My experience with Pam, owner of Bella Rosa. Has been 16 plus years. She has always been fair and very approachable. All these years. Everything I ever brought. Be it furniture. Jewelry. Fine handbags. Expensive never worn shoes. All been fairly priced and very fairly compensated as the Prior owner. To say otherwise. Would be Unfairly stated. In my opinion. I always enjoy going into Bella Rosa. The clothing is nicely organized and well presented. The furniture is nice but on first price is marked alomostnas much as retail. Most of the staff is very friendly (they do tend to get very wrapped up with regulars and ignore those of us who COULD become regulars). In the past their tags had the full price on one side and then dates and discounts on the back. Now you must get out the reading glasses to see the 8 point font of the discounts on the front bottom. It's also impossible to get a price of anything in the case. Prices are well hidden and when inconvenicing a clerk to open the case you may be treated as if "if you have to ask, you likely can't afford it". I do feel that they were friendlier before. I have shopped here about 10 years and will continue to on a monthly or less basis. However, if the store was more welcoming I would likely go more often and spend more with them. read more

At the recommendation of my moving company, I had several items dropped off for consignment at Bella Rosa. Huge mistake as the owner is rude, condescending and insulting to one's character. Things didn't start out well, but gave them the benefit of the doubt, considering I haven't consigned with them before. I was never given a list for pricing on my items, even after several attempts. They always had an excuse for not having my price sheet available. I dropped off a 1960's pink velvet mid century modern chair which was in pristine condition. Barb told me they couldn't sell it because the leg had slight damage ( it's from the 60's)! I asked her just to put it in the back and I would pick up the following week. When I go to pick up my chair...it was gone. They sold my $1200 chair for $170 without once ever contacting me for approval. They told the buyer to just make an offer!!!!! I was so upset!!! Their excuse for selling it so cheap was the chair was soiled. Yet, on their Facebook page you will find a picture of my chair, front and center, being displayed in store. My chair sat in my closet for 7 years without anyone ever sitting on it or anyone ever entering my closet, besides myself. Pam said I must have a very dirty house!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Also, they "lost" a brand new, still in the manufacture's packaging ,9x13, $1700 rug. I went to pick up my things on 5-21, as they seemed to be losing or just giving my things away for pennies. Pam, who claims to be a Christian woman, spoke to me in a manner in which no one has ever spoken to me before. I was sobbing and in tears. Even her employees were apologizing to me for her behavior. One of her employees was so kind and close to tears on my behalf. Also, I believe Pam takes full advantage of her position, purposely never sending a price sheet, conveniently losing consigned items,etc... Pam is cruel and blame shifting. She does not hold herself accountable in any way and very quick to attack your character. Save yourself insults and heartache...consign elsewhere. read more

Do not do business with this company, they are greedy and stole money from me. I had a contract with them that was for 50% of whatever the items I had were sold for. The items sold well and both parties were happy. For the last check, I called them and gave them an alternate address which they chose not to send it to. The original check got lost because of their error and they refused to issue a new one without ME paying the Stop Check fee. When I finally receieved my check, it was by Certified Mail (which was their choice, Pam made nasty comments about me moving around alot and insisted on Certified which she then made me pay for) for $47 less than it was supposed to, she took out the Stop Check Fees and the Certified Mail fees without my permission. DO NOT bring your stuff for consignment to this place of business. The first time we were completed ripped off a few years ago by receiving a very small check for the sales of most of my higher end clothing items that were sold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and choose to use them one last time with bringing more of my higher end clothes to sell for consignment sales. Well once again I was ripped off. I received a call that some of my items sold and that my check was a specific dollar amount for my proceeds. I told her that I would come up for my check and my items that did not sell. When I walked into the store for my check pickup the dollar amount was even lower than what I was told. I asked why my check was not the same amount I was quoted it was then explained that they charge $1 per item to pull YOUR own items to return back to you. She stated that it's in your contract you signed. What?!!! Who does this type of business?!! Total rip off and scam artist with a poor way to run a business. Her business with thrive as she continues to rip innocent people off for her financial gain. Please adhere to all the reviews Yelp/Google prior to doing business with this woman and I am not the only one as there are several terrible experiences. Take your business elsewhere!! read more

I have been to Bella Rosa many times and had great experiences. Yesterday I went and I was greeted by a very cheerful lady at the front desk. I was there to drop off things for consignment. She let me know there were 4 people ahead of me. I told her I would come back later. I went back in the afternoon. I went to the place I was directed and there was nobody there. I heard ladies talking in the back so I stuck my head in and said hello. a woman with blond hair and a white embellished top snapped at me. She said, "she will be there in a minute". Shortly after, the woman who accepts consignments came out. she told me there were 4 people ahead of me. I asked where they were because the ladies waiting in the morning were all seated waiting for their turn. She glared at me and showed me four piles of clothes and proceeded to point at people shopping in the store. At this point, it was clear she didn't want my business. Horrible place full of old used things way over priced. Used furniture in bad condition priced as if were new items. I have seen decor items actually glued back together but still for sale. The owner is not friendly and pretty rude. She didn't seem to want to be bothered to help a customer the last time I was in. Just told her "one of the girls up front could help". Just blew her off! The clothing is ok but mostly for elderly women and very outdated. It's priced higher for used clothing than new things would be at a Marshall's or Ross. Okay place to shop for used clothes but DO NOT bring your own things for consignment. I have done consignment at quite a few places but this one I thought was very dishonest. I brought in home furnishings and the owner wanted them for the store so she sold them to herself for $5 when they could have gotten $100 selling to someone else. If they wanted something for themselves they should let the owner know how much they are going to give it to them so we can decide. Also I went back to pick up the things that were unsold and they said after X amount of days it was their property and they could do what they want with it. This is my favorite consignment store. The clothes and home decor items are in great condition, there's good variety and the prices are reasonable. The items are displayed well and you can get great deals at the end of the season when some things go on sale for $2. I rarely come out without finding anything. read more

I went into Bella Rosa yesterday, and much to my surprise they also had some great furniture pieces! Well...it was great until I had some questions about the pieces, and then I was extremely dissappointed. They had just got a bedroom set in, and when I asked the woman helping me how much it was, she said very rudely, its not priced yet..and then walked away. I went to the back corner of the shop where she was working, as the other women working told me she is the one that prices things, and i very politely asked her a few questions on the pieces, including when she thought they would be priced. I was floored at how RUDE she was to me. I guess shes not in the business of being nice to customers, or selling furniture. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in a shop in my entire life....and Ive been in alot of shops. As a customer that's been shopping in there for YEARS, i will NEVER be back.
