And this candy store was an easy find off the freeway exit. I followed the lollipops along the east side of a gas station. It was hidden behind the gas station. Lining the drive to the parking lot were pretty, tall pine trees. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking up to the door were family-friendly activities. A photo booth and wooden tables to play games, like checkers and jenga. Inside is clean and organized aisles of bulk candy. We came to look but did leave with a couple bottles of root beer and cans of Northern Soda company pop. The cashier wasn't too amused that I work in the same city that is manufactured in. I had also just gotten back from a trip to Wyoming and Montana and was on a Huckleberry high. I did find some Huckleberry flavored things there as well.

What happened next, makes Sweetly Kismet Candy Store even more amazing. When I returned home, I realized my watch was missing. I retraced my steps and called several places I had visited, no watch had been turned in. I called Sweetly Kismet Candy Store; Andy answered the phone and informed me that someone had turned in my watch. He then offered to mail my watch back. As we figured out all the logistics and decided on the mode of delivery, it was already Friday afternoon at 330 PM. This wonderful store and amazing employees said they were going to run it to the Post Office before it closed. I received notification an hour later that my package had been registered and was on its way. Highly recommend visiting for the wonderful sweets but know that there are dedicated employees that will give you the best customer service and care!

Although the candy itself was good, it was way overpriced. Just a few pieces of candy cost close to $20. The bottom line? Chocolate truffles were delicious. Decadent and full of rich chocolate flavor. The English toffee looked good as well. I may get that next time I revisit Duluth. Service needs a bit of a revamp though. It's a small little shoppe. She loves candy and so does grandpa - so we always stop at Sweeden Sweets when we're in town. This visit was more special than all the others as there was a very knowledgeable and kind man working the store (the owner?). He was so kind and so informative.
