Staff!! Needs to Shape Up -- Manager Saved the Day I came in for a simple oil change and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences I've had here. I want to be clear-- I love this Walmart. The store itself is always well-stocked, and the staff throughout the rest of the location are consistently helpful and friendly. That's exactly why this stood out so much. I waited about two and a half hours for my oil change. The wait itself wasn't the issue, I understand these things take time. What I cannot excuse is the complete lack of communication from the Auto Service Center staff. No updates, no acknowledgment, nothing. A little transparency goes a long way. I eventually asked to speak with the manager Jeff . He was an absolute gentleman respectful, professional, and went above and beyond by personally working on my truck himself. That told me everything. The standard is there; the problem is the staff not meeting it. The workers in that Auto Service Center need to shape up. The manager showed exactly how it should be done. If he can lead by example like that, there's no excuse for the rest of the team to fall so short. Do better -- your customers deserve it. read more

I am but almost anything I can imagine at this store, prices are ALWAYS very affordable, the selection of items I need and don't need is HUGE and the employees are always friendly, and helpful I love the scan and go feature as part of the Walmart+ membership. I simply scan my merchandise as I shop and when I am ready to check out, I scan my barcode at a specially designated check out counter/register and the balance due is deducted from my debit or credit card. No waiting in lines. Always a good experience when shopping at Walmart stores and/or online. read more

I wish I did not have to shop here as often as I do after today's experience. This morning I went to the customer service counter to return a few items. While waiting in line, an elderly woman ahead of me was on the phone with her daughter asking for guidance on how to process a money order. Her daughter was simply explaining the process to her. When the woman approached the counter, the cashier, TERRI, asked for her ID in an abrupt manner without any courtesy. TERRI then stated that she was refusing to process the transaction because the customer was on the phone. To my knowledge, there is nothing in Walmart's policy stating that a customer cannot be on the phone while purchasing a money order. It appeared to be a personal preference rather than an official policy. I spoke up because the elderly customer seemed confused and unaware of this supposed rule. I politely explained that she likely did not know about it and asked if they could please process the money order this one time. Terri declined. I then requested to speak with a manager in hopes that the situation could be resolved. Unfortunately, the manager, VANESSA, was not helpful. She stated that "by law" a person cannot be on the phone while processing a money order. This did not seem accurate. I again asked if they could make an exception since the customer was simply receiving guidance from her daughter and was unaware of this supposed rule. VANESSA declined and stated that because TERRI had already refused the transaction, she could not override the decision. During this entire interaction, I had my 10-month-old baby with me in the shopping cart. After realizing nothing was going to be done to help the customer, I accompanied the elderly woman to the market across the street to complete the money order there. Because of this experience, I did not finish my own shopping and instead chose to assist her so she would not encounter the same issue again. It was an unnecessary inconvenience for both of us to go to another store simply because TERRI and VANESSA refused to provide service. When I asked VANESSA for the district manager's contact information, she provided a number for the Walmart Baldwin pharmacy, which then had to redirect me to another department. Walmart should consider retraining employees on company policies so that customers receive consistent and respectful service. When we went to the other market, I asked their cashier whether they would refuse service to someone on the phone while purchasing a money order, and they confirmed that there is no rule or law prohibiting it. I frequently shop at this location and expect professional and respectful treatment for all customers. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that situations like this are handled more appropriately in the future. read more

You can improve by hiring people who have manners. Out of 6 walmart employees I encountered ONE actually spoke!!! The rest didn't bother to make eye contact with you or speak. Excuse me is still socially acceptable btw! I encountered 3 Walmart employee shoppers that almost ran me over or crossed in front of me without even bothering to say something. The girl at the self checkout I asked if I could pay with card. She didn't even bother to stop looking at her phone and just nodded but later was all laughs and giggles with her coworkers. The guy bringing in the carts, I personally took my cart to him and lined it up for him. He made sure not to make contact with me and just walked around me. my partner is a walmart+ member so we do take advantage of of pickup and delivery from this location and the glendora location. i much prefer the glendora location as this lot is shared with a few other businesses and the layout is a bit wacky. checkout can be difficult due to understaffing but the selection is quite grand. walmart unfortunately has a stronghold in product selection and price so it is convenient to visit for most. as far as walmarts go this location is fine. read more

Don't get your oil changed here unless you bring your own oil filter. You will be charged the same price. But the company they had used for the filters. Went out of business. I had to go get it at autozone. Drive back. They gave no discount for bringing my own. Which is not right. Won't come here again. read more

Date: October 13, 2025 Today, I went to Walmart to purchase some Play Doh. I could only find the individual containers, so I asked an employee named Aubrey (a female with short hair) if she could show me where the Play Doh in bulk was located. She told me they should be in the aisles, mentioned that things had been moved around because of Christmas, and said she was running late so she was busy. When I asked if she could please show me where in the aisle they were since I had already looked and couldn't find them she told me to "give her a second" and left. I waited for her for a while, but she never returned. Later, I saw her in another aisle and asked for her name. She did not apologize or acknowledge me, and simply ignored my request for further help. This behavior was very unprofessional. Even if an employee is busy, it's important to take a moment to assist customers properly or at least communicate clearly. Aubrey could have: * Politely explained that she would get someone else to help if she was occupied. * Let me know approximately how long she would be or directed me to a specific aisle or section. * Apologized for the delay or inconvenience. This situation could have been handled much better with basic customer service courtesy and communication. I recommend that Aubrey receive additional customer service training, especially regarding communication, follow-up, and professionalism when assisting customers. read more

This pharmacy is the worst!!! Came here to drop off a prescription, 72 hours later & RX was never even pulled from the Kaiser doctor. The girl that took down my prescription on the day dropped it off completely dropped the ball and never even attempted to contact the doctor. This is completely unacceptable. This Walmart is terrible. Tried returning a Christmas item on the 26th of December only 3 days after I purchased it and was denied. The day I bought the item before leaving the store I asked a random associate by the registers if I was okay to return the item if the person doesn't want it. She said yes just keep your receipt and return it before 90 days. Turns out the person I was gifting didn't want it. I tried returning to the store and was told by customer service that they don't return Christmas items after the season. So, not only was the initial associate that misinformed me, not trained properly, when calling the 1 800 customer service number I kept getting told by representatives that I will get called back in 48hours when they can get a hold of a store manager and they NEVER call back. I called customer service today and the lady on the phone tells me oh we don't handle in store situations I am not sure why those representatives told you that. I almost blew my top off because they had given me a case# making me believe they were actually going to do something productive. Their whole system is an absolute joke. Moral of the story.. ALWAYS get a name of who you speak with when you ask about return policy and don't bother going to this store. You can find way better customer service experience elsewhere. read more

I went back to re-torque the wheels after 50 miles (who does that right) and Javier came out promptly to assist. He re-torqued all the wheels with a smile during pouring rain. I parked and went inside to purchase turtle wax wash and wax spray and a steering wheel cover and saw once again Maria. She is such a great team member there. She asked who assisted me out there and before I answered, she said they are all great right? I had to agree. Great job Walmart! Management needs to recognize this department and its people. read more

This Walmart is clean and spacious. The pharmacy here is not so great with filling orders, the people working there are super nice but not sure why the orders aren't getting filled. The store cashiers are always nice and friendly and I've never had issues here at this Walmart. Overall a good experience. read more

Tania was super helpful and had great customer service. I came in to pay a bill, this is an authorized place to pay your Edison bill. Make sure you have your account number or your bill if you don't remember it. There was no line and it was so quick. If you have cash and want to pay in person it doesn't take long. Make sure you go to the customer center and they'll assist you. read more

They're still not answering the phone. The only way to get a human is to select pharmacy or vision center. And those people will tell you there are no phones, or they will say all the phones are down. Apparently Walmart does not care that they are greatly inconveniencing the employees in the vision center and Pharmacy - being inundated with calls from people who can't get through to anyone. The operator and customer service options... Absolutely never answer the phone. As for shopping at the store, I have no complaints. But the fact that not one person is given the responsibility to handle phone calls, is ridiculous for a company of this size. And the kind people in the vision center and Pharmacy are the ones who are interrupted, and even though they want to help people, they cannot. read more

I would give this rating a "0" if I could. I'm a regular customer of Walmart. I was shopping yesterday and wanted to know where the bird seed was located. I was walking toward the garden section and stopped at the sporting goods counter to I quite. There was an employee, female, white hair, glasses, and another younger employee telling a customer about a fishing license. I waited until the conversation had stopped. I asked the white hair lady where the bird seed was located. All of a sudden, she yelled at me and said, "I can't help you now."I'm busy." I was shocked. At this time, I was on my cell phone with my husband. He heard the yelling from the female employee, and he was livid. He asked me why the employee was yelling at me. I walked over to the garden section and found what I needed. My husband told me to get her name and infirm the manager. I walked back over to the sporting goods counter, but no one was there. I walked up one cashier and asked for a manager. He was polite and said he was at the next checkstand. I think his name was Mario. When I approached him, he seemed to have an attitude. I waited for him to finish up with a customer, and finally, he approached me. My husband was on the phone and wanted to speak with him. He wouldn't talk with him. I told him what had transpired and described the employee. He said it was vague. My busband was fuming on the phone. No one should be spoken to like that. I suggested to the manager that we go back to the sporting goods counter. We didn't wat to do that. All he said was that he would look into it. I realized that he wasn't going to do anything about it. Poor management l, poor attitude. I won't be returning to Walmart after this experience. read more

Since I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone I will voice my opinion on here. Associate Ruben has the worst attitude and poorest customer service I have seen in years. I don't get why he is allowed to talk to customers in this way. Unfortunately this is not the first time we had to call for assistance and unfortunately we keep getting Ruben. I know in retail customers can be demanding and difficult at times. But when you are simply asking for a product that is locked behind glass doors, unfortunately you have to ask for help. The service was horrible!! I waited over 20 minutes after several requests for the Sharpie case. While waiting on the aisle, I even called the store to talk to a manager. They didn't even answer. When the employee finally showed up, she was very unfriendly!! I went to customer service, and the lady didn't even acknowledge us. I asked the security man I usually see to page a manager. Went in to exchange some diapers that I received for my baby shower, older lady with ginger hair said we don't take returns without the receipt or the card it was paid with. I asked to speak to the manager and she got annoyed, the manager Priscilla came and I explained to her that I just wanted store credit to exchange them for the correct size and said she couldn't take it without the receipt or card it was paid with, as if I have to figure out what guest bought me the diapers and have them give me their card so I can exchange which stupid. Then said to try the walmart in Baldwin to return which is an absolute joke, she doesn't care about helping out customers she only cares about metrics, so instead of messing up her metrics and helping a customer they rather have you go to a different location that is ridiculous. read more

Guy in the electronics department working the register was very helpful around noon time on black friday. Not only did I get a great deal on a 75" TV but the worker brought it out to my car and helped me load it in and help me with bringing my return back in. Excellent customer service. Called customer support was told just to come to the store, park, and call the number posted on the parking bay. Well, I've called 5 times and no answer. I tried calling the store directly, no answer. I spoke to a crew member, no one knows what's going on. The crew member asked my name and said my order would be out shortly . The store is neat and well kept, however, that quickly fades when you get to the checkout counter. Their stupid payment device does not take your card. We tried over and over again and the first associate the other side of the counter ignored me when I told her the device wouldn't take our card. I wasn't in her "row", so forget it? We cancelled the sale and went to another line. The same thing happened, but another associate came up and all she could say was, "Don't you have any cash?". I arrived at 5:45 am to try to find some Needohs for my kid ! When I arrived I noticed a man standing waiting at the door I figured he was another person waiting to shop just like us. Then at 5:50am an employee inside opened up the doors and let a few other associates inside including the man at the door! Then at 6am the doors were open to the public my husband and I quickly but calmly walked over to the toy section and to our surprise the man was already in the same area with a basket scoping out the area. We only arrived at the toy section a few seconds before this man we picked out our 3 needohs and 2 squishy butters and walked away to another isle to continue our shopping ! Suddenly we see this man rushing down the aisle with his basket full of the rest of the Needoh and squishy merchandise ! My husband and I assumed "hmmmm there goes another scalper" we continued our shopping then went to the check out and on our way out the store we see the same man ! WEARING HIS WALMART LOST PREVENTION VEST ! He put all the product in his backpack and left the boxes in a cart near by! This feels so unfair and I wanted to spread awareness !!
