that wouldn't stop leaking. Every other plumber I had out was a s***show of idiocy and tried to jerk me around talking about a whole-day job... A friend mentioned Burpee, and I figured it was going to be another mess of an idiot-brigade... HOLY SHIT! Turns out Burpee is the goddamned Plumbing-whisperer. After being totally scammed by Neighborhood Plumber & Rooter I was skeptical about the water heater they installed so I called Burpee's Plumbing & Rooter to get an idea of what Neighborhood Plumber & Rooter actually did. Mike came out within less than an hour and checked everything and told me all the things they did wrong and how the installation was not up to proper city codes. I called building & safety and they told me there was never an inspector visit for the new water heater. If it wasn't for Mike I would have never known the installation wasn't up to par. He didn't charge me a dime for coming out and looking at it. I can definitely trust these guys and know they won't do me dirty. I have not used them as a plumber. But one of their plumbers drove past me and threw garbage out the window including a cigarette butt and other trash. He was also not paying attention to the road. I had a back up clog in the master bath shower so I turned to Yelp to see which plumber in the area had solid reviews. I decided to go with Burpee's based on all their 5 star reviews. I called late Monday afternoon and was told I could have a plumber out first thing the following morning, which was fine as this was not a true plumbing emergency. The plumber arrived early at 750AM and called me on my cell phone and I was back home to meet him shortly after (dropping my son off at school). I forget the plumber's name but he was very professional and took care of the drain stoppage quickly. Also took the time to show me the drain was cleared and how I might be able to keep the drain cleared for the future. He was in and out of the house in about 15 minutes. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service of Burpee's plumbing and will use them again should the need arise! read more
