I was forced to come here, because I had bought an online purchase that said I could either mail back, or return to this store. So I decided to come here, even though I absolutely dread coming to the mall. I've actually never been to this mall before, either. I am actually not a fan of outlets. Some people love them, and I think they have lots of patience, because picking through a hodge-podge of clothing, etc is not my cup of tea. I like organization when I'm shopping, and not taking hours to pour through racks of clothes. This store did not seem organized to me, as far as the clothing goes, but they had a nice array of designer sunglasses. My daughter ran over and picked out this adorable cute mini backpack, and asked if she could have it. It was by Marc Jacobs for the low price of...$199! Ummm, no. It was definitely cute and stylish, but for my child, no way! I thought if that was a sign of their "deals", I'd rather not shop there anyway. Service at the register for my return went off without too much aggravation from either side. She was initially kind of perturbed I was doing a return online, but I managed to get a small from her at the end. I didn't get my shipping cost back, but it's still worth it to have returned. I really doubt I'd be back here. The location is undesirable for me, and the selection of clothes haphazardly strewn about on racks all over the place does not appeal to me either. read more

I bought pants at the Cabazon (CA) Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th and realized when I came to Georgia that the sensor was still on! I spoke with the friendly customer service in CA who advised me to go to any store to get it removed. I went to the regular Saks who said that the sensor is different from what they used. I wanted to try anyway before I made the 30-40 minute trek to Lawrenceville just to get the sensor off. When I finally made the journey to the store, I was immediately greeted by a nice staff member from the beauty department who referred me to a salesperson at the clothing department. I explained my situation. They knew I had just walked into the store but because I left the receipt at home, she brought it to the attention of a store manager whom I did not meet. She came back indicating that a tag inside the pants was cut off (I didn't cut it and don't know WHO did it). She said that their stores do not cut this off and hinted that I did not actually purchased it from an affiliate store. Instead, she said other stores like TJ Max routinely cut these off. I asked if they even have the tools to remove the sensor if I brought back proof that I did indeed PURCHASE the item. She never answered my question directly. Instead, she repeatedly said that they "do not mark their pants with those sensors". That did not tell me if it was worth me staying or returning to show proof of purchase. Since I could not get a straight answer, I immediately got on the phone with the manager at the Cabazon store to give them information to look up the evidence that I did indeed purchase my pants there. However, when CA rep wanted to outreach to the GA rep, the salesperson said that her manager just took his lunch break and won't be back for another 1.5 hours. He was the only one who would be able to help me. After 20 minutes or so of speaking to her and the agent in Cabazon, I decided to not waste any further time in the store. That is the last time I will ever visit that store. Thank goodness the Cabazon representatives on the other side of the country were more helpful. I sent them pictures of the receipt and had my credit card information to back up the fact that I did actually buy these pants. I would have preferred to get the sensor removed in GA where I am at but I will be mailing my pants to CA to get the sensor removed. I'm more confident that they will be more helpful. read more

I RARELY get greeted when I come in this store location. Really. I can only recall being asked if I needed any assistance one time, and I've been in here more than the check in counts on Yelp. The store was fairly clean and well organized. They recently changed their store layout (the back side of the store) so things are a tad different. I believe they expanded their shoes collection during this expansion. Overall an okay place. The employees could use a training session on how to make customers feel more welcomed though. read more

Looking for bargains at this outlet store. Came across some really nice items, both men/women clothing for my daughter and a few things for my dad and uncle, both celebrate Dec bdays. You really have to look through the merchandise somethings looked to be worn and returned or even trampled on from the floor. Everything I purchased was marked down and was worth it. There was a shirt for my dad that was missing a button, I didn't care I wanted it. The nice lady cashier took off more because of the button missing. GREAT AFTER CHRISTMAS BARGAINS! I didn't really have a favorable review of this place during my previous visit but this time was different. I only takes one good purchase to brighten my day. Today was my lucky day because they had a great selection of leather bags by one of my favorite designers. Yay! I spent much of my time in the accessories, (bags) department today where they had shoulder bags, clutches, multi-colored and color blocked, back packs and more. The selection was varied and I was able to find two bags that I really liked, one in navy and one in black. I really like Minkoff bags because they are more likely to be structured which means a dressier aesthetic. Her bags are also perfectly sized, not too small or too large and are always constructed with quality leathers. Each bag came with a long strap so that the bag can be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bags. This store has a crazy amount of designer sunglasses with great designs and colors. They are not just about aesthetics, but are a very nice quality and fit. I really did not get to check them out until after I had cleared the purchase line but I really liked what I saw and will be exploring more on my next visit. If you are looking for black clothing from head to toe, this is your store. This is definitely a New York store because they were representing the black in mighty way. I love this season's faux fur trend because a little fur goes a long way when it comes to dressing up an item. They have plenty of fur trimmed items (vests, sweaters, wraps etc) , still available. Now is the time to take advantage of their red tag sale for even greater savings. The shoe department was a bit disappointing because they seemed to have a greater number of trending boots that were either too high, (heels), or in suede or black. Being a Sak's I expect more. Being Off 5th, I can understand. They use to carry more options in here but lately, I just can't seem to find anything different than the norm. They have recently rearragned the store moving men's shoes closer to the outside door and men's suits from one end to the other. They don't even carry men's colonge but plenty of women's fragrances. This was a good spot to shop back in the day, but it has lost its flavor. I still run across some interesting items but its either neither in my size or something I can find somewhere else like a TJ Maxx or Marshall. I should shop more at those places. The shoes were my goto item of choice coming to this store. That is actually the main reason I still visit here. Let's go Saks! Get some appeal about you. They do have a good selection of of sunglasses here. They always email out coupons. This is a love fading to hate relationship with this store. I must say, the b*tchness comes out of me when people that works at an outlet thinks they're pretentious. I always shop here because it's just down the street from me and it's convenient when there's a fashion emergency from my closet. My friends til this day, will refuse to ever let that happen again. So I bought a coat there and decided that I didn't want to keep it because it didn't fit me comfortably. I had a good deal on it but what's a deal if they really don't do anything for you except collect dust? Went to return the coat, got in line, the jack*ss behind the counter, knew and saw me waiting my turn for service, just stood there. Made no eye contact with me to give me the sign that he's open... until I finally just asked him nicely but loudly so he can hear... Then he waved me over. I handed him the coat, he grabbed it from over the counter and started shaking it as if I'm returning dirt. I ignored his ignorance and put the receipt on the counter and he literally just snatched it right in front of me. Then he slammed the pen on the counter and threw the receipt for me to sign. I signed it and slammed the pen on the counter so hard it fell from the top counter to the bottom counter to the floor - everybody was looking. I gave him the FU look and walked away. I don't know if he was having a bad day or just plain rude, but for somebody who works at an outlet part-time and probably making minimum wage with his 2 ct. cubic zirconium, he should be kissing ass for commissions. read more

This is not one of the better Off Fifth's I have seen. Maybe it is because it has the horrible misfortune of being located in Discover Mills Mall or maybe because there are a few Saks outlets in GA so they have to share the goods... regardless... I am not a fan. The jeans selection is decent but other than that there is not much in the contemporary section. Where is the Marc by MJ that you carry in your full line store? Many of the lines carried at this store are lines that are not even carried at their full line stores. The women's section all together is lacking unless you have a severe obsession with Ellen Tracy because that seems to be all they carry. I will admit that the accessories section is a little drool worthy. They have a good selection of designer sunglasses (Diesel, Prada, Kate, DG) and their handbags are decent. read more

I bought a pair of shoes here that looked a bit scuffed up on the bottom (probably from being tried on in store), but it was pretty unnoticeable, and I still thought they were still nice. I intended to give them as a gift, but they were too small for the intended recipient. They were never officially used or walked around in. When I went to return them the next day, I was told to go the bathroom and clean them because they had a negligible amount of dirt on the bottom, which had been there when I bought them. The associate said they weren't in resaleable condition (quite the ironic comment, given this was the exact condition I had bought them in). Absolutely ridiculous. There have been a couple times that I found something but they didn't have it in my size and they order it all and it gets shipped to my house for free. Well, normally I am not bothered by snobby sales people, but some things just get to me. I came to return an item that I got online, and after standing in line for a while, the sales person said that computer glitch of some sort saying she cannot accept the return. I asked for a manager, first she claimed that she is one of them, then called the real manager. I asked for store credit since i was planning to shop anyways, he asked the sales person to call "customer service", cause I guess they don't know what that is at this store. Let me start by saying that customer service is almost non-existent at this store. I went to this location a few days ago with an acquaintance. She bought a pair of jeans in California while she was visiting from Atlanta, but the staff at that store forgot to remove the magnetic security sensor off the merchandise. My friend didn't notice until much later. She called the store after she got back to Georgia and they told her to go to any Saks location to get it removed. Well, we came to this location at Sugarloaf Mills and were greeted by a very nice employee who, after my friend explained the situation, guided us to another employee at the returns station. After the first employee explained my friend's predicament to the returns employee, my friend was asked if she had a receipt to show her purchase was valid. My friend lives about 40 minutes from this location and forgot to bring her receipt. She explained the situation to the employee and we were told to wait a minute for the manager. The same employee returned, with an attitude, and said that she will try to look it up by my friend's credit card transaction history in their system. For whatever reason, the system was not pulling up any information and after 3 swipes, my friend decided to call the CA location for help. She then told my friend that these jeans were most likely bought at TJ Maxx or Marshall's and not their store, even though, my friend said that she will call the CA location to confirm her purchase was valid. The employee then left to help other customers without saying anything to us. The employee later returned and seemed very agitated and annoyed that we were still waiting for her to help us out. We asked if we could see the manager, and she told us that he's out on lunch and won't be back until 4. By then it was about 2:30 in the afternoon. That's a very long lunch, but I digress. My friend was on the phone with the other store for about 20 minutes while they were looking her information up and then transferring her to their manager, who seemed to be more helpful over the phone than the lady in the store where we actually were. The CA store manager told my friend that she could mail in her jeans and they will remove the sensor. We never really got any help from the employee at this store and she didn't ask us what the manager of the CA store said. We decided to leave. I highly doubt I'll be returning to this location again. read more

For some reason all employees working in the makeup section are just plain mean and even when you smile at them they never ever smile back. Buying something? Forget about hearing a "thank you", or even having having an eye contact with you. I will never shop at this place again employees are very snobby and inconsiderate when it comes to helping people unless they know that you are purchasing items. I live in Atlanta; my 4 sisters came to visit; I took them to OFF 5th Saks Fifth Avenue at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. One of my sisters saw a skirt she decided she wanted after she returned to AL. She called and asked if they would hold the item. Of course it was explained that items are only held for 2 hours. However, because she was coming from out of town (AL) the sales associate agreed to hold it until 1:00 pm the next day. My husband goes out to get the item and it was gone. Here's the insensitive part! I called the store and asked what happened; of course no one knew. I explained to the salesperson my concerns of the 30+ miles drive to get the item and it's gone and no offer of compensation such as coupon or something. She spoke with her manager and came back to say it's nothing we can do, "These things happen," in a sarcastic demeanor. Never again! read more

Supervisor by the name of Beverly was very rude to me and unprofessional in her job. Saks Off 5th have a terrible return policy and this same lady told me Saks Off 5th makes it hard for customers to turn items. Keep you receipts because if you don't, you have lost your money. Macy's, Nordstrom Rack, Neiman Marcus Last Call, all have a fantastic return policies of 90 days; they even figure out how to accommodate you without a receipt and even return your shipping cost. Saks Off Fifth do nothing to assist you; except give you attitude. They are horrible. I am a new shopper there and I have decided I won't be shopping Saks Off Fifth anymore. All items were purchased online; I received a used, worn looking leather jacket that is badly discolored throughout jacket. Beverly needs to retire are be put in the back behind a desk; but she does not need to deal with customers on a personal level. The customer service is horrible at this location and all the ladies there just walk around in 5" heels in short mini dresses, heavy lipstick and perfume so strong it will flare your allergies up. They look like street walkers instead of professional customer service ladies. Won't be going back there or shopping at Saks Off Fifth. read more
