I love the owner of the store! I consider her a very good friend! I met her while shopping at her store and just fell in love with her. There are a wide array of different items. Being a single mom, I don't get to buy a lot of things and have to window shop, but I go here when I want to buy a thoughtful, unique gift. I just love how she displays her items. read more

From the Business

Specialties

An online shop brimming with vintage and antiques backed by several warehouses of extra inventory. Unique finds. If we don't have it, let us help you in your search. I have been collecting antiques and vintage finds for over 40 years. Selling vintage is my first love after retiring from being a school counselor. When a customer buys something they love, we are both happy. It's like finding adoptive parents for another generation's treasures. Lamps, furniture, linens, vinyls, jewelry, crochet, Pyrex, kitchenware, art and collectibles, and more.

History

Established in 2010.

Although I've been dealing in antiques since my college years in the 1960s, Vintage Love Antiques was started in 2010,thus making me the 3rd generation in my family to have a business on Main Street in Cleburne,Texas. Located in my dad's former auto parts building, I've packed it to the rafters with unique antiques, vintage treasures and just plain old junk. Come shop and visit often as I'm constantly adding more finds.

Meet the Business Owner: Gay L.

I've been collecting and selling antiques since my college days in the late 60s. Selling antique finds is like placing my favorite things in new homes that will love and cherish the history of days long past.

Absolutely NO !!! Would give it a zero but that wasn't an option…read more I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLEBURNE GOODWILL. Take the short drive & shop the *****BURLESON GOODWILL*****. A 5 star staff. Cleburne on-site manager is rude, hateful, and discriminates in enforcement of company policies. When items are pointed out to her that are in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, she verbally lies and says that she will have the tags description changed, and does not. This used to be my favorite store. It is obvious that the on-site manager has no idea how to build team spirit. Employees have left due to hostile work environment. You can also see that the remaining employees are working in a tense atmosphere. For a time period there were even signs, put on furniture for sell, not allowing you to sit down. For which I was reprimanded by manager. So anyone, including older and handicapped individual had nowhere to rest before continuing to shop. As a handicapped individual, I had to bring my walker in ( which I don't need as I can navigate with just a cane), so I had seating to rest while shopping. Awkward to navigate that with a shopping cart. Seriously, CORPORATE GOODWILL this is strike #2 in selecting managers for the Cleburne Goodwill. Also, and I have photos for documentation, despite numerous conversations with manager, multiple problems that customers encounter are not corrected. To test electrical items, the location of the outlets allowed are either nonfunctional or so low to the ground, that I have personally observed people sitting on floor to test things, and then needing assistance to get up. P.S. If corporate sees this, please remember how long it took you to realize about manager mistake #1...when you were warned at least 6 months before you finally took action.

Business is NOT CLOSED... Only the 500 -502 South Main Street location is closed. The owner (GAY MCCLURE LOVE) was in an accident, and is dealing with health issues. So temporarily, the business is in transition with occasional online sales from her personal collections. Follow VINTAGE LOVE ANTIQUES on Facebook for updates. read more

Many of the vendors could benefit from doing better research and pricing their items more accurately. Some tags had clearly been on items for so long that the ink on the price labels had faded. That said, for the most part, pricing was decent. The antique mall employees were easy to spot since they all carried walkie-talkies, and they were quick to help when needed. One thing I would suggest is to pay close attention when they take your items to the front counter. When I went to check out, one large item I had picked up was not listed, and I had to remind them about it. Most antique malls give you a number so your items are tracked properly at checkout, which would be a helpful improvement here. Overall, some improvements are needed, but it's still a good place to browse antiques and odditie

We found out the hard way that the roof leaks. It leaked on our items and when we brought it to there attention they claimed they fixed it but we might want to bring a bucket just in case. Once again no management concern. Issue three, parking is sub par to say the least. When we informed them we were out of there they tried to rent out the same leaking booth to someone else. Did not work as you can see water damage down the walls. We were scheduled to move out at the end of May. Our daughter passed away and we had to leave town. We called Judy and she said she was going to have another vender move out our stuff and charge us 250.00 for doing it. We'll they never moved our stuff , thank god but still charged us. Wow..
