My son was punched by a girl until she was tired obviously the teacher was away for most of her class. Before this altercation my son was getting bullied by some boy in the same class. I went to ask for the principal or a counselor. They told me to fill out some documents and they will get back to me. I told them my son will not be attending school until this matter is resolved. It has been over a week. I am prior service and was rated by the performance of the soldier under me. If this school is a reflection of our schools superintendent, he/her is not earning their pay.

Tyrone told the principal exactly what happened and identified the four students involved\. The principal took the situation seriously\. The school contacted the students' parents and made sure Tyrone had support. The next day, Tyrone walked back into school nervous but determined\. The school has done very well accommodating her IEP, and when I had issues they addressed them in a timely manner. The only problem we struggle with now is the no cell phone law. I don't agree with no cell phones. I know it's a state law but I don't feel my child is protected. She has severe anxiety and wears headphones and listens to music, so I got her an mp3 player this year. It helps but if she needs me she has to either go to nurse or email me. Until violence in our schools is controlled, I think cell phones should be allowed! Teachers can manage cell phone usage in classrooms. Even most teachers disagree with the cell phone ban.

I was in the special needs class and the teacher for the B.A.S.E program at that time was Mr, harwell and he treated me horribly. I was constantly getting bullied and the teachers didn't even seem to care. they would not let me bring my phone to school so i can listen to music while i worked. They would not let me on my chromebook to work they made me do paper work and when i was on my chromebook they made me use a projector so they can watch what i was doing because of an incident that happened at burleson high. I was so embaressed and every time i went to school there it was a total disgrace. It made me feel like I am less of a human and it made me feel like i was a total piece of sh*t.

They didn't credit us because we over paid the one week we were there. My autistic son, who tends to repeat things, not on purpose, now keeps reminding us *very often* that he knows the middle finger. The younger 3 year old class was AWESOME for my youngest, I really liked his teacher! But the school age class was awful and the whole situation was handled POORLY. They need another teacher to the ratio or one who can monitor all the children and stop bullying. My sons have been to school and church class - NO problems.. but now?

My 3 kids having been gone these last few months, I have had one kicked out and another kicked out at the end of October by the owner. She instead of teaching kids right from wrong does not carry the insurance if something was to happen to our kids to cover it, so instead she throws them out. She does not respect her workers to the point it's taken out on our kids. Took my kids to another center and they love it and their behavior has been ten times better.
