One of my favorite stores inside this mall is La Catrina Mexican Shop. They also have a candy store with piñata and other goodies as well as a free play area for toddlers and kiddos with a few mats and a mini slide. Other stores that are still open for business are an event hall, barber shop, two to three food spots in the food court area, a play area for kiddos that you pay for, clothing stores and a few others. The only downside is it appears to get a tad warm but definitely nothing in comparison to the heat outside the few times I've visited, but other than that, it's nice to walk around, get your steps in, shop around etc. A lot of people tend to go here to do a few laps whether it's walking or power walking, and I've also walked around with my stroller. The hallway to the restrooms looks like something from a horror movie, but other than at least the restrooms are functional.Oh and their elevator hasn't been working for a while now. I'm not sure if it's been fixed but just a heads up. So ,I highly recommend parking by the movie theater.

There are a lot of walkers here who like to come here and exercise indoors where there is air condition and barely any people around. I have not seen security or staff other than inside the store. It reminds me of the movie Backrooms lol. I was told this mall used to be packed with businesses and people, but it's sad to see this place dying. I would recommend coming here once to see what I'm talking about, but if you aren't into vacant and quiet places, then I wouldn't even come.

I spoke with the Security Guard and he said, the mall has already been sold but Dillards is not closing. He has not heard anything and he hasn't been told anything. From what I saw the store looks pretty good. They changed the layout. Most of the clothes are on the racks and they are sectioned off. They have a huge selection of seasonal items. They have a few people working the floor that are rolling out the Clothes. The Employees seem to be dressed nice and kept to themselves? I'm glad the Dillards Clearance Center is staying put. However, costumes are very interesting.There were tons of costumes to chose from! Everything from Friday the 13th to Toy Story! Whatever you can think of it was there! There was like ten people in the store and employees wore their surgical like masks.As it got later, more people started to arrive. Bright festive Orange rolling carts are available as you walk in. Their carpet is old and patched up.It needs replacing.The carpet had a good amount of visible trash on the floor. It needed to be picked up. Their cashier was observing the store while another stocked up the store. It seems like, they have more inventory that has not been put out yet because, there were some boxes tucked away near the entrance. There were sassy talking over-sized mechanical clowns that were around a walk through chamber. It was almost like a free haunted house! Last year, they were right next to Home Zone furniture on Ridgmar Meadow Road. In my opinion is was better. The atmosphere was different. The employees were stoked! They were dressed in there costumes and business was booming! I remember, there was a line to try on costumes. I'm not sure, if you can try on a costume because, of Covid. My how times have changed.
