A lot of styles seem to have a southern flare and are for suitable for middle age (30's-40's) women. If you're looking for a nice blouse, some weekend jeans, or maybe an oversized jersey dress, this is the place. You won't find any club clothes here, only good wholesome pieces, lol. Honestly, I found the prices to be typical "boutique" prices. Dresses $38, jeans $39, and tops $28+. Not cheap when compared to Marshall's, but ideal for some quality pieces. I came in to make a return and was instantly met with smiles and prompt service. The employee told me to look around at current sales but wasn't at all pushy. There were several busy employees within the store doing what looked like an inventory or stocking but every last one of them that came within a few feet of me greeted me. I'd give 5 stars if I felt like the selection wasn't low for such a large space. Maybe that's what the staff were busy working on, but it didn't help me in the moment as far as selection. I decided to look around after and found 2 sweaters on clearance. I've always loved Gap for their high quality materials, they're not like the other "disposable" clothing stores where you wear the item once and it's never the same again. The lady that took care of my returns and rang me up was so nice, and the gentlemen employee also standing at the counter thanked me for making a purchase. I'm between Regular and Plus, and I easily find items that not only fit well, but look great and are fun to wear. I came to the check out and started trying to engage the teller in conversation. Never in my life have I ever felt as if not only she wasn't interested but also as if it were a chore to be dealing with me. Her attitude was absolutely disgusting. Fast forward to Thursday and I try once again to go to the shop and give a small black owned business some support. There once again is the same lady, and as soon as I walked in I felt extremely unwanted. I was in my normal work hoodie with the Carvana logo. The looks I was given, the tone to her voice and just the over all cold shoulder I received was why I walked out empty handed. I really wish I had been made to feel differently because there were several items I would of bought. I don't know the owner but I don't feel as though she wanted someone who looked like me in her upscale shop.
