I did look around and as I was thinking of replacing my Kate Spade bag that I use daily, the bags at NR were so plasticky, hard.. so even though prices were pretty decent, I'd rather shop at the KS for better selection.

Very close to all the train routes. Shelves are stocked and neatly organized for the most part. This spot is supposedly smaller than other locations in the city. But that's okay, at least I didn't see anything like toys lying on the floor. No kids running around. Clean aisles + brightly lit area + decently spacious to walk around on your own. Surprised to see some Squishmallows peeking out in between other plushies. So, I was trying to reach for the ones from the top shelf. Staff from afar saw me struggling to reach but didn't offer any help + kept looking on and went back to chatting/joking with a coworker. This was around 9:30pm on a Sunday evening. I guess just a minor hiccup there, I will let it pass. Customers can find a limited yet decent selection of things like electronics, groceries, beauty and skincare/makeup, hygiene related products etc in each of their specific sections/aisles. The designs on greeting cards looked lovely. Some things were on sale like cat food - $10 for 12 cans. You just gotta stroll around to find out. It's convenient to have a Target in Midtown/next to the major train lines. Maybe I will stop by again, hopefully the service from employees will be better next time.

They have a big variety of close outs and bargains you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else. They can sell things such as designer sunglasses that would cost you around $20 or more for just $1! They have all types of assorted personal and household items, as well as clothing at amazingly low prices. They also have all sorts of food items. Not everything is a big bargain but mostly it's all priced pretty well. If you know your prices you won't overpay, but keep in mind it's not ALL cheaper than you could find elsewhere. They have a lot of food items, although some of them are close to expiration, but often it doesn't matter at all since the expiration dates don't mean much and you can freeze things as well. They have a lot of cheeses at super bargain prices, and also chocolates that would cost you 3 times as much elsewhere. Chocolates don't really go bad quickly either. Overall it's a great place to check out if you are in the area and looking for some bargains and close outs!

They were genuinely kind, warm, and welcoming from the moment I walked up to the counter. They took their time helping me choose a candle and diffuser, answered all my questions, and gave me recommendations without ever making me feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. Acqua di Parma also had an artist there who could customize and hand-paint the candle, which made it feel even more special. Tamara and Darian helped me through the whole process and made sure I was happy with everything. What stood out to me most was how friendly and patient they were. It felt like they actually cared about helping me find something I would enjoy rather than just trying to make a sale. I also had an amazing experience with Rani at the Clinique counter. She went above and beyond helping me find the right foundation and shade for my skin. She was incredibly patient and made sure I was actually happy with what I chose. Experiences like this make me want to keep coming back to Bloomingdale's. I used to shop at Sephora a lot, but I've found that it can be more expensive for what I'm looking for and sometimes it's difficult to even find someone who has the time to really help you. I feel like department stores have gotten overlooked over the years with Sephora, Ulta, and other beauty stores expanding everywhere. I honestly forgot how much better the service and personalization can be at a department store. Having someone actually take their time with you and help you find what works for you makes such a difference. Thank you Tamara, Darian, and Rani for being so kind and making my experience feel personal. This is the kind of customer service that makes me want to keep coming back to Bloomingdale's 59th Street!

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.
