Came in there this afternoon with the readiness to buy my first pair of trail running shoes. I walked in and wasn't greeted while employees talked amongst themselves, I waited 7 or 8 minutes with about being acknowledged. Great experience!!! The guy who helped us (I feel so bad, I cannot remember his name) was outstanding. We went in looking for a good pair of shoes to help with my son's shin splints. He's an athlete and currently runs track but has been experiencing some pain in his legs at practice and meets. The guy helping us checked out my son's feet and even observed how he walked to ensure he got the best pair of shoes that met his needs. A simple task turned disastrous with Manager and one employee. I have a couple of Brooks shoes I brought from Luke's. Have not worn them for a while because the toes in shoes developed holes. The soles were in excellent condition and had a lot more life. ALL I WANTED WAS ADVICE!! It was suggested by a runner to take them by Luke's ask if they knew where they could be fixed. My wife and I went to Lukes Clear Forks. She went in and was told "He should have brought a larger size" in a sarcastic manner/voice. My wife came out and was very upset. She couldn't believe the behavior They are the ones that fit the shoe and all we were asking if they knew where they could be fixed. Later I decided to take the shoes back and discuss it with the manager. He was sarcastic and abrupt. He wanted to keep the shoes which I let him. Various calls which we couldn't make contact "Phone Tag"-no one was it. I went back and got the shoes. The manager again seemed to intend on making me feel very unconformable and wanting to get out there without saying what was on my mind. Luke's use to be a great place to shop and buy athletic apparel. I don't know if there are anymore. A company has a life, and this one might be coming to an end. After waiting for assistance, I asked a worker for my size in them and then another guy he was working with asked him for the exact same shoe. The worker brought out two pairs, gave the one I had asked for to the other customer and a completely different color to me. He said I could order the color I preferred and receive them next week without as much as an apology. A complete slap in the face and terrible way to service your customers. On 3/25/25, I bought 3 pair of shoes , one of which had to be ordered from another store. I spent $395.. Initially, I received excellent customer service from Max and Henry. Max assured me the prepaid shoe order would arrive on 3/28/25, and it did. I received a phone call from Janet informing me the shoes were delivered. I told her I will pick them up Saturday since Friday traffic is crazy. She said she would have to send them back. i explained to her that I already paid for the shoes earlier in the week and they need to be held at the store. She said there is no record of me paying for the shoes and I would have to pay for them before pick up today. Again, I told her I already paid $395 for 3 pair of shoes. Janet's customer service is horrible and since I don't know if the shoes will actually be there, I've decided to return all of the shoes and spend my money at a business who values their customers. She treated me as if I was trying to steal the shoes. I have dignity, self-respect, and a receipt showing the shoes I paid for on 3:25/25. I bought 2 pair of shoes at this store in the recent past and received great customer service from the male staff. The customer service here is among the best I've ever experienced. The first time we went, my boyfriend was looking for a specific shoe and they didn't have his size, but the Dallas store did. They went above and beyond and called the Dallas store to get them over to Fort Worth so he could try on his size. They got them in two days and called us immediately. When we got there to try them on, Andy, the owner, and another woman greeted us with smiling faces and even remembered my boyfriends name and got the shoes out for him quickly. They answered all questions and were extremely knowledgeable on all of their shoes and helped him decide which ones to go with. I came here looking for a new pair of running shoes as I continue on my running adventures I'm the next coming months. I heard that the staff is very personable and friendly and really assist you in finding the right gear for you specifically for running. I came around closing time, but Andy (store associate) was kind enough to help me find s really good shoe specific to my needs and my running style. I tried on a couple different options and chose the best one for my feet with the help of Andy and am excited about trying out my new shoes. This shoe store has an arrangement of gear and shoes available for men, women and children and the staff assist you in finding the right shoe for you and even has treadmills for you to try out the shoe if you need to. Definitely a smaller shoe store compared to some of the bigger competitors, however, the service here is great and the associates are timely about assisting you and recommending shoes based on your needs. The best place for your feet! Emily was top notch! I used to love running, however I've not been able to for quite some time due to the extreme pain I would have in my arches. Emily was great! She helped me size up each of my feet and then explained to me what needed to be done with my feet. She assessed my gait and how I pronated my feet while walking. She opened my eyes to a different type of shoe that I hadn't been aware of and it has been great. I never felt rushed and she was also happy to help answer all of my questions. Great staff, awesome training programs during all times of the year from 5k to marathons, and a lovely inventory of running shoes and workout swag. They will often hold markdowns on clothing and that's when I love to come here and stock up. Everything is good quality material that you will have for a long time. Luke's Locker is awesome! Their niche: service! If you need a running or fitness shoe, Luke's is the place to go. I purchased a pair of running shoes and it was the first time I purchased a specific brand - after taking the shoes out for a spin, I found that the shoes were extremely small, even though I'd sized up half a size. Luke's took them back, had me try several sizes up and when the size I needed was not available, they ordered it from another Luke's location and had it transferred. I was able to pick up the new size in a few days. I love service like that! They also have great fitness clothes and gear. Luke's offers run training and they sponsor many running events. I worked with Justin to find a pair that fit my feet and were the appropriate size to deal with long distance foot swell. I have to say, I'm a bit shocked at the size I had to buy! I went into Luke's on a mission to buy some good pieces of clothing that would keep me warm and motivated to continue my training for the Cowtown half marathon. One of the sales reps, Kelly, was a joy to work with. She helped me pick out all sorts of base layers and light weight wind jackets as well as leggings and warm accessories. It also helped that we were the same build and could talk about sizes and brands that fit better for our body types. She was super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed when I was trying stuff on and was also mindful about how I was on a budget. They have a good sale going on right now and she managed to find me things that were all on sale (all sales are final, though! or exchangeable for a merchandise credit within 30 days). Needless to say, I ended up exceeding that budget and buying a ton of stuff (that I will use until it unravels and falls off my body) which I now see as an investment and motivation builder to keep up running in this cold weather! Thanks so much for all your help, Kelly! I learned a lot about the different types of light weight warm clothing to keep me dry and cozy during my long runs in the early morning and evenings! P.S. We have enjoyed Luke's locker as the best place to get fitted for athletic shoes in DFW. The staff spends time watching you walk/run and find s the best shoe for you. It is almost back to school, tax free weekend, and the boy needs some new shoes. So we braved the crowds and hit up Luke's on a Saturday afternoon. We only had to wait about 10 minutes. They put our son into about 4 different pairs of shoes over 10-15 minutes. They really encouraged him to pick his favorites based on feel and comfort not brand or style. They went through a pair each of Asics, Brooks, Mizuno and finally Nike. Then they watched him run in his favorite to make sure they worked for his slight pronation. In the end we walked out with a pair for $120 which was about $100 less than I had feared. So all this great service combined finally with more reasonable prices. Loving Luke's Locker! read more

Went in immediately following a Luke Locker sponsored race (which I didn't run in) and asked for someone to help me pick out running shoes because I had never had any and I wasn't even sure what I was doing could be called running. But the staff was SO nice, so helpful, didn't judge me at all! The man who ended up helping me was older and his son worked there, too! So sweet! I'm so happy to be a regular customer of Luke's Locker. Every time I go I feel welcomed and encouraged. I've got to give some props to Ricardo who helped me pick out my shoes about 2 weeks back. He recognized that my feet were pronating and recommended the PERFECT shoes for me. The reason I am so excited is I just finished a 10K and I'm in no pain. With my old shoes I could barely get through a 5k so now I'm very excited to get after it and keep training. I ran a race in Fort Worth and was supposed to pick up my trophy from Luke's the next morning. They had the wrong hours posted on their website so I got to the store an hour before they opened. I drove an hour to get there so I had to wait outside. Finally when someone showed up, he forgot his keys and I had to continue to wait outside for another 30 minutes. They did nothing to make up for the mistake. Very poor customer service in my opinion. read more

I had a fantastic experience at this Luke's. I'd never been into one, but I was looking for the new Vibram Five Finger Bilikas and Luke's is the only place in town that has them. I walked in and immediately notices how bright and pleasant the store looked. Shortly thereafter, the manager asked me if I needed any help. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me back to a salesperson in the appropriate area. Unfortunately they did not have my size, but apparently I had underestimated how popular the shoes were going to be. They said they sold out almost immediately in the normal sizes. Went into Luke's as a recommendation of my physical therapist. Don approached me within seconds of entering the store and proceeded to offer some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. He could tell just from watching me walk a bit what kind of shoe I needed and after trying on two pairs, I knew I had found the right one. The people that work here are very helpful! You need to come prepared for a wait, because each sales person spends time with you, trying on shoes, running on the treadmill, really finding the best shoe for you. There's a line sometimes, but that's okay. They have a ton of Nike women's gear- but it's ungodly expensive. They also seem to have a shortage of size large tops and bottoms- either that, or those are the first to go! I'll be back in March when the new Nike Frees come out :) read more

Was looking at the Garmin Vivoactive they were the same price everywhere so I decided I would get it at a local place. Went In here and the person working there helped me out giving me the pros and cons of it and helped a lot. Then he asked "are you a student?" I said yes and he said "students get a 10% discount" so I waited for my birthday then went in to buy and it was told the discount doesn't work on electronics. I was told that that employee must have been mistaken so I would have to pay full price. So I told them not too worry about it and left and bought it online. Overall the people are very helpful but everything is extremely over priced. So my advice was to go in and ask all the questions and try stuff on then go buy it online where it will be significantly cheaper. read more

Recently went to the Clear Fork store for new shoes and had a great buying experience. I had an issue with the shoes I bought, shoe issue not store issue. Took them back. New brand they didn't work either. 3rd time is a charm, 3rd hit the spot. Each visit back they were very patient and worked to focus on my issue. Went on Saturday to get final pair around 9am. Yelp reported they were open, but this location actually opens at 10am. The door was open so went in, they opened the store for me anyway regardless of the being closed at that time.
