The school has done very well accommodating her IEP, and when I had issues they addressed them in a timely manner. The only problem we struggle with now is the no cell phone law. I don't agree with no cell phones. I know it's a state law but I don't feel my child is protected. She has severe anxiety and wears headphones and listens to music, so I got her an mp3 player this year. It helps but if she needs me she has to either go to nurse or email me. Until violence in our schools is controlled, I think cell phones should be allowed! Teachers can manage cell phone usage in classrooms. Even most teachers disagree with the cell phone ban.

There are plenty of kids here who deserve a better education from respectable staff. And I state firmly the staff here does maintain true respect and responsibility. The glamor is only skin deep. A polite smile. I believe some staff deserve to be legally held accountable. Luckily the poor kids at the office cover all that up. If only most of the money didnt go into a poor building that leans.
