Stopped in Teskey's looking for a black hat and somehow walked out with a blue one -- no regrets. It was busy but not chaotic, and I appreciated that employees weren't swarming me. I went to the hat shaping queen herself, Bailey, and gave her my best attempt at explaining what I wanted. I'm honestly surprised she didn't need a translator for what I was trying to describe, but within about 20 minutes it was exactly how I pictured. Even with me asking what were probably some dumb questions, she only gave me a smile and a clear explanation every time. I can't say Teskey's is my all-around favorite shop, but Bailey is my favorite hat shaper -- so this is where I'll be getting my hats suppose. Pizza out side smelled pretty good too. read more

Great place! Kind of a grown-up Disney world for all things western! I needed a custom gun belt repair and they accommodated for a good price. They give veterans discount too. Great Selection!! Don't own any horses but went to check it out, was not disappointed! Lots of farm toys for kids and selection of toy horses as well. Great thick leather dog collars ($20 for large dog size), best quality I've seen in awhile. Waaaay better than PetsMart or even Hollywood Feed. Clothing area is Fantastic!! Located on the eastern end with its own exterior entry doors or you can go from the main area inside through glass doors as well. All the good brands and several others that Boot Barn and Cavenders DONT have. Wrangler, Ariat, Cinch, Patagonia, Kuhl, North Face. Board shorts/summer wear upstairs as well. Not a huge area for kids clothes/boots, pretty good amount (currently) for girls though. Not as many shirts for boys or smaller toddlers but that's expected at many places. read more

I found a ranch saddle I love at Teskey's. Very pretty and comfortable, if a bit heavy. That's not so surprising for a working saddle you could rope with if need be, though. Teskey's has everything a horse lover can ask for. Hundreds of saddles, pads, bridles, bits and all the trimmings. Lots of beautiful clothes (but very pricy), kids toys and books, lots of gift ideas. They even have a big section for the english rider with boots, shirts, riding breeches, etc. The only issue I have with them is the same that a lot of reviewers have stated, the girls at the registers are really unhappy. Excited to finally get to check this place out! It's pretty neat! About 60% of it is a tack store. Lots of saddles both used and new. We designed one custom, a Martin Saddle, since our daughter won it at a youth rodeo and had a certificate. (Thanks Teskey's!) Tons of bits, saddle pads, bridles, reins, ropes, etc. Many different brands. Large, well organized assortment of all. The other part of the store is western wear. It's very well arranged and classically laid out. Something you don't always see these days!! And the buyers for this store are very savy to up and coming western styles. It's packed with lots of choices and things you don't see everywhere you go. Brands like: Olathe Anderson Bean Sanuks Toms Under Armour Vera Bradley Minnetonka Old Gringo Consuela Hurley Ariats Cruel Girl Big Star *i think* Lots of serape and fringe!!! Lots of designer jeans as well! A selection for both young styles & tastes as well as older. I'm married to a team roper and have two kids that youth rodeo. I got a pair of Twisted X Hooey slip-on shoes for Christmas and didn't try them on (they were my size). Fast forward to March, weather getting nice and want to wear my cute serape slip-in's. They are too big! Contacted Teskey's and got an immediate response from Lacy. No problem. She got some info from me, she helped me determine what size I needed, provided a pre-paid return label and shipped out a new pair. Lacy is, in a word, was delightful. Helpful and friendly. New shoes came and the are perfect! Can't say enough about the level of service I received. Amazing. Teskey's is more than a saddle shop, they have it all! My brother and I finally got to stop by and check the place out and we weren't at all disappointed. They have hundreds of guns, knifes, outdoor accessories for the avid marksman and much, much more including several top of the line outerwear which does indeed come with a price. There are two buildings, the smaller one has the guns and lots of cool clothes, coolers, gadgets, and hats (lots of hats). The other is like a boutique of sorts. Boots, western wear, candles, and really anything you can think of. I really enjoyed wandering and shopping around while I was here. The service was great too. Everyone I met with was extremely nice and helpful. The prices were pretty high but this place offers top of line everything, so come prepared. We were just in the saddle and tack side and there is an issue with you're people that run the registers. Bad attitudes and hateful. Telling me, after I stood there and waited while one person blatantly ignored me and went to put food in her mouth and chit chat with another person, that I had to go to the end of the line over there(pointing to no line whatsoever). Maybe you should think about marking you lines when you decide to make this new rule. First time this has happened I your store since we've been there and spent thousands of dollars on tack, saddles, clothing etc. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, someone else did the same thing I had done and the were not told the same as me...go to the end of the line. GOOD OLE BOYS NETWORK MUCH? I'll rethink spending my money in Teskey's. Not that you care because most people don't anymore. Very, very disappointed! read more

What's their not to love about their selection? The store is well laid out, you can pretty much any tack you need. Their clothes are unique and different from the norm. Only one knock is that the staff isn't very friendly. You're doing good if they acknowledge you've walked through the door, more than likely if you have a question you won't be getting an answer. read more

Teskey's Cafe. Don't miss it. There is so much to see at Teskey's. Really cool western store, but you have to stop and grab a bite at the cafe. This place is a MUST try if you are over in Weatherford! Breakfast or Lunch. The breakfast is so cheap! I love the french toast, biscuits and gravy, and the home fries. The home fries are not on the menu, and they take a little longer to cook, but they are so worth the wait! My favorite lunch item is the patty melt. Which I never would have thought to try, but a friend ordered it and it sounded good. Now I am addicted! It is yummy Texas toast, nice burger patty, with some type of melted white cheese, grilled onions, and a delicious chipotle sauce. Yummy! The babies like these cheeseburger baskets. Fresh cut potatoe fries, like homemade. Mom the best! Their salads look great, but haven't tried them yet. Teskey's is a horseman's dream... everything under the sun you could want if you had a horse- saddles, ropes, portraits of guys on horses, yep, just about everything- AND there's a small cafe. The food in the cafe is limited, just sandwiches and burgers, but very fresh and friendly. They are only open for lunch. A few other positives: -a cowgirl's fashion heaven, plus a few items that appealed to this city-slicker. One of the few places that carries both English and Western tack and equipment. We love coming here, in fact we drive down from Wichita Falls just to visit this store. They have a huge selection of western and a decent English section. It's just too bad hardly any of the staff understands the English section and the women at the front ringing you up are rude about it. Between the incompetence in the English section and the long wait while they hand write up every item you purchase I think I'll stick to NRS and Dover. I bought a headstall and slobber straps online. Both made by Teskey's. Bit basket stamped. Both chestnut color. I did not expect a perfect match, but something close. Color and stamping was way off. I wouldn't have returned either item but the headstall had loose stitching and the leather was separating. Had to pay shipping charges to return the items. Paid $11.20 in shipping and have nothing to show for it. Will not be purchasing from them again. read more
