Bought an iron from the Hulen location two weeks ago. Didn't get around to opening it until last…read morenight and found that it has been used and was burnt on the bottom. I lost my receipt somewhere during this tim frame. I attempted to do an exchange but because I didn't have my receipt I was out the money for the iron. Even though right next to the register they have a sign that states you exchange 3 items within 30 days without a receipt. They refused to honor this and stated they were waiting for a new sign with the "new policy". So I questioned as to why they still had the current sign up and were refusing to honor it. The manager said they "had" to have something posted so the current sign would stay up until the new one was posted. Thankfully I was only out $20 but needless to say I will not return to another AW Outlet if they can't honor what they have currently posted.

The merchandise is numbered then you find the number that corresponds with the price. The clothes rack were color coded. So each color represented a different price. I really love the concept of an indoor flea market however 90% of the items are not priced. Yes, it's a flea market so nothing is usually marked but these vendors hold their inventory here, they don't remove it every weekend so I don't understand why they can't price stuff. Half of the vendor owners weren't present so even if you wanted a price or wanted to buy something there is no one around to help. Like they had various $1 beef jerky packages that I was able to get my husband one in every flavor to try for what would have been the price of one bag elsewhere. They did only have one lane open, but honestly that is the norm for any dollar tree I've been too. I once found an 8-pack mini behavior/incentive chart here that I will be using. Stickers galore here too, as well as banners, bulletin board decorations, flashcards, etc. Yesterday I saw packs of papermate pens. Can't beat that! The greeting card selection is also very nice. They have added a designer card section, called Forget Me Not. Yep, time to head over to The Container Store to design the space. The designer showed us our options and designed it all out on the computer and gave up options. As the designer was finishing up the closet, we HAD to wander around the store, they've got such cool stuff especially all the little, small stuff up by check-out. We chose what we wanted, paid for it, and then set up an appointment for a pick-up of all the shelving a few days later. Of course, when we arrived, it was ready, and packaged up.
