I love their wide variety of Barbour items, although my wallet does not! The store is impeccably tidy. Everything was neatly hung and folded. I could easily find my size and I swear not a single item was wrinkled! Lauren helped me with my purchase and she was so nice! She was very friendly without being overbearing and I really appreciated her warm welcome. We chatted for a few minutes and it was like meeting a new friend! After a staff lunch one day one of my coworkers convinced us to take a detour to Keeping Up with the Joneses before we headed back to work. I am so glad I did. This little shop is the perfect size. It's small, quaint, and has just enough to browse without being overwhelming. We started with the clearance rack outside and the clothes were so cute! The sales are really good! One of my coworkers scored a gorgeous blue and white work dress and a pink and coral lace dress for a wedding reception--both on sale for $50! They had some cute white shirts with black printed sayings on them. I got two that said "Chanel and Champagne" although I was really in love with the "You had me at Merlot" shirt. They just didn't have it in my size. :-( The sizes available go up to size 14. If you look hard enough you can find some items in XXL, but the selection is small, so keep an open mind. I plan to regularly stop by to see what is on sale and maybe fall in love with more of their clothes. I spotted some gorgeous dresses and tops, but again my size wasn't available. There's a small fitting room in the shop. It's located in the back of the store, which is also where Aria Salt is (they share the space). One thing that I really love is that the material of the clothes felt thick and durable. You can tell the clothes are well made and will last. The owner was friendly and helpful, giving tips on what kind of shoes went with my coworker's dresses and ringing us up quickly. I also scored two large stemless wine glasses for 50% off each. The best shop with the nicest sales associates in the entire Clearfork shopping center! In the…read moremidst of moving with a closet full of clothes packed up and just casual clothes to wear out, with a baby and husband in tow, many stores in the area disappointed with their judgmental air and snobby associates. I walked into Johnny Was and immediately felt comfortable. The sales associate working (sorry I didn't catch her name! Middle-aged, short hair, very sweet!) immediately made me feel welcomed. She greeted my husband and baby, and explained how only a select number of samples in each style were on the rack, but more sizes in the back and she was happy to start a fitting room. She was engaged through my shopping experience without being pushy. I was looking for a particular style of dress, and couldn't find a color I liked. She went to the back and found a dress that fit the description and color, and brought it back in two sizes to try on! I fell in love with a particular kimono while browsing, but after seeing the price tag decided to move on. My husband saw my face light up when I saw it, and how I moved on after looking at the tag. While I was in the dressing room I heard him and the sales associate whispering (trying to figure out which one it was) and sure enough when I came out she was holding it for me to try on. Once she showed me that it was reversible I was sold! Another younger associate helped place my items in a garment bag while I checked out with my kimono and two dresses. She even made sure I got one of their cute little reusable shopping bags even though my purchase went in a garment bag. I was happy to give them $3200 for a great shopping experience and beautiful clothes!

This is totally on me but I wouldn't have bought it if I had tried it on due to the odd fit of the long sleeve green and black plaid. It has these pockets that come up so high I couldn't imagine them being functional for anyone as they fall on my ribs not hips where pockets should be and when washed the sleeves shrink up a bit making it where you have to roll the sleeves unless you were it under a jacket because you get high water sleeves lol. Probably would go back if I'm in Weatherford again but not going back just for this store.
