Went in today, September 2025 found a few items. I wanted one item in particular has been in a booth very very long time so I asked the guy in the hallway if they could call the seller and ask them to lower the price and he came back and told me no they couldn't call the seller because The new protocol by management said they're not allowed to call anybody if the price is under $45 so let me get this straight you'd rather pass on a sale then make a money a dollars worth more today than it will be tomorrow and apparently the antique mall hasn't figured out. This is a large antique mall with lots of parking. It is set up in the traditional sense: spaces are rented by individuals, and payment for items are made up at a long counter at the front. Locked cases require going to the cashier counter and asking a staff member for assistance. While there is not an excess of staff during the week, the staff I have encountered have all been very friendly and positive. There is something for everyone, but if you are looking for a specific collectible, do your research before hand to confirm the item is priced right and you are getting a value for your money. The mall's dining room appears to be permanently closed, i think the mall is missing an opportunity and I suggest they re-open it, Fri-Mondays. I recently visited this location for the first time. I am an avid enthusiast of exploring shops of similar nature on my time off and love a good hunt! Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the obnoxious behavior of a female staff member who blatantly followed me throughout the store. While I initially assumed it was a coincidence-the first 2 times she ended up within 10 ft of me, after NINE more interceptions from this woman in singular hour I walked the store, it was more than clear that I was being closely monitored, completely unprovoked. This made me extremely uncomfortable and I decided to leave. While I couldn't give you reason for this behavior, I was profiled and stalked through the store without a doubt. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this store in the future, and sadly, I will not be able to recommend it to my fellow antique and thrift shopping groups and friends. Thankfully there are plenty of others in the FTW area that don't stalk you as you browse. I also had to go back to edit my initial review after receiving an utterly embarassing response from this "business" owner, which I have now included. And I am now positive whoever is replying to this review is the woman who stalked me through the store. It also confirms the profiling and stalking happens quite often to other people as well- not just to myself as, I do not have a husband. I did not speak to a single employee on site during my short visit, nor did I enter the store with anyone else when visited this establishment. How utterly embarassing that as a "business owner" this is how they're choosing to attempt to conduct business. They are ruining potential profits by profiling so many individuals that they can't even keep them all straight. I truly hope the poor family they are referring to here actually finds somewhere else to lease more worthy of their money. How does that old saying go? What goes around comes around. read more

my husband and I have ventured to the store for a day date to see what we could find, and I have to say I am utterly embarrassed at the behavior of the store, staff or owners whoever they may be. We were only in the store for about a half an hour and in that time we witnessed two store employees constantly following us with a 10 foot radius us as we shopped. I have no problem with people monitoring their store as closely as they do, though it was a bit uncomfortable and made me on edge to even pick anything up. I understand that everybody has to protect their stuff, however, the way that we were not approached, talk to or even welcomed into the store by proceeded being followed around for a half an hour straight to feel very uncomfortable. We will not be returning to the store anytime soon, and I hope everybody reads the review to make sure they're aware that they will be followed around and not able to enjoy a shopping experience. read more

One of the nicest malls in the DFW area. Everyone is friendly and the vendors are often adding new items. Every time I've been there, someone is pulled up to the curb unloading new treasures to come inside. They're open every day of the week, too! Truly a class act. read more

Terrible experience with one of their vendors Jenifer Hollingsworth. She posts her items on Facebook marketplace. She sold the same item to myself and another person at the exact same time. Really awkward to show up at the exact same time as the other buyer and get to argue over who gets it, while she goes silent on messenger and will only speak to the employees up front on the phone. She then would not make a decision on who gets the item and we are all left staring at each other. Drove an hour to get there and arranged a truck for pickup. Won't be coming back since these are the types of vendors they do business with. Huge disappointment and waste of time. read more

My husband and I always enjoy shopping at this store but after today, we will not be returning. We have shopped at this store monthly for 2 years now and love seeing the wide variety of selections the vendors have to offer. 20 minutes before close, they began turning all of the lights off. We continued shopping, planning to buy items and be out by closing time. It was now 10 minutes until closing and we were finishing up looking at a certain item to head out right at 6, which is when they closed, when a woman came up to us and said "The store closes in 8 minutes and the ladies that have been working today are ready to leave and go home. They are tired and ready to go home so if you could go ahead and leave the store, we would appreciate it". She continued to stand there and stare at us and made us feel very unwelcomed. She told us, not asked, for us to leave the store. As we left, our friend said "We appreciate it, have a good day" which she then changed her tone and said "What did you just say to me?". We have spent hundreds in this store, brought many friends and family members in to visit, and because of this woman, we will not be back. I have never felt like such a burden spending money in a store in my life. read more

The three D's - dark, dingey, dirty.. The store has poor lighting, the booths are dark with dark walls and dirty carpet. probably never painted since the store opened. booths are unappealing and dont even want to walk into them, over crowded. I think things have become antiques sitting there. There were several isles with empty booths which rented for $250 month. there is NO way this place generates that kind of foot traffic and sales that a vendor would get there money back. This is a very large Mall with a variety of items. Lots of MCM offerings! I found several hard to find Pyrex pieces for my collection! My sister spent time (and money) along one aisle filled with primitive and farmhouse pieces. They have a jewler there too. We will go back again! read more

I don't know what you did with your sweetie on Valentine's day, but as for me and mine, I took her to the Benbrook Antique Mall. It's a couple of miles south of I-20 on Hwy 377. Its a nice antique mall. Not much furniture. Mostly there a lot of bric-a-brac and other small items. Relatively low prices on most items like an upscale garage sale. We almost always find some bargains there. For Valentine's Day, their tea room featured a keyboardist playing piano tunes and a cellist adding a nice string accompaniment. Or does the piano accompany the cellist? Whichever. It was very pleasant to stroll around and listen to this music. They have very friendly counter folks, who wrap everything up for you. They also have a beat up TV lounge called the Possum Club, which had no cable and kept losing the signal. I think it was for the booth owners to congregate when they weren't working the mall. There were only about three vacant booths. Some big sales going on in several booths, which might precede them going out of business. The rest of the booths look like they're planning on sticking out this economic downturn. Seems like a bunch of antique malls have closed in the last year or so. Nowadays its nice to see any antique mall that can remain open in this economy. read more

I was just in here a week ago and almost ever spot was full with a truck in the drive unloading more! I haven't been in an antique mall for a few years and yep, it is pretty much like all the ones I have been in except this one does have a tea room. Nothing was going on in it the day I was there. The workers were all friendly and helpful (even calling another vendor for a price decrease - which by the way I got!) Don't hesitate to ask about the price being lowered. They were eager to work with me! They didn't have a lot of furniture but they did have a lot of stuff. Happy hunting! read more

Basically a clean indoor garage sale/flea market. Some of the vendors were delusional with their pricing, some very reasonable. Be warned, the elderly sales associates will follow you around like hawks who think you can't see them, making sure you don't steal. We are in our late twenties, and for some unknown reason we picked up two, and sometimes three, of them while doing the SECOND half of our shopping. Insulting. Left with almost nothing, as it really is all just junk. A few vendors did have some nice coins at fair prices, but a few are bat crap crazy on the prices they want. Take your elderly mother or grandmother when she comes in to town, but otherwise, skip. read more

On 15 March 2016, my wife and I decided to shop at this antique store. First off. The front of the store says that it's the Benbrook Antique Mall and Tearoom in great, big letters. We were looking forward to getting lunch and then antique shopping. From what we could tell the tearoom had been closed for some time. We had to leave and eat lunch somewhere else then return. I carry a shoulder bag that I have had for over 20 years. It is only just big enough to put and iPad or a standard spiral notebook. My wife had her purse also. She asked that I go to the car and get her other (very large) bag to get her medication and water. I left my bag in the car and returned with her other bag. My wife was keeling down going through her bag in search for her medication, while an employee or dealer walked by while stating "You're making us nervous coming and going with those bags". My wife, in an effort to be a good customer and keep the peace, returned her large bag to the car. I was shopping on one side of the store, and my wife was shopping on the other side. My wife was shadowed by the young man that made the comment about our bags and I was shadowed by a tall older gentleman. I was just short of having looked at half of the merchandise in the store when my wife walked up to me and told me that we both have to leave. She then gestured at the young man. I did have some cutting remarks about his being a coward and telling my wife that we have to leave when he didn't have the courage to confront me. I was a shame. My wife had selected about 3 pieces of jewelry that she wanted to purchase and they were waiting for her at the counter. Instead we went to Montgomery Street Antique Mall and spent about $1,000 on jewelry and a mahogany corner curio cabinet. You might want to think twice about shopping here if you are a middle-aged couple that has collectively served in the armed forces for almost 50 years. Oh and cover up those tattoos and shave that goatee. This means that you are a thief. read more

Lots of great finds. The only problem: the last two times I have been there, I've been followed around by their store detective watching my every move! I can't even relax and enjoy shopping because every time I turn around, there she is... the detective staring at me! I buy antique furniture, oil paintings, Dresden Porcelain, Hummels, Crystal, Jewelry, fine stuff and it's all lower priced than I can find anywhere else! I love the place! I was there last Sunday and picked out a few items that I collect and left them with the front desk to hold till I finished looking. When I finished I walked up to check out and there were two cashiers each checking out a customer each and I was next in line. Meanwhile another employee comes up to the cash wrap area with a customer, clearly says to the customer.. "oh there's a line". Then she walk around to back of the cash wrap with the items the other customer was buying and hands it to one of the other cashiers finishing up with a customer. Meanwhile, I am still waiting to be help. When the one cashier was done, she then did not ask me to step up, albeit I was next to be helped, she started ringing up the customer behind me stuff that the other employee had handed her. I was so mad, but I wanted my items I collected so I just kept my mouth shut waited to the other cashier finished selling the customer 3 stinking books which was taking her forever. I finally said you all just lost a sale and walked out. I had spent a whole 45 minutes in there and really wanted my items, but I am not giving anyone money who treats me like second class customer. read more
