Absolutely NO !!! Would give it a zero but that wasn't an option. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLEBURNE GOODWILL. Take the short drive & shop the *****BURLESON GOODWILL*****. A 5 star staff. Cleburne on-site manager is rude, hateful, and discriminates in enforcement of company policies. When items are pointed out to her that are in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, she verbally lies and says that she will have the tags description changed, and does not. This used to be my favorite store. It is obvious that the on-site manager has no idea how to build team spirit. Employees have left due to hostile work environment. You can also see that the remaining employees are working in a tense atmosphere. For a time period there were even signs, put on furniture for sell, not allowing you to sit down. For which I was reprimanded by manager. So anyone, including older and handicapped individual had nowhere to rest before continuing to shop. As a handicapped individual, I had to bring my walker in ( which I don't need as I can navigate with just a cane), so I had seating to rest while shopping. Awkward to navigate that with a shopping cart. Seriously, CORPORATE GOODWILL this is strike #2 in selecting managers for the Cleburne Goodwill. Also, and I have photos for documentation, despite numerous conversations with manager,multiple problems that customers encounter are not corrected. To test electrical items, the location of the outlets allowed are either nonfunctional or so low to the ground, that I have personally observed people sitting on floor to test things, and then needing assistance to get up. P.S. If corporate sees this,please remember how long it took you to realize about manager mistake #1...when you were warned at least 6 months before you finally took action. read more

This is my all time FAVORITE goodwill to pop into! they always have such fantastic deals and items that I can pile my cart full! plus the employees are super nice and helpful! I have been in 3 times and received help from the same employee every time without me even asking! read more

In spending the day in Cleburne, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to shop at a thrift store. Since I wasn't familiar with the area, I had a little difficulty finding it. (Even with the map app on the phone. Ha!) Once I found it and entered the store, I was overwhelmed by the amount of merchandise the store offered. It was A LOT! Thought everything could have been better organized, but maybe there is too much to handle with not enough staff. In fact, I only saw two people working. Who knows?! Anyway, I found a few items of interest but didn't want to pay the prices marked on the product. (Prices seemed a little high.) Nonetheless, I enjoyed my visit to this particular Goodwill location. I haven't been in cleburne goodwill in 2 years ,I was accused of flipping tags on a clock whose tag had fallen off its felt bottom,that I had taken out of production basket. At checkout ,I was yelled at 5 times by Ruth, the production Mgr, inferring I switched tags ,found tag in production basket stuck to the side ,hailey, store mgr,wouldn't come out of her office as usual,to settle this. I went back 2 days latter to talk to hailey about Ruth's horrible behavior, hailey called thepolice rather than talk to me .police said I was forever banned and they would arrest me if I came back !!! I use to spend 2 to 3 hundred a month replacing things I lost in hurricane and buy collectibles. This is a good store but the prices are getting bad for used goods. I have seen things in here that I see new that is cheaper. They price stuff like new things. I was in there one day ; saw a dish like I saw at Walmarts for like $5.00 and I can buy the same one at Walmarts for $3.00 NEW; HUM!! WHATS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE??? Do the prices go up since its old; maybe they are thinking antiques?? UGH! I think so. Thats why people go to goodwills to get a better bargain . Especially if you cant afford the new stuff. I have supported Goodwill with donations for many years, but never had valuable items scrutinized and rejected by the management before they were even unloaded like we did the other day. I thought Goodwill Industries operated to create jobs and new opportunities. Apparently, the outfit in Cleburne just considers itself a resale shop. I'll take donations elsewhere. read more

i can sum this goodwill up in one word : OVERPRICED. if i wanted to spend $5 on a shirt from wallmart i would go to wallmart and buy it new. if i wanted to spend $20 on a lamp with no shade i would go to target and buy it new. this place was a disappointment. read more

I frequent this store, like at least once a week, at the most 3-4 times. All of the workers are always very nice, helpful, and talkative. The store is typically neat and organized, definitely more than most goodwills I have been to (i've been to a lot). Most of the treasures I find that people ask me "where did you get that?!" is from this goodwill. Somewhat surprising, but you just have to go a lot and look through literally everything especially since this is a small goodwill. Sometimes it seems "picked through" but workers and volunteers and constantly putting out new items and I see/find new things even when I go in two days in a row, which is awesome. They're always having sales, they stamp punch cards, and they do the color of the week. What more could you ask for from such a quaint goodwill ESPECIALLY in CLEBURNE, Texas of all places. I am a seasoned goodwiller and I'd honestly prefer this goodwill over most, the one in burleson, even most of the ones in fort worth. I think people that have come into this store once and had a meh experience just once, didn't give it a second chance and gave it a crappy yelp review. It's goodwill. You have to give a goodwill at least 2 chances to decide if you like it or not, because every experience is going to be new and exciting! read more
