The Pharmacy is the worst I've ever been to. Two months in a row they delayed my prescriptions. I sat on hold on the phone multiple times for 20-30 minutes being told that my medication would be ready. Days go by. I call and get the same story. I had to switch pharmacies as I went 5 days without medication and got sick. I recommend Walgreens in Hudson Oaks. After the week long wait in Weatherford I was able to get through on the phone to Hudson Oaks and my medication was ready within minutes. read more

don't use the photo dept. had an order for a christmas gift, and half of it printed blank. the lady at the photo department was not helpful, didn't offer any solutions/refunds etc. and told me to just resubmit an order. keep in mind this was not a very cheap order. was very disappointed. read more

I was released from the hospital after having a total knee replacement and my doctor called in three prescriptions to Walgreens (South Main, Weatherford). When we arrived to pick the prescriptions up, we were told our insurance had put a "hold" on them. Needing the medication and needing to get home, the only option was to pay cash for the three prescriptions (a total of $168.78). Later I called my insurance company and the representative from Humana stayed on the line with me for over an hour as we tried to explain to Walgreens what had happened and get a refund for me. And by the way, Humana said they APPROVED the medication, and there was no reason for Walgreens to charge me full price. Walgreens simply did not file a claim, according to Humana. Long story short...I was contacted by a "district manager" of Walgreens out of Fort Worth who promised to check into things and get with me "tomorrow". That was over 3 weeks ago and I have tried and tried to get back in touch with this lady (who didn't give me her name). First she was out with a family emergency, then she was in meetings, then she wasn't in her "home store" today but "we'll get a message to her to call you". Still - no response, no refund. I'm out over $168, have filed the paperwork with Walgreens and have tried to get back in touch with this phantom "district manager". Poor corporate culture, it seems to me. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know what has happened to their customer service over the past couple of years, but it is one of the worst pharmacies I have had to deal with. My provider sent over a prescription for antibiotic at 05:45 am with instructions to start it that morning. I canned at 8 and it wasn't ready. Not a huge deal. Called at 12 pm and it still wasn't ready. I asked the gentleman how much longer and he said about 45 minutes. I called back at 05:30 pm and it still was not ready. Over 12 hours I have waited for an antibiotic prescription with zero explanation. They are so crucially understaffed, but it has reached a point of being unacceptable. Recently filled prescriptions prior to a surgery. I received a notification that there was an insurance issue with one of my prescriptions and it said to contact the pharmacy. I called the pharmacy and spoke with an extremely rude lady who spoke in a rushed tone as if she didn't have time for a phone call. She said the issue was that the dr called in an 8 day supply and the insurance pays for a 7 day supply. I asked her if I could pay for the 8th day. She spoke to me like I was stupid and said it didn't work that way. I had to either take 7 days with the insurance paying or I had to pay the entire 8 days myself. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This pharmacy & everyone who works there sucks at there job. My doc called in a prescription for me over there (because I've been using their pharmacy for years) & i went to pick it up AFTER I GOT A TEXT THAT IT WAS READY FOR PICK UP, & after waiting in line for 45 minutes i finally get helped just to be told that all of my information including my insurance info somehow vanished from their system. so i patiently gave them all my info again, the pharmacist then informed me that they need to get a confirmation from my insurance & that it would be a while so out of curiosity i asked how much it was without the insurance (it was birth control & i just had a baby so i'm not messing around lol), she then replied in a very rude voice "Oh honey it's a lot" as if she was assuming i can't afford it. so i just decided to let it roll off my back & thanked her anyway & left after being told that they would text me when it was ready.....even that had already happened ???? so i wait...& wait...& wait...... 4 weeks go by & i receive no text messages from them. so i call to check the status...... after dealing with their annoying (& in my opinion horrible) phone robot system, i am able to request to talk to a pharmacist, then after waiting for almost an hour, i finally get to talk to someone & i tell her what going on & then give her all my info..... & THEN GET HUNG UP ON! so i'm calling my doc & having them send it somewhere else, because the Weatherford Walgreens Pharmacy is full of rude & INCOMPETENT employees. read more

This specific Walgreens is usually always busy in the prescription area, so expect a wait whether in drive thru or inside. Not unless you want to be their right when it opens. The reason for the one star though is not because of the wait but because of the cashier, I came in to get two gift cards. There was one family in the line when I walked in so I expected to get out quick. I got my items and the lady would have been done but the cashier (Older blonde woman) looked at me and then looked at the family she was with and said "I know you said no but all I need is your ID and I can start your points." The woman started to sign up of course, since the woman had pressured her to do it. She then looked at me again and called for backup. Her backup helped the last person in-line, she didn't help in the order that we were in-line. Once I got up to the register I gave her my cards, she didn't say anything to me about the points, only thing that was mentioned is that I said I wanted $30 on each card and she started at me. I said can I get $30 and she said these cards are only $50. I said okay well just do $50 since there is a line. Before she scanned she looked me up and down and said "You know there not refundable" I said, "I don't care if they are, I just need to go." I put my number in since I'm a member. I didn't appreciate her looks at me, she stared at me as if my money wasn't good enough to be spent there. I understand if they have to ask if you want points but I expect them to ask everyone, and also be given a attitude when saying it isn't refundable. Once I was given my cards she looked up and smiled to the next guest to dismiss me. If you aren't going to treat everyone equal then she shouldn't be in the front area, I don't know if it was my race that made her not like me because I'm Hispanic, but I didn't appreciate it at all. So if your Hispanic or seem tan just know you may get looked at sideways and up and down. read more

Curbside Pick-Up: SUCKS!! Can this location get anything right??? I ordered online some retail items and got my notice it was ready and followed app instructions, checked in on way there and when I got there, clicked "I'm here" and waited over 20 minutes BEFORE I called, talked to a lady that said she had to finish checking me out and would be out "soon" WTH...I asked how much longer soon was because I have already been waiting for so long. UPDATE...got my items (12 packs of drinks) and she brings them out, and says she can't lift them so I have to go and load them into my car. I get some things but this place needs some serious overhaul or consider maybe another Walgreens for this area to help lighten the load of this one. I think they need some help big time. awful service Un organized. no one has answers or knows what's going on. my son needed prednisone for breathing difficulties it's been three hours since perscription was sent over had to have sent a second time due to them saying they didn't have it. they finally found both of them they had them the whole time. This place needs better trans staff when dealing with I'll children. This is a major safety concern. Every time?) or else you're told your wait is 5 minutes (which means, double that). The drive thru lines are torture. Soooo long. Seriously, can you guys not get sufficient staff? I dislike giving this business even one star. After 18 months of lousy service at their pharmacy, I have left Walgreens forever. Every time there was the slightest glitch in filling an Rx, the people who work there take zero responsibility for investigating, calling your insurance company or coordinating with your physician. The experience is like a casino, you ask your physician to call in your Rx and then it's just a game of chance. Of course human error causes inconveniences however, when these people encounter a problem, they blame the doctor then then blame the insurance company AND THEN they behave as if you never filled a Rx in your life! Here is my all time favorite question from a pharmacy tech "are you sure this is your doctor"? I procrastinated on ordering my Christmas card pictures. When placing my order, I noticed that the order wouldn't be ready until 5:45 pm, but I desperately needed them by 4 pm. I called the store before completing my order to see if they thought there'd be any way in the world they'd be done in time and not only were they done before 4 pm, she personally called me 45 minutes later to let me know they were ready for pick up! So you wait 30 minutes like they ask, wait in line another 20 or 30 miutes, get back up to the window and scripts still aren't ready so they leave you sitting at window for 10 minutes without even speaking to you. read more

I have been a Walgreens customer since they have been in Granbury. In the past four days I have had the WORST service every provided by a pharmacy. First our Avalon Clinic sent in a prescription at 7pm, when I called at 10pm it was still not ready. I waited for over 15 minutes to talk to pharmacy, they picked up the phone and hung up on me, I called back and waited over 5 minutes to talk to pharmacy, he said he was "sorry" he was the only one there and busy, at 10pm. My husband was at counter and saw him pick up and hang up phone, my husband was the ONLY customer in the whole store. My doctor sent in a prescription 2 days later on a rush, was told 30-45 minutes to be ready, when my husband went down there 2 hours later he had to wait on it to be "filled", I say filled because it came in a manufacturers bottle, all they did was print a label, for a rush prescription. I contacted corporate office, still have not heard from them. Today the manager called me today about the service and called me Rita, told her that was not my name, she said, oh must be your daughter, does she handle your prescriptions. I explained I don't have a daughter named Rita and that my daughter does not have anything to do with my prescriptions. For them to call to "apologize" and not even know the correct name was insulting to me. I have sent in 2 complaints to corporate and made 1 call to them. They do not know the meaning of customer service. I will not have them fill any more of my prescriptions and I will never go in their store again. I only selected one star because I didn't have the choice of selecting a negative star. If you use Walgreens I would consider the "customer service" they give to you and suggest you move to a different pharmacy. If it had been only one incident I would not have minded but 3 in 4 days is insane. I see other bad reviews on Yelp, so I know it's not just me that has received horrible service. I know losing only a couple of people won't hurt them but I told them in my last complaint that they could be rude and disrespectful and over charge other customers but I was done and would tell anyone I know that uses them to change to a better and more caring pharmacy. One that knows the meaning of customer service. It's sad that businesses no longer care about their customers. Let alone sick customers that need their prescriptions.
