When I walked in, I was struck by how it looks like a store as well as a restaurant -- and, indeed, they do sell candy, jellies and jams, wine, and it looked like they had a fridge in back with beer. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted; everything looked good. I ended up getting the rib sandwich -- basically a pulled pork sandwich. I really enjoyed it. They obviously don't care about keeping their restaurant clean or about serving food that customers actually like and they're proud to serve. $52 for two sandwiches and two drinks. We are locals here to Cadillac and I will never stop foot in this place again. We've been here once before and we left because we didn't even have anybody come and wait on us after we were seated. I don't know why we went back this time, but we won't be going again. Yet I am so very happy we went. Mary the bartender (and Elk of the Year) was so sweet. She was full of fabulous information about the lodge and even gave us a tour. The food was fabulous as well.
