I had to turn it on myself .... But this was when it was off

I put seafood on the bbq went to the restroom came back and my bbq was turned off wasn't even 2 mins and I thought my bbq seafood was cooked but it wasn't since after I took the Seabrook of the bbq it didn't sizzle when I put red meat on it. Then I could feel the Seafood in my stomach

All you can eat hotpot, Korean BBQ or both (for an extra $6 a person). Lunch is cheaper than dinner, of course, and kids under 11 are cheaper. If you bring more than six, I think, and it's your birthday, with ID, you eat free. Eat for up to 2 hrs. Lots of people in line, including some big kids from the local school, I think, out of their sports practice or game. Pirates (Jack Sparrow) little statue upfront, too, weirdly. Friendly staff but they do keep you moving close to the 2hr mark, and sometimes not always available to get certain items unless you flag them down. I had just the hotpot. Broth was solid. The spicy, according to my fellow diners, wasn't spicy enough. Lots of fresh items and fruits, cake, and dessert (ice cream), plus some appetizers (fried cream cheese wontons, etc.) in the buffet. Plates and bowls were still a bit wet or needed cleaning (some cross-contamination across the buffet, so be careful of that). Hotpot meat is in little trays - though seafood & Korean BBQ meat is more pick up the size you want. Fish balls and meat balls were just so-so, but kimchi, beef, lamb, and tofu were good. Hotpot is individual small pots. K BBQ is one big grill in the center. Parking lot is a bit dangerous, it's crowded and weird turns throughout and people driving too fast.

I visited Burnin 99 on Sunday, and it was by far the best Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant I've ever been to. The selection was impressive--so many options to choose from--and every single item I tried was delicious. The meats were well-seasoned, fresh, and cooked up perfectly on the grill. There was a slight language barrier with our server, but he was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, so everything worked out smoothly. The décor was modern and fun, with these really cool cloud lights that synced with the music, adding an extra layer of ambiance and making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The raw food station looked very clean, and the temperature of the items appeared well-maintained, which I always appreciate at a hot pot spot. I honestly wish I lived in the area because I would be here at least once a week. If you're in the Charleston area and love Korean BBQ or hot pot, this place is an absolute must-try!

The ramen and rice cakes I was charged for

I used to go out of my way to eat at this location, but unfortunately it has gone downhill significantly. The food quality seems to get worse with every visit. The restaurant itself appears less clean than it used to be, and the air conditioning never seems to work properly. Instead, they bring in large industrial fans that make the dining room loud and uncomfortable. What finally pushed me over the edge was my most recent visit. After I had already paid, a staff member went through my soup, picked out a few noodles and rice cakes, and told me it was considered "waste" and that I would be charged an additional fee. I was charged an extra $13 for ramen and approximately five rice cakes. I've eaten here at least 25 times over the years and was shocked by how this situation was handled. Rather than working with a loyal customer over such a small amount of food, they chose to nickel-and-dime me after the meal was already finished. This experience was disappointing, frustrating, and frankly the final straw. I won't be returning.

First visit and loved it. Didn't think I was a hot pot kind of person because I never enjoyed shabu shabu in Japan. But this was delicious. They also serve Korean BBQ as well. The buffet to choose your ingredients for both is huge!!!! And everything was very fresh!

I went here with family. You can order the hotpot, Korean bbq or both. There wasn't as many options as other places I've been too, but it had some variety. The options are divided based on what you got which is also different from other places I've gone too. For instance the hotpot ingredients were in one section beside the Korean bbq section. Other places had everything together and it didn't matter what you got. They have a small drink section (non-alcoholic) that you can grab from so I got an apple flavored drink. There was a little wait initially, so you can make reservations. We ordered a couple bowls of rice to go with our meals. They had a few desserts and the cake was really good. They put parchment paper on the burner so that prevented food getting stuck on the grill. I wish they had a few more sauce options. They have a location in Summerville so I want to try that one to compare. Overall, we left stuffed and I'd go again.

This is an all you can eat Korean BBQ and Hot pot BBQ in the outskirts of Charleston South Carolina, and that should tell you everything there is to tell. It is unique, it is amazing, and it is a buffet, so you will leave happy, entertained and full. They also have an option to add the unlimited soda bat which has different bottled drinks to add, or you can add alcoholic drinks from the menu. Noteworthy: If you come on your birthday with at least 4 other people you get to eat for free. They do check IDs so , it has to be your birthday day. It was the perfect way to celebrate for me and I had a great time with my friends. (Do make reservations for larger groups) Plenty of parking and plenty of food. Great time

I love this place! Such a great hot pot place. Great selection of condiments as well as meats, seafood and vegetables! The staff is great as well. Super helpful and they definitely stay busy. I would make a reservation for sure if you're going for dinner. 10 out of 10

This was fun. The food was all right. I really don't have a huge appetite so I felt it was kinda expensive in accordance to how much food i actually ate. With all the burners and cooking elements at the table, you felt a little cramped. This would be a fun place to go with a big group

10/10! This place never disappoints. My friend and I have been coming here for quite a while. We usually go on Saturdays and there was a bit of a wait once but the hostess said we could make reservations online for the future. Highly recommend making a reservation online because yesterday was crazy busy! Even with our reservation, we still waited for another 20 minutes to get seated since every table has a max of 2 hours to eat! I love the variety of food that you can choose from for hot pot or KBBQ. You can even choose to have both if you'd like! They now offer Soju which I thought was a plus! My friend and I got a Yogurt and Strawberry Soju and it was so so good! This place is like a Buffett. You sit down and your server will ask you if you want hotpot, KBBQ or both. Once you've ordered, you're free to get up and get your items that you want! They have seafood, meats, veggies etc. Drinks that are non alcoholic are a grab as you please and will be charged after you finish your meal! There's also a sauce station to build your own sauce and ice cream as a post treat! The ambiance is great overall! Super spacious and relaxing to enjoy your meal with friends and family! Our server was so nice and accommodated us very well! Love this place!

I've come here for Korean barbecue twice now and each time was exceptional! The quality of the meats for a really good, especially since it was an all you can eat. I love the bulgogi, marinated spicy pork, and shrimp, the most! It's a super fun spot to enjoy with a large group the table we sat at easily could have for 10 quite comfortably. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our barbecue was always clean for the next round of food, and helped us if we had any questions with how to cook. I definitely need to come back for a hot pot. I think they have a lot more ingredient options on their hot pot menu!

Do you need to make a reservation or can you just go in?

You can def walk in, but if you are going with a larger party like 4+ i would recommend making a reservation so you are sure to get one of the huge tables

We discovered this restaurant thanks to our amazing walking tour guide…read more The restaurant has a unique vibe in that it's located in the same building as the Pour House. You can always grab a bite here and then head next door for some live jazz! That being said, the food was phenomenal. Everything is unapologetically spicy, so be prepared! We had the biang biang noodles, the lamb dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and the fried green beans. Everything was delicious but my favorite were the Biang Biang noodles. Honestly wish I had discovered this spot a day earlier as there were probably 6 other items that I wanted to try! lol I'd highly recommend it if you're in town.

The ambiance is very charming, making it a great spot for a casual yet elevated dinner. The Drink: We tried the traditional infused Baijiu for the first time. It's a concentrated liquor that packs a serious punch! It's served in a vessel smaller than a shot glass and meant to be sipped. One of the staff members shared the history and craft behind it, which made the experience feel like a genuine cultural exchange The Food: The Hot and Sour Mushrooms are the unsung heroes of the menu. They were earthy, tangy, and the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the fiery Cumin Lamb Noodles. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!
