I usually like going into belk, since I am an elite cardholder there, but will not be returning after the experience I had the other day. I needed some help in the jewelry department and they sent over this woman named Alisha. She would give me attitude every time I wanted to look at different pieces of jewelry, and didn't want to help me at all. I felt as if I was inconveniencing her, for wanting to look at jewelry as a customer. I will not be returning,because of her horrible attitude, as if the customers are such an inconvenience. This Belk usually has great customer service. Went in with my mom today so she could get shoes. Kelsi in the shoe department was not very helpful at all. She didn't know her product and her answers were always "I don't know," or an answer followed by "I think." No completely confident answers. We stopped to talk to Rose in Clinique (we were standing in the shoe area right across from the counter) and she offered to help us. Rose knew more than Kelsi did. She checked prices for us and when we eventually checked out with her, she even double checked to make sure everything in the shoeboxes was right. Great job, Rose! You were awesome! read more

only reason this place gets two stars is because of the customer service. Definitely unbeatable. Sadly, this store is always a mess. You find a great shirt for your kid, but it is the wrong size, so you try to find the rest of them...GOOD LUCK! The kids section looks like it is ran by children, it is a hot mess ALL the time. My husband went in to fix my ring for the SECOND time, within the next TWO HOURS one of my diamonds has fallen out again. Since they are so small it would be impossible to relocate. Highly doubt these women are professionals, since they can't seem to fix one measly diamond in my ring. We have ultimately given up on this store, and we will take our business elsewhere for all other inquiries. I highly suggest anyone else reading this review to do the same. read more

Belk has many clothes to choose from. They have high end, to cheap products, modern styles to styles for the older woman. They always have racks and racks of items marked 25-70% off. The only complaint I have is the mess that is always under the racks and in the dressing rooms. They are obviously short staffed, because the young ladies are always busy at the registers and attempting to clean up the mess. read more

I went in today to shop and had found a few stocking stuffers. I wanted to stop by the Clinique counter and grab some foundation. I know exactly what type and color of foundation and was hoping to just grab it really quick and be on my way. There were two women in front of me and two sales representatives assisting them. I thought "Great, this won't take long!" One of the sales reps finished her sale and then looked at a man that had JUST wandered up to the counter and she said "Do you need help?" and left to assist him in men's clothing. This really ticked me off! The other customer in line in front me was shopping and experimenting with new cosmetics. When she sat down in the make up chair and the sales representative began applying makeup, I knew she wasn't going to be finishing up anytime soon. I set down my stocking stuffers and walked out without buying ONE THING!! You lost a sale because of incredibly bad customer service. I guess I'll stop at Macy's tomorrow when I'm in Fort Worth to make my purchase. Maybe they will want my business! read more
