Fast seating and service. But a lengthy wait for the food - but it looks amazing. Lots of choices Get here early for the specials (they sell out fast) Pepsi products (no zeros) Sweet Tea is tasty Monte Cristo (missing the powdered sugar) (also missed the opportunity for a special cherry jam to replace the raspberry (although it was quite good)). Fries are an upcharge

Last minute decision to eat here as our first option had a long wait and the second was not open on Sunday. The parking lot was really crowded but there was still plenty of room inside and there is also outdoor seating right by the lake. The view is very nice. Server was prompt and friendly. It took a long time for the food to arrive, but everything was hot and the order was correct and hot. My wings were good. They serve Pepsi products. The water tastes gross so order a drink.

Lunch with a view. We were visiting Cadillac for a color tour to enjoy the Fall colors. Wanted to sit and watch the water while we had lunch. Found this great restaurant between lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchell. Full bar, full menu and a view. Win win. We asked to be seated outside on the deck. There was a couple with a dog and the restaurant offered a drink bowl for the pup. How sweet. Our waitresses Jaelei was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. When we ordered drinks Rick helped and our drinks were never empty. The food was fresh, smelled and tasted great. Beautiful fall day in the Mitten to stop and take it all in.

Fantastic view inside at the lake! Even saw a cute cat that the restaurant feeds and has a warm house outside for! Five stars alone just for that . I ordered the country skillet and it came out flawless, we're staying at a hotel a few minutes away skiing and I couldn't have picked a better breakfast place. Bloody Mary was good too a little spicy though if you're sensitive ask for no hot sauce. Servers Hailey and jailey were great :) . Will be back here our next trip to Caberfae!

This was the prices we paid for things. Definitely won't be returning here and will be warning the people I know not to either.

If I could give this less than 1, I would. The food is overpriced, extremely so. The wait staff was short tempered. The restaurant is pretty but generic. Nothing too special here. I wouldn't waste your money as there are much better options in Cadillac. We ordered the PO boy sandwich - there was 1 piece of fish on a large chunk of bread. It came with burnt chips and a pickle. Definitely not worth the money. The fish is unseasoned as well. I had the French onion soup as well. Not good. The flavoring is lacking and they forgot it so it came after I was almost finished eating my meal and then I didn't eat it because it was lackluster. Two of my children got the French onion burger. And paid 4.50 extra for them to both get onion rings. There were 5 small burnt onion rings on the plate. One meal we sent back completely, the other my child attempted to eat until there was something hard in it as well as the server reaching over to grab a glass and touching my child's burger, so that went unfinished as well. My mother ordered the BLT and the chicken dumpling soup, and my other child had the cheese curds. Again nothing good to say about any of these items. They were lackluster in flavor as well as the portions being very small for what they charge. They need to up their game here. The food is not worth the money as well as the staff being rude and untrained. I've been in the service industry for over 20 years and this place needs some serious work.

Burke's is the most tremendous place in town, might I say Michigan for food, view and great people. Special shoutout to the sweet cute waitress that has waited on me and my friends for the past hmm 3 years. She runs everywhere she goes for a speedy delivery... forget Jimmy John's this girl is the real deal!

Nice spot for breakfast along the water. We were seated at a window seat overlooking the pond, with a view of the lake across the street. This place could use an update but at the same time I liked the old school charm. The Farmers omelet was a gut buster packed with veggies, hash browns and breakfast meats covered in sausage gravy. Our other dish was corned beef and eggs which was served hot but the biscuit and gravy was not as hot as it should have been. Our server was wonderful. All in all a good spot for breakfast. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and also a Friday Fish Fry.

    Biscuits and Gravy. good!

I recently commented on a $15.00 breakfast at Chef Jarod's and Company that is literally less than 30 second drive and 2 minute walk from each other. Look at the picture and for the same price you decide. You can substitute the biscuits and gravy with pancakes if you wish too. Eggs cooked perfectly to order. Coffee cup continuously filled. This is a busy diner and the wait at the door is well worth it.

Much like the small, quaint little places of yesteryear. Typical diner decorations, typical diner servers, and typical diner patrons. This was textbook. It was super busy when I got there, but by the time I left there was probably a 10-15 minute wait at the door. But you know these breakfast places keep takin' 'em in and puttin' 'em out. Since I absolutely despise anything where all my breakfast foods are mushed together (pizzas, burritos, omelets, scrambles, hitches, macros, and fizzles), I opted for the more traditional route of "food on a plate, maybe touching a little bit." It's kind of like the difference between kissing cousins and married cousins. This episode of breakfast will be brought to you by: chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, American potatoes, bacon, and toast. Special guest, chocolate milk. I'm a little trollop for chicken fried steak. Or really anything fried with a layer of gravy. This one wasn't bad. Had decent flavor, gravy portioning was good. I would welcome it back like a close friend. The eggs were good as well. Since my body can only consume scrambled eggs, anytime they aren't runny or have that weird cooked-too-long skin on them is a win in my book. I would embrace them again like a long lost relative. The American potatoes (or how I always have to ask for them because I can never remember the name "those little potatoes that are chunks"), were good with the ketchup. Cooked the way they were supposed to be. I would sit next to them again on a bus. The bacon. Oh, the bacon. If you're a breakfast place and serve bacon, this will make you or break you in my eyes. The hardest thing I have ever found so far are restaurants that claim to know how to do floppy bacon. Limp bacon. Soggy bacon. Whatever you want to call it. They always claim they know how, then they bring out bacon I could harpoon a fish with. I want bacon I can tie together like shoelaces. Sadly, this bacon missed the mark. I would turn this bacon away at the door. Ultimately, it was a breakfast place. It did what it set out to do. Chocolate milk 10/10 Made up breakfast foods 3/3 Flaccid bacon 5/10

And don't leave without trying a slice of their famous pie. We were tipped off by the waitress that the buttermilk and berry pies are the crowd favorites, and I can see why! If you're a pie person, don't miss. Food-wise, it's classic Michigan fare. The chicken and rice soup of the day was exactly what you'd expect--simple, no-frills, but satisfying. I also tried the quiche of the day, which came with a fruit cup (not the freshest fruit ever, but no complaints here) and a homemade scone that was delicious!
