THIS STORE! UGHHH every time you go, there will always be a long line... even when it isn't busy. maybe 20% of employees are busy and working efficiently... But what really annoys me though is that there will always be only 2 or 3 registers open even when crowded and the cashiers in general will constantly move in slow motion... they're constantly stopping what they are doing to talk to each other... even in the middle of checking customers out. On my last visit there were maybe 8 ppl in front of me and it took over 40 minutes for me to pay. Only one of the two cashiers was actually trying to ring ppl up in a timely manner. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. Do yourself a favor and use that 40 minutes you will potentially lose to go to a different store. read more

The merchandise they had in there reminded me of the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Walmart has better clothes than this Burlington . This was extremely disappointing as I have been waiting for this store to open. They didn't have very much merchandise let alone anything I would buy. read more

This store is truly disgusting. If you can avoid this location, please do at all cost, you can not shop at all in this store there is stuff everywhere and on the floor shelfs piled up with items, items being opened and left . There are barely workers and with one customer it can take up to 10 minutes if buying maybe 2 items at best 4 items!!!! No one greets you no one try's to help nothing. This is one messy store! It is located in the Lauderhill Mall. I was in need of a winter jacket for an upcoming trip to Canada and this is pretty much the only place I thought might have what I was looking for at an affordable price. I was not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a jacket. We came on Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy. AND MESSY! They had an after Christmas clearance event, or it may not have been an event, but there was lots of markdowns throughout the store. On the jackets section, there's no heads or tails to it. All styles, sizes, etc are bundled together, and half of the jackets are on the floor. It was a challenge find the right one. We did. I doesn't even look like it's messy from the day's customers, it just seem like the staff shoves things on the shelves without worrying about sizes, or even if the item belongs in that section, just to get them off the floor. I did browsed all the tables with sale items and wound up buying a few things. They do have great prices, but it's just so overwhelming to navigate the racks, that I mostly come for what I need and leave. Customer service is lacking, workers are rude, and cashiers move very slowly even when they have twenty people in line. No urgency whatsoever. This isn't the worst place to shop, but there are far better. I would be back if I am in need of something, not to this location though, I have one closer in Coral Springs that isn't as messy read more

I did see several Calvin Klein dresses that I saw a Macy's for $99.99 and they were in Burlington for $39.99! There was even a dress that I bought in Macy's less than a month ago for $99 and it was in Burlington for $39.99. There are good values there if you're willing to look. read more

Simply put, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE transcends any bigoted epithet used to describe a shopping experience in this store. I shopped one morning shortly after 930am open time. I saw only two employees on the floor, and one had a loss prevention vest. I had to chase down the other worker who had a pink duster who was in stealth mode quickly whisking between aisles, avoiding customers, sticking the duster between the clothing as she scurried along. I felt like that video game where you corner a mouse in a haunted house. I finally caught up to her and asked her where the gloves were located. We don't have gloves, she said as she disappeared into housewares. Really? A Burlington Coat Factory that doesn't carry gloves? It just got worse at the counter. I was trying to buy a lovely hat for an upcoming bridal tea; the hat had a slight tear near the inner band and some foundation makeup smudges directly on that band, and I was willing to pay for it because I knew I could fix it I easily. Long story short, I have never been given a harder time about buying something damaged by a sales associate. The SA even argued with manager about selling it to me, the SA wanted to "debit" it, basically meaning to write it off then trash it. She even damaged the hat more by picking at the tear! I had to tell her to stop picking at the tear on the hat, I was going to fix that! I told her to put final sale on the receipt because she kept saying I might try bringing it back for a refund. The manager authorized 50% off, but not before almost being convinced by Ms. SA. to deny the sale. Really? Eventually another sales associate at another register with discount capability finalized my purchase. THAT SA was balancing the registers till so I had to wait another 10 min. At least she was sympathetic and said didn't understand why the other SA gave me such a hard time about the hat. Overall, the incident aside, compared to all the other BCF stores I have visited, this store has the least satisfactory inventory IMHO. No gloves? Tsk tsk tsk. Glad I hung in there and got my hat, but NEVER AGAIN LAKES BCF. Maybe it's OK for some, but my CS experience blech. read more

NEGATIVE FUCKING ZEROOOOO all these workers all lazy af I tired to buy some Jeans and shorts and I told the caisher lady I really wanna try them on so I can know if they fit good. She then told me dressing rooms are closed they're all close everywhere and I'm like no they aren't not at the mall. I took my clothes and everything let my cart up front took only the clothes I brought to the bathroom to try it on and I come back to customer service I'm like I'm not taking these. He then tells me "I need to see your receipt" and I started looking in my purse bag every where nun so I told him "I don't think she gave me one he calls the manager then she tells me "oh we need your receipt to do the refund" and I'm like "I don't think she have me one I literally just brought them" she was talking to the guy in the side like questioning him and he wanna shrug his shoulders like he didn't she me clearly standing in line purchasing my stuff. It was crazy they really was tryna make it seem like I was stealing I'm just like ask your caisher I literally just brought them not even 8 mins ago that experience was disgusting. So I went to go buy a coat; they had maybe 20 coats in the entire store!!! So now we can't buy coats anymore in South FLA!

Let me start off by saying that I love sopping at Burlington, but this particular store is one that I try to avoid. I was at the register checking out my items and watched a women who walked in not too long after me, walk out with a rug, pillows, and comforter set without paying for them. This store's security wasn't at the door as he was supposed to be, as a matter of fact I have never even seen a security at the door. The lines are always long and the cashiers seem miserable. This store will not see me again! I don't feel safe going there knowing people can steal so easily. The management team needs professional training and the cashiers need motivation. This store is the worst. Recently just took a purchase off layaway and the items haven't even been off the floor 2 weeks and yet Burlington's policy is if the items have been off floor for more than 30 days then you will get a store credit. However not in this case.. Less than two weeks I returned to the store to pay for items in full and didn't get the time to try on the items because the line was so long. Moving along I took the items home and not everything fit the way I was hoping for it to. So I spoke with a manager from the store by the name of Diana ( who also hung up on me while taking to her and placed me on constant holds), and she told me that if the items have been off the floor for 30 days then I will get a store credit but in my case they haven't been gone for that long. Dianna told me to contact corporate because I was asking her questions which she seemed not to know and figured I have a point. But overall, I purchased the items from the Lauderdale Lakes location and tried returning it at the same location and the service that I received from beginning to the middle was horrible. Notice I didn't say the end because last resort is corporate so if that experience was horrible..... well please know that I will be back to give my feedback to finalize this review. Thanks. Worst Burlington I've gone to. For one, this individual named Ann followed me from the second I came in and even when I took my girl's clothes into the ladies fitting rooms since it was a lot. It's common sense to carry your girls stuff while she's shopping around but it's plain out rude and unnecessary to state the obvious. I walked into the ladies fitting room section and was handing my girl her things to try on and I would wait outside of the rooms and have her come out with each dress. Ann felt it was necessary to say over and over that this was a lady's fitting room and that I needed to wait outside. No shit dumbass. This is what pissed me off. I knew that it was a girls fitting room and that I needed to wait outside. You don't need to state the obvious Ya dumbass. A suggestion. Stop following customers around thinking they're gonna steal. We're all not alike or like you. Ann looked like she herself steals and had no reason to harass my girl and I more than once while in the store. I hope this isn't the same in other Burlington's around the area. Burlington needs to show this person how to do proper customer service and how to be polite. Never again. read more

Me and my mother went to Burlington in coral springs it was a Sunday afternoon . As we are getting out of her car we walked to the doors and we smelled urine I was already so grossed out about the smell that I wanted to leave. As we walk inside of the doors it's the smell gets worse me and my mother go look at the shoes they had barely any shoes and most of them were ugly and just not right and practical. As we are walking To look at the comforters and bedspreads I noticed that there is a big empty large space. With no furniture or any items there which I thought was really weird. And most of the items were on the floor backpacks shirts pants just everything . We saw the comforter is in the bedspreads and they had a very limited option most of them we're very plain or. Old looking I found one that I liked And we bought it. Any of the comforters/bedspreads did not come with a fitted sheet or pillowcases so I thought that was very odd so we had to go to target and Walmart to see if they had any fitted sheet and pillowcases that would match the bedspread which I thought was very unnecessary . As we got home and was putting the bedspread onto the bed I noticed that there was a really bad smell it I noticed that there was a really bad smell it didn't smell like P but it smelled very bad it was very strong I noticed that the smell wasn't going away after a few minutes And they noticed that there was a stain on it it looks like p or a cardboard staying but I wasn't sure so I washed everything that it came in and they put the pillows that came with outside decorative the decorative pillows were pretty but not the best and held the smell in the most after I washed it I noticed that there is no bad smell and the state have gone away but I was still very concerned why there was a stain. . And a really bad smell coming to conclusion I was not very happy about that experience at the Coral Springs Mall highly would never recommend going this was the first time I ever bought a bedspread at Burlington I always buy them at target because I can trust that they will be clean the place will be very well kept and not smelling bad or even like urine and target does usually come with a fitted sheet never going again!!! read more
