This is a Wal Mart unlike any other, same box, same wrapping. Just the inside is arranged slightly different than others. I went in to find lancets for my wife's blood sugar meter, however this location had ZERO of anything related to blood sugar monitors, meters, or supplies. It was a bit disappointing. The entry is right on one of the busiest streets, it's a bear to get in and out of. One point of note that I found really interesting, they have DRONES at this location. Delivery drones on the south end of the building, they look like little ariplanes, one was flying. Several stations were empty, so I don't know if they are actually delivering or if they are testing. If you are a man in Weatherford Walmart you have to wait for someone to open the glass doors get your razor or hair dye and take it to the register for you to pay for it. This specific Walmart is getting worse and worse by the "improvements" they are making. My family never goes to this Walmart, we drive the extra 10 minutes to the Hudson oaks Walmart now, the customer service is better, theirs more then 4 cashier check out lanes, and I've never had a bad experience there. That being said, me and my sister went in to go get lip balm and hair dye, we went down the elf cosmetics aisle and the entire left side of the aisle was locked, we waited at least 8 minutes for a worker to arrive, she was having trouble getting the case to unlock, she walked us to an aisle over because she wasn't allowed to hand me the 0.21oz lip balm, she struggled to put it in this massive lock box and had to get another workers help to put the lip balm in a case, finally got to a check out lane just for the lady to ask ANOTHER worker to get it unlocked because she didn't have a key for it. Mind you we went down the toy aisles and nothing was locked, there were multiple toys unblocked sitting on the floor. Also had to walk out of the door on the opposite side of the front of the store because of the way the new self check out system is set up and the left side of the store was having some sorta of mechanic team working on their ice machine. I understand locking everything up but what makes you think only those products are what's gonna get stollen when you have an entire store full of other shit that people will Absolutelyyy pocket. read more

If I could give them no star I would!! DO NOT DO CURBSIDE HERE!!! On two separate occasions my eggs were broken. Today 7 out of 18 were broken. My big hand soap bottle looked like it had been dropped several times! I checked in today to let them know I was there, received a message saying my groceries would be out shortly. Shortly my ass!!!!! After three calls inside to the store and 53 minutes later, they come out!!!!! These people don't care what your groceries look like!!! PITIFUL!!! I go to the Walmart in Weatherford all the time and like it for the most part, but you need to check expiration dates on everything. Especially dairy products. I have purchased dairy on three occasions that where past the best by date and all were either already sour or went bad within a day or two of buying. On the positive side, I for one, do like the self check out. I much prefer bagging my own groceries because I like to keep frozen with frozen, cans with cans, etc. The self check out scanners have gotten much better over time. read more

I wanted to get food and a few household items so I ventured out to the local Walmart super center in Weatherford. I was not real thrilled that the shelves were bare on a Monday afternoon however the produce was well stocked. All the employees were super friendly and it was a great time of the week (Monday afternoon) to go. Not very crowded. I was able to find most of the items on my list so all and all it was a positive experience. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the lack of items on the shelves and a bit messy. read more

Way to go Walmart! Convert all of the cash registers except 6 to self checkout, then never have more than one cashier working, no many how many paying customers are in line. I am currently #7, but I'll be damned if I'm going to be forced to ring up and sack my purchases so you can hire fewer cashiers. It's already nearly impossible to get assistance in this store. We went to this Walmart on Wednesday (12/18/2020) night looking for a particular gift. We went to the toy section and then electronics. Didn't see it anywhere. We then spoke with Travis in electronics and he looked everywhere with us. Online showed several in stock and he confirmed that. We do not live that close to this Walmart either. There just happen to be freight from a recent truck on the sales floor and Travis started to open up some cases on the pallet to check for us and boom there they were. Most Walmarts we go to if the associates do not see it on the shelf they blow us off but with Travis being the awesome associate he is we found what we needed and didn't have to search around anymore. Travis deserves some recognition from Walmart for his great attitude and just being a great guy. We will be back because of Travis. Walmart needs more people like Travis. read more

Do not recommend. Went to this store 7/14/2020. State is blowing up with COVID, County is under mandatory masking order & half of the customers in the store did not wear masks or follow directional markers & employees did nothing. Some wore their masks under their chins. Avoid this store until they figure out how to protect their customers. Azle Walmart does a better job. read more

This Walmart is horrible. Today I was checking out with almost $200 of groceries and at the end of my transaction she said the card reader wasn't working but I could use their ATM for a $6 fee. As I sit here in the past 1 1/2 hours waiting for an oil change to be completed, I listened to the cashier Tracy tell several customers that the posted oil change prices are starting prices although the posted signs don't say that. She says this because all the customers are complaining of their final bill for oil change has been significantly more than what's posted; namely semisynthetic oil change. The first of the three customers fought it and got an adjustment on his bill but the last two just scratched their heads, paid their bill, and probably won't come back again. i'll probably do the same thing when it's my turn; don't come back. I usually shop at the Hudson Oaks store but went to this location since running errands in that part of town. Store updates are nice but several items that I can ordinarily get at the Hudson Oaks store are not available in this location. Parking lot is always such a nightmare. Employees not the best. Gave the checker a $3.00 off coupon and shame on me for trusting that she entered it but I was frustrated that the customer behind me was encroaching into my payment space. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I wasn't given the coupon credit. Called the store and the lady answering the phone kept calling me "sweetheart", and "awww, I know you must be frustrated, sweetheart" (Ya think????? And, don't call me sweetheart!) Then I spoke with the asst. mgr and although he did apologize and said he'd check into it-I don't have the $3.00 off coupon and I didn't get the credit. The parking lot alone is enough to keep me away from the store but due to employees I'll be driving back to the Hudson Oaks location. read more

I was recently in the S. Main St. Location of Weatherford, Tx. After leaving I got home to realize that over half of my items were not in the bags that I had been given. I called the store and was transferred twice before reaching the correct dept. I explained the situation to the woman on the other end who stated that if the missing items were turned in to customer service than she could log them into the book and the items would be returned to me. I asked what if the items have not been returned and she stated that "if the cashier didn't bring them up here, them you (I) must have left the store with them." To me this sounds an awful lot like an insinuation. She then laughed and said "I'm sorry, you'd be outta luck." I asked if it would be possible for her to please send someone to the register to check for my items as I lived 16 miles away and that it would be fruitless for me to drive that far for items that may not be there. She told me there was no one available to send and that I would just need to bring my receipt to the store. Again I explained to her that living so far I would want to know that my items were there to be returned before I drove all the way to the store and that surely someone could check the register if I have her the receipt info. She told me that she was the only person available. I then asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me. Hoping that it had been a mistake I called back and asked to whom I was speaking. The woman refused to identify herself after I nicely repeated my question 3 times. And then she hung up on me again. I then called the store and asked directly for a manager from the operator. I spoke with Assistant manager Nick who was very pleasant and apologetic. He stated that he had indeed not heard a request for assistance over the intercom (because none had been made) from the customer service and that there were on fact 3 assistant managers on duty who are there to help, and he would have been available if such an intercom announcement had been made. He made sure to have a CSM available when I arrived. Upon arrival the CSM was not helpful and kept insisting that the conversation did not happen as I had described, she kept repeating that she had been told by Tracey (the employee that kept hanging up on me) that Tracey had immediately offered to take care of my situation. Tracey did not once offer to take care of the situation. She only ever said that "IF my items had been turned into customer service, they would be returned." But would not help me to find out if they were because "she "could not leave the register, and no one else was available." If she had said that she would make things right to begin with, I would not have needed to asked her to send someone to the register, I would not have asked her speak with a manager, and I would not be writing these words. The CSM finally agreed to let me speak with Tracey's manager, but instead handed me over to assistant manager Stacy. Stacy was very sweet, and very concerned over what had happen. I believe she did a superb job at handling the situation. I know have the name of the employee who I believe is deserving of some sort of reprimand. (Would an apology be too much to ask for, for being insulted, and having her lie to her superiors?) I also have the name of Tracey's direct supervisor and his direct supervisor. I intend to keep writing letters until some sort of satisfaction is reached. To me, this is beyond a few missing items. What could have been solved in a short phone call, or correct wording has now become a personal insult. I will retain the receipt, the screen shot of my multiple phone calls, and the names given for the parties involved. read more
