The store was good, for several times we were visiting and we were allowed to bring our dogs into the store as long as we keep them in the cart. Suddenly we were not allowed to come into the store when the new manager came and stopped us. Since then we have not been going into the store because we felt uncomfortable being shut down at the door with our dogs when were originally allowed for a long time. read more

Place was fairly clean, security at door was very nice and helpful. Restroom was clean considering the miss placed items and not neat place. Good selection on teen items but poorly stocked with baby clothes 3mo-3t. We found affordable socks for our teen and some shorts on clearance for our 1yr old daughter. But for men nothing good. Long lines. They are looking for employees so maybe that explains the poorly stocked, miss placed items and long check out lines. Will not come back to this location. read more

I need to be very clear about what happened here because this experience was disturbing. At this Burlington location, customers are forced to enter and exit through a roped barrier system that immediately makes you feel confined. You cannot simply walk in or walk out. You are physically funneled into a controlled area, and in order to leave, you have to wait until a loss prevention employee notices you and opens the barrier. As shown in the photo, the employee wasn't even paying attention, and I had to actively get her attention just to be allowed to exit the store. That is not normal, and it is not okay. Walking in already felt wrong. I genuinely thought the store was closed because someone had to open the barrier for me to enter. That alone set off alarms. Walking out was worse. Standing there, blocked by a rope, waiting to be acknowledged so I could leave a public retail store felt degrading and uncomfortable. No customer should feel trapped, monitored, or controlled just to exit a store. Whether or not receipts are checked is irrelevant. The issue is the loss of basic autonomy. I should be able to come in and out freely, period. I am not blaming the employees personally. This is clearly a policy and leadership issue. But policies reflect the values of a business, and this setup says a lot. It communicates distrust, hostility, and a complete lack of respect for customers. I've shopped at Burlington for years and never experienced anything like this at older locations. This feels like a sharp decline in standards and customer dignity. This is not how a respectable business operates. The environment feels tense, unwelcoming, and frankly embarrassing for a retail brand. Being forced to wait for permission to leave made me feel lumped into a category I don't belong in, and I will not accept that treatment as a customer. This setup alone tells me everything I need to know about the direction of this store. People deserve to be warned. If you are okay with being herded into a barrier, waiting to be noticed, and feeling confined just to leave a store, then maybe this place won't bother you. For me, this experience was enough to make sure I don't come back. It's unacceptable, and it should seriously concern anyone who values being treated with basic respect. It's very unfortunate because like I said this Burlington in the old store was a staple growing up because of the selection and value. You can always find good deals. read more

Desperately needed a black coat to go with black slacks as I have to attend a wedding in three hours As soon as I walked in and went straight to the men's section, I could not believe my eyes, a black coat and what was ever better was that it was my exact size (56 regular). This was UNBELIEVABLE!! As I have been looking for a black coat for the past 24 hours and this was the only store that had exactly what I needed On the way out, I stopped to browse the men's colognes and I could not believe my eyes a second time, my favorite cologne (Kenneth Cole Reaction) was on a shelf at a price of $24.99. The same cologne I saw at another store just last night at a price of $108.99. Wow! Purchasing these two items sure put me in a great mood. Although the new store is a lot cleaner I prefer the old store better. This new store is smaller with limited merchandise options. The older store had more name brand options and better selection. Lines are always still long with limited cashiers. Workers are extremely slow , even with no one in line a simple return will always cost me 15-20 minutes. Their system is constantly down. There has been several times where I had to make a return and I was within my return window and they wouldn't allow me to get my original form of payment back. They would always only give the option of store credit. If you are in a hurry do not shop here, I would prefer to shop next door at Marshalls. Although Marshalls lines may seem long they move quick and their employees are better trained. read more

I used to love going to Burlington. But nowadays I really don't find what I used to. They still have a wide variety of things such as automotive, bath and body, furniture, clothes and electronics. However, the amount is getting shorter and shorter. Their stores look empty at times. Dressing rooms are closed. So that was the last straw for me. I have a gift card so when I use that, it'll be my last visit. I'm going to stick to marshals and th max if I'm looking for good deals. I hate to leave 3 stars for a place I once loved. As a 20-year-old mom balancing work, life, and school, I've spent the last year and a half working at this Burlington. Unfortunately, my experience has been marred by bullying and being forced out of my job. Mark, a nearly 30-year-old man, has painted me as a villain, spreading falsehoods about me and telling others that I dislike him and that he can't wait for me to leave. The situation has become so severe that hearing these lies caused me significant distress. If you suffer from anxiety (as I do), avoid this place; Mark doesn't believe anxiety is real thing! The supposed open-door policy is misleading--don't expect support from the store manager. Instead, your concerns might be used against you. This store and company don't care about their employees, despite what they might claim. They work you hard but don't give you sufficient hours, and when you ask for more, you only get excuses. We came to look for a jacket for my toddler. We happened to find one in her size for a great price. You can find some really good steals here, but you really have to look, since everything was a mess, and clothes aren't where they should be, since people don't always put it back where they found it originally. They had a lot of empty shelves when I came, but I like that they have a lot random things like snacks, pet supplies, home decor, and miscellaneous gadgets. I was at Burlington Eastland center today and witnessed a horrible encounter between a store manager and an employee who looked like she was at the end of her pregnancy. The manager told this girl that she has a 15 minute break for her to use the restroom. The girl then told the manager that she was having pain. The manager did not care and quickly disregarded what this girl had to say and continued to explain the break policy. I felt bad for this girl it looked like she does not know her rights as an employee. I hope this girl finds legal advice and this manager needs to be trained on how to handle certain situations. This is one of my favorite discount stores. They have a nice tops for work at decent prices. They also sell baby clothes at a better price than you'll find in Target or at Carters. The same exact clothes, for a good chunk of money off. It was also my number one stop for maternity clothes. I didn't want to break the bank trying to find clothes that I would only need for a few months. I was able to get 2 pairs of slacks for $10 each, jeans for $8, and nursing bras for $3. read more

How you rate this place depends entirely on what you are coming here for. If you want a well organized and manicures selection of clothing that is quick and easy to find then this is not the place for you. However, if you want a bargain on name brand clothes (think Calvin Klein type labels) and are willing to dig and hunt through the racks then honey this spot is right up your alley! I always come here for fancy church dresses for my daughters. They have everything from newborn to adult. The dresses I find would easily be $45-$60 at a dept store like Macy's and I get them for $12-$24. They are made of thick material and have heavy embroidery, beadwork, lace work, etc. the stitching is on point-- no wonky seams or patterns that don't line up. In addition, they have a pretty decent children's shoe section where I picked up a pair of kids Michael Korrs boots for $25. I have also purchased several Calvin Klein dresses for myself. They would retail around $85-$100 and I find them for $35-$45. I recently just picked up a pair of Ralph Lauren leather knee high boots for $30. I like this place mainly to get clothes for work. They're inexpensive yet stylish. What I don't care for is that their home section is not very good, and the lines are long. It's easy to spend 15 min in line on a weekday, forget going on a weekend. The dressing rooms are usually open so there's no waiting for that. Long ago, I shopped at BCF in northern California for jackets & of course, coats, and there were some great deals. Since relocating to southern California where winter feels like summer, my need for heavy outerwear just isn't a priority. Recently, I checked out this location for luggage. The prices are a lot more reasonable than Macy's, or even Target for that matter. They carry name brands like Samsonite, and also designer (possibly lower quality) names like Calvin Klein or Kenneth Cole. But the selection, at least to me was impressive. Very big possibility I'll end up buying it here, as the luggage section is more organized and bigger than the BCF in Arcadia. Strolled over to men's coats (time to update winter-wear) and saw many all weather jackets I really liked, from names like Guess or even Tumi. The problem... no mirrors! There are dozens of places where a mirror could have been useful, such as the many support columns strategically placed throughout the store, but none were present unless I walk across almost the entire store to the men's suits section and wait my turn. Wouldn't a mirror or two increase sales? What type of clothing store is this stingy with mirrors? It's like a restaurant with no menus. As much as I wanted to purchase 2 or 3 jackets, I left with nothing. However, I will be back for luggage, but jackets or coats, I don't think so. read more

This is my new go to Burlingtons. It's well stocked and organized compared to other Burlington stores. It's spacious and the layout is easy to find what you need. Parking is also pretty good. I look forward to coming back! read more

This is by far my favorite Burlington I've been to. I do come here frequently and I always find something good.. for the most part it is pretty organized in categories..the sizes are mixed a lot so it can get confusing.. the service can be good or bad depending on cashier.. now the reason for the 3 stars is,..this has happened to me not once, not twice but three different times where I find something good hidden all the way behind something else(usually something random) or I find something good and literally the price is missing like if someone took the time just to take of the price off... maybe once or twice I would think okay maybe it's a guest but it's happened more times so I'm starting to think the employees are doing it...other than that, would definitely recommend this Burlington, it's a pretty good size read more

Went in at 10am today. Only a couple people in store. I shopped quickly gathering a few blouses and jackets to try on. Made my way to the dressing rooms which are blocked off and presumably closed. I have NO idea why. So I still figure I'll try on the jackets at least and sought out a mirror to see how they fit. Could not find one mirror in the entire store! Not even by the hats. Who buys a hat without tying it on? I was so frustrated. How can a clothing store not allow you try on clothes or have a frigging mirror in the whole store. I asked the front security guard and he said he didn't know why the dressing rooms are closed. really? Loss prevention doesn't know why? I'm will NOT be shopping here again. Most Burlingtons are pretty unruly, but this one isn't so bad. I always find something here. They have a great selection of home goods. I have found numerous pictures for my house at $10-$30. I even found a large clock on clearance for $8! They have a great selection of curtain rods that extend to 120" for $15. A large amount of curtains as well. I've bought plush fur rugs here for $12 and they look chic, I use them as chair covers for my vanity. Makeup wipes for $4 a pack of 50. At Target they're around $8 or more. I buy shampoo, conditioner and body wash (all brand names) for less than $15. If you can stand to look around in here for an hour and a half or two, you will find great things. The mirror was $15 and I refinished it to make bronze. All amazing deals and the women at checkout are nice. I gave 4 stars because things have fallen on me numerous times off the shelves. read more

Came in to look for a coat for myself since the weather seems to not be looking like it's going to warm up any time soon. I haven't been to Burlington in long time (10+ years) so I wasn't prepared for it looking like a Ross. There was only one very small section for women's coats available. I found a trench coat that I liked and the price was reasonable so I purchased it but I am still on the hunt for a nice wool pea coat.
