I just read the reviews from 2 days ago - 10 years ago. They all read the same. The lines are too long, clothes are not on the correct racks and there is clutter on the floors. I went to this location yesterday. But it didn't matter what line you made your purchases in since the line leading to the parking lot or the Mall were extremely long. I stood in the line leading to Mall which only had 2 cashiers. After a customer complained to a manger, she decided to work as a cashier but was only taking cards. I also notice a cashier let a group of people cut the line which felt like a slap in the face to those of us in line for over an hour! Unsure what is going on with this store but staffing needs some serious work. It obvious, if these reviews are being read someone doesn't care about their customers. I think I will avoid this store moving forward. read more

Spending 1&1/2 hours in line , with only 2 cashier's awful the line was long from the mall entrance to the road entrance other side. I didn't want to even give a 1 star but I had to . They have nice clothing I will say , but they got to do better with customer services. read more

Extremely SLOW! Lines are long due to no help and those that are working are slow! There are 14 customers in front of me and 10 behind me. Only 2 cashiers?!? Others are putting away returns or cleaning the fitting rooms This location has changed a lot since I last shopped here. The entrance from the parking lot near the registers used to be set as Home Good items but now it's a mixture of men's socks, shoes, hats and belts. Shopping carts are near the door. As I walked through everything has changed from the QUALITY of merchandise to the Availability of items. Shelves are empty and what's left is all picked over possibly returned items. The other location in Lilburn is set up the same way. Unknown if they're restocking or remodeling it's just a mess. I only have 2 items but I'm so tempted to put it back and shop elsewhere. Quite disappointed as it's nothing like it used to be. If you're in the area, check them out but I know for certain I will not and if so it will be passing through to get to the other stores . This location is at Discover Mill in Lawrenceville. read more

I went to use the bathroom which is located near the rear of the store. The bathroom was equipped with a keypad. I looked around in that area for a Sales Associate but, could not locate anyone. I proceeded to the front of the store and spoke to a cashier I asked her if someone could unlock the bathroom. She stated I have to find someone who works in that area. I told her there is no one back there. She then told the Security that I wanted to use the bathroom. He told me to go inside the mall and use their bathroom. As a patron and paying customer why would you tell a customer to go elsewhere. I will never shop in this store and I will definitely tell my friends and family about my experience to make sure they DON'T SHOP THERE. read more

Service; more open cash registers. The line was wrapped all around the store for only three open registers. My husband has been waiting for 15 minutes and has moved 5 feet. A friend of mine is a re-seller and likes to come here to purchase their clearance for re-sell. I'm not a regular Burlington Coat Factory shopper but whatever was going on when we were here-we want in. Every register was opened and people were lined up out near the door. This Burlington had a lot of athletic shoes such as Merrell, Adidas, and Puma shoes on final clearance. We were able to snag a pair of Merrell Closed toe sandals for $9. They looked liked they were a return but there weren't any signs it was worn. I like the price but I'm not sure if its a place I want to be shopping on a regular basis just because you really gotta dig through stuff to find a deal. Feels like work...but a good store to check out if you're into that kind or a reseller.... read more

This was a horrible experience. We waited over 40 minutes in line. There were two cashiers present and both of them didn't seem happy to do there job at all. I get this is a difficult time for so many of us, but if you show up to work, please be prepares to do your entire job. That would include not waling away from your register while 30 people are waiting to sort hangers. I was certain the woman in front of my was going to loose her nuggets. Please, please, please... if you come to work, decide you are going to be the best ____ you can be that day. It will make your day better and serve your customers better as well. read more

Make matters worse they don't have any public restroom so you can't even relieve yourself but they want you to spend money in this nasty place. If you find anything, good luck waiting through the 45 minute long checkout lines. At 5:45pm I find the fitting room closed. I ask what's the return policy because I'm going to buy the clothes, try them on in the restroom at the mall and return what doesn't fit. The store employee said I can't do that. Then....open your fitting rooms? Everything other people pointed out in other reviews is also apparent. This is a disappointment of a place that you come to if you are absolutely strapped for cash, everything else is closed, and you have an hour to kill in line. It's a last resort. Customer service is so horrible at all the retail shops. These young people just look at their phones and don't know how to acknowledge customers. The screen says to go to cash register 1. This place is quite large. If you have a need for clothes, housewares, or some random gifts then this place may be the spot for you. It has huge clearance sections in each department so if you have the time you can find some excellent deals. One of my purchases was a deadpool shirt with him riding a unicorn over a rainbow for 3 dollars. In my opinion it feels a little picked through and some of the merchandise is dirty. That's kind of a turn off to me. They also only had 2 lanes open at check out. The line took forever. I was able to get a nice jacket for 70.00 so that's a plus. I wouldn't rush to come here but if you have the time it might be worth it. read more

What a horrendous experience! The line (the only line) to checkout stretched across the store. How do they respond? They go from 4 checkout registers to 3. Rush hour in summer and there is ONE cashier on one side of the store with a line wrapping around the interior of the store and NO floor employees. Wait times are worse than amusement park rides on holiday. Security tag beepers going off in shoes and at exits. Outrageous! The store should not be operable if it cannot handle the customers coming in. It's also a safety issue for employees to be left alone in such a large store (and connected to a mall). You have 30 days to return". you wait in line 40 minutes to purchase and GUESS WHAT? when you bring the stuff back you HAVE to WAIT in another 40 minute line to return them. so your gas, your tim, and your frustration! Selection is okay. Very disorganized store. Service left to be desired. Store is open until 11 but the close one side by 7p. The manager guards the line like a security guard and is very rude. If a register lane is closed, maybe make it more apparent instead of blocking it off with a lot of junk in an already disorganized store. This left it hard to distinguish that the registers on that side were closed. Having one item and being forced to go to the complete opposite side of the store is frustrating. The only good thing about this place is the price... When people buy clothes, they want to put it up against their body to see how it looks and then they want to try it out in the fitting room. It is impossible to do that in this Burlington. There are no mirrors!!!! The only two or three mirrors that are available are located where the hats are... You HAVE to go to the fitting room to see how it looks on you. It is ridiculous! The employees always seem to be in a bad mood. I've never seen anyone smile. Not even when greeting a customer. If you want to buy clothes for a cheap price you should go. However, don't expect customers to be nice and don't look for a mirror outside of the fitting room. read more

I was scrolling down to see why this place only has about two stars at most.. come on people.. this place is similar to Ross. So don't expect too much. Also, you got to expect that everything's a mess in there.. just like a regular Ross (the one inside Sugarloaf Mills is always a mess). Just got to get used to it.. I guess. But if I had a horrible experience with the cash register person.. I wouldn't even bother doing the survey.. I guess I was in a good mood on that particular day.. can't remember why, though. The only thing I can tell you is DO NOT BUY THEIR HEAD PHONES!!! Why?? Because I bought them for my bro and the life span of it only lasted 2 weeks! That's why.. what a cheap piece of ****!! WTF is going on with the management of this place?? It could be the go to spot for discount stuff (especially baby stuff) but I get the feeling that the people running it really don't give a f*ck. Everything is disorganized, missing a price tag, and half or all the way stolen. The worst part however was the checkout experience. 2 banks of 7 registers on either end of the store, yet no more than two cashiers at each. The line was literally snaked around as far as it could go and then some with at least 50 people in line but it took literally 45 minutes to even get to the front. Also the same cashiers handle both check outs and returns which makes the process even more slow. That is unacceptable. I went to find an employee to see if there were more cashiers but her only answer was "There's more registers over there". Yeah...and the line is JUST as long so that doesn't help does it? I would have just left but this store is quite a hike from my house and being a one income family, I'm kind of limited in my spending options. Probably won't be back or if I do, I'll just order ahead and do curbside. read more

It was just me and a few sales associates not many customers. I guess they have more weekend shoppers. I was in/out. No problem with checkout. Came on a Black Friday to purchase a coat for my college going son who goes to school in NC. Selection was great but disorganized. The worst part about the trip was the checkout. There were only six registers at the most and the waiting line had some 30-40 people in it. We spent more time waiting to checkout than we did in making our clothing selection. For the quantity of people, the checkout definitely needs to be improved. read more

I know some people have reviewed that you shouldn't expect much from a cheap store, but the Buford location is organized and clean. I still shop at this location from time to time, because I do find good deals when I do. I just hate going to this one, because of it being so messy and it feeling like total chaos every time I go. My family and I tend to come here several times a month due to them having a good home selection but it isn't worth it if the last two times including this time. You get followed around the store by sale associates and watched from the next aisle over through the cracks of the shelves. Also the associate by the name of Hayla is the main one that will even come on the aisle you are and bump into you and not say a word just to act like she's fixing something on the shelf when it isn't anything wrong with it. When I did try, yes, try, to return it, they would not take it back because it had some cat hair in it. I had the receipt, and I was told if I were to leave, get a lint roller, clean it, and bring it back, I would have no trouble returning it. REALLY? HERE WE GO AGAIN! I was so proud of this store for finally turning things around, (completing renovations, adding extra registers and becoming more organized. However, things are starting to slip again. The racks are mess, the clothes are out of order, and they appeared to be understaffed, (They did have a big "We're Hiring" sign on display). The good news is that I did find a couple of men's suits at great prices. This is the one place that I can go and find great options for my very slim son and also my son in law. Neither of them are standard sizes so this place is great for options. As far as women's clothing, the quality is just not there. Their selections tend to be more cheap fad clothing instead of the basic wardrobe building components. Shoes are more miss than hit because the quality is just not there and much of what they have is cheap vinyl. This store really needs to seek qualified, committed management who are committed to making this store a better place to shop. read more

IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING WORKING/SHOPPING HERE...DON'T ! I had a serious issue happen to me multiple times while working in this location (which I reported every instance). It got to the point where I had to leave because I could not tolerate the situation any longer. I was not going to make a post on Yelp (or any other platform) but a close friend of mine went shopping there and had a negative experience. All I will say is that Burlington's policies are terrible and Sonya, the owner of this location, along with those responsible for training employees and creating the policies seem incompetent. It is no wonder why you lose workers and the pay is not even remotely worth it in my opinion. Add the fact that the customer service at times is terrible. The remodel gives the impression of organized spaces and better checkout. The clothing racks are a mess worse than ever! On the women's capri rack, there was not one pair of capris, only a mish-mash of all other types of clothes. There was a whole section of empty racks in the middle of the store. Men's area was no better. This was not a one time or end-of-the-day mess, as I have been visiting in hoped it was just the remodel not being complete. While I was there last night, someone brought a full rolling rack of clothing from the back. They were in no organizational order, to the point the shirts were mixed in with multiple types of pants. The girl just moved the whole rack of mixed items onto the skirt rack! I had great hope after the remodeling, but they need to have people organize the racks better either before, during or after hours...or why bother to have signs??? read more
