We came in sat down. everything was going great, waitress was nice, but 2 other people came in after us and ordered, they both got their food before us and we ordered roughly the same things. A beautiful view and worth the visit. However we did have some problems with both the food and the service. We were a party of 12 so that always makes service difficult ---but it became ridiculous. The first 9 of the group got their food in about 20 minutes. One person had ordered the London Broil and it was terribly tough and was sent back for a hamburger. The others were happy with their meal. The remaining three then waited more than 30 minutes for their food. One person had ordered ribs and the other two had ordered the shrimp casino. No logical reason why they should have been delayed for that long. When I did get the shrimp casino it was delicious. So the lesson must be go here as a smaller group or stay away. read more

I cannot believe this is the first time I have eaten here! I heard this place is under new management and I was thoroughly impressed. Cadillac Grill was by far, my worst restaurant experience ever. From the moment my wife was asked if she wanted green beans instead of soup or salad for her starter, to being over charged for the soup and the manager refusing to fix the mistake. To start with, I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered a chicken lemon pasta both with the clam chowder. The clam chowder was clearly Campbell's soup with pieces of imatation krab and chives to "fancy it up". I knew the marsala was going to be different but didn't think it would be what it was. It was THE MOST overcooked chicken I've ever eaten in my life. I think they were trying to punish it for being raw at one point. The marsala sauce was a brown gravy with a little marsala wine mixed in. The mashed potatoes were those instant flake ones you get at the dollar store. Why would anyone willingly pay $16 for this?? My wife's meal fared no better. Her pasta was overcooked to the point of falling apart. The sauce was an oil based sauce that just left your mouth coated in oil. The chicken in that was the same with mine, overcooked beyond belief. The asparagus was mushy... have you ever had mushy asparagus?!? We ended up having to pay $45 for the meal that should have cost the price of a cheap buffet (if that). This was an insult to the people coming out to visit. I hate people who are all "entitled" to everything but when you pay $45 you should get something equal to or greater than that. They have horrible menu descriptions and staff that doesn't know the menu. I ordered "New Orleans BBQ shrimp" which said something like sautéed shrimp in New Orleans style sauce. So I thought not breaded and gluten free. Came in a scalding hot boat that had been in the window while the rest of my tables steaks cooked. The bbq was cooked down to just grease. Oh and it didn't mention the four garlic toasts that came submerged in the BBQ sauce that was now separated oil. Then we ordered poorly described desert that we were told was ice cream chocolate sauce and nuts, came loaded with brownie bites. I'm gluten free, and find it just lazy for a sever to not know what ingredients she's selling. Not impressed, especially having a decade of food service under my belt. read more

The food was terrible! I ordered chicken parmesan. The chicken had an awful flavor, more like burnt toast than a parmesan breading and the pasta was cold and tasted liked 2 day old leftovers out of the fridge. My husband's steak didn't even taste like beef and his baked mac and cheese was just nasty. The building and the view are beautiful. It's too bad that the food resembles dumpster diving and is not even close to what you would expect from the setting. read more

Mediocre service and the food was actually TERRIBLE!!! My sister saw our food sitting in the window 10 mins before she brought it to the table. Of course it was cold (pizza burgers) her kids food still was not at the table and all he wanted was a turkey sandwich with melted cheese that's it.. when she saw them put his food in the window (7:33 later, she timed it) nobody was around so she walked up and got it herself. My dad's food came late and by the time our mom's food came she didn't even want it cause of how long it took, everyone else was done eating at ready to go. The food was overcooked. The scene is what stole the show. The staff was friendly and it has great party events.

The food is good and the view is awesome. The dinningroom which is mostly glass overlooks the gulf course. A stunning view and a great meal. My favorite is the dinner shrimp. Cooked to prefection and always served hot and fresh. There lunches are great as well. I have a group that meets there once a month for lunch and they do a excellent job. The wait staff is courtious and always on the ball. The specials are always a treat as well. Prices are very reasonable, you won't want to miss this place. In the past, I've had good experiences at the Cadillac Grill (including a visit last winter with 25+ people). That was not the case in my recent visit. I was again with a large group- we had made reservations but clearly they were not staffed for us. We waited 90 minutes for our entrees, a few orders were done incorrectly, and no explanation was given for the delay. The servers were polite and apologetic, but overall the visit was a fiasco. I don't know what changed here in the past 6 months, but I won't be back. read more
