My daughter ordered a simple 2 tiered cake 3 months in advance for her wedding. 2 days before the wedding they called and said they couldn't make the cake because they did not have the ingredients. Location has a leaking sprinkler system that is wasting water along Western Trade Drive. Unable to get through to a live person to stop the wasting of water on 100 degree days or any day for that matter. Ridiculous you cannot get a live person to answer the phone. The customer service at this location is incredibly disappointing. The staff, particularly the Customer Service Managers (CSMs), lack basic communication skills and show zero willingness to assist customers. It is frustrating to check out and bag your own groceries, only to be treated with disrespect by management when you need assistance. I live less than a mile away but would honestly prefer to drive an hour to a different store than be treated like an inconvenience here. Wish there was a zero star option for this store. Especially in the auto department. The service was appalling to say the least. Rude, slow, and unhelpful as could be. A lot of it seems like guess work. We were told it'd be about an hour wait. Ok, no biggie, we will just shop around grab a few things we might need and be back. We got the text that my car was ready and waited about another 45-50 minutes before it was even in the garage and then another 45ish minutes for one tire. I've been other places before and never had it taken THAT long. We also had 3 items and we were going to pay for them separate and were told that was fine but they never scanned our items. Worst experience with getting new glasses and lenses at this location which I used for the very first time. I am a 73 year old female. Upon use of my new glasses, the lenses fell out of the frames the first day I was wearing them. I have had glasses for over 60 years, so I know how to put lenses back into frames. These kept falling out, and there was even a space around the edges you could put a fingernail in it. The computer lenses I also ordered were totally unusable because I could not see the computer or close up work clearly. I called the store and asked to speak to the vision center manager. She got on the phone, but the entire time I was trying to explain my issues, she was talking to other people in the store. I asked her if she was going to listen to me now, or call me back later when she had time. She kept talking with other people, so I finally hung up. You would have thought she would call me back, but she never did. She had been given all of my personal information so she could have called me. I called several times more and left messages for the vision center manager. No return phone calls. I called the actual store manager several times, never available, but I was told that he or the lead assistant would call me back. No phone calls from either individual. Called Customer Relations. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back, and I was even given a Case Number. When I called back the final time and gave the rep my Case Number, she said there is no such thing. Finally, I called another vision center in Weatherford, and she told to just walk in and ask for a refund which I did. Two female employees were in the center. The first one began to help me with my refund, but she was apparently new because she had no idea how to do it. The other female employee began to assist her with it. During this time, a male customer stepped up to where we were all standing, and both of them didn't even acknowledge his presence. After about 10 minutes, he left making a huffing sound. I asked the employees why they didn't even acknowledge him. I said neither of you offered to help him or even ask him what he needed. The one female employee assisting the new female employee said she was "off the clock" and was just helping her out with my refund. I responded that the customer should have been greeted or at least informed him that they would be with him when finished with my transaction. It was taking forever for them to process my refund when Lara, the vision center employee who assisted me with my original purchase, took over the refund process. I explained to her my issues with the glasses, and she was very compassionate and understanding. She immediately and efficiently began working on my refund. She even went to the extra effort to try and find my old computer lenses in the donation boxes in the center. Sadly, my old lenses had been sent off so I was now without computer glasses. I did take time to explain to her about the efforts I made to contact the vision center manager and the store manager along with all the events that took place during those efforts. I also told her about the male customer concern I had with the two female employees helping me with my refund, and the one stating "she was off the clock". Well, guess what? That female employee was the vision center manager! How is she the manager with such poor customer relations' skills? Last of all, I want you to know that Lara is a blessing to have worked with her in that vision center. She was also "off the clock" when she stayed and unselfishly processed my refund and assisted with looking for my old lenses. I gave her a hug when I left the store! Never once did I raise my voice or act hateful towards any Walmart employee about my concerns. I worked on this issue for 29 days when I finally decided to just return the entire purchase before the 30 days deadline for a refund. I am also the caregiver for my 81 year old husband who has Parkinson's for the last 21 years, so it is not easy for me to leave the house. I tried to work with Walmart employees via phone so I could get a solution before I went to the store. No one at Walmart even cared enough to call me back at all! Walmart needs to take care of Lara, though, as she is the kind of employee that saves their reputation! read more

This Walmart would be a great place to film a commerical about why you should never shop here. #1 Garden center doors are always locked, as well as the doors to get to the outside section. Every single time I go there I have to find someone to unlock the door to where the mulch is. One time they forgot to turn out the outside sensor so I was locked outside in the cage area. I tried to call the store, but no one answers the phone. Ever. HUGE fire hazard. #2 They have a TON of self serve registers and at least 3/4s of them are never open. Lines for self serve? #3 They need to understand that my transaction ends at the register. One I pay for my goods, there will be no receipet checking at the door. #4 Rude employees. #5 They often selll products that are expired. I purcahse $100+ dollars worth of grass seed in the begining of October and spread it in my yard. It never grew, even being carefully tended to. I called Scott's (MFG of seed) and they asked me to check the date code. I went back to the store with the bag and the Customer Serivce Manager informed me there would be no refund since the grass seed wasn't in the bag. Well no shit sherlock, what was I supposed to do vacuum it up from my yard? Avoid this location at all cost. read more

Asst. Mgr: CHRIS I enter walmart with the sole intention of getting water balloons for my kids on a boring sunday. I went straight to toys and couldn't find them so I ask an employee, she says clearance cart near the front. Okay, so I made my way to the front and asked another employee who was on her phone texting or facebooking. She looked up and said the same thing, clearance cart near the front. I made my way to the front and asked what looked to be an assistant manager. This is the saga of Chris: Chris, the assistant manager (who on earth would give this man that position is beyond me) was plugging away at his touchscreen inventory device. I asked him where I could find waterballoons and without looking up he says 'near the self checkout'. He was 20 feet away and couldn't show me, let alone look up from what he was doing. I went to these clearance carts, couldn't find any. Went back to Chris and said, show me where they are. He then went to the carts and said they must be all sold out. I told him 'I've had three people point fingers who weren't doing anything important, not one of them could show me where they were (or werent)'. Did Chris apologize? Did he give me a recommendation to a store that might carry some? No and no. He said nothing and walked away. Walmart and Chris (about 6'2'' somewhat heavy with a beard in case there are more than one chris), you are the perfect example of poor customer service. I respect the fact that most of you work minimum wage, but I work as well, for an organization that's getting hit hard in this era. So while you are working hard, respect the other working men and women in society. I've never seen as many "workers" go above and beyond to not help a customer . This last hassle , I went to cash a handwritten personal check which I've done many times , at multiple Walmart's. I met all the criteria , but the uneducated grumpy attendant who , being miserable I guess wants others to be miserable, said that my check was a payroll check, yet, it was not. So, When her little buddy in the yellow vest said they didn't cash payroll checks, and I pulled up on my phone where it says that they take two party handwritten checks under $200, with valid ID, he said that because it was a business account writing the check, that made it a payroll check. Anyhow, I asked to spe as k to a supervisor , and he got all bent out of shape, and made sure to tell him before he even came over to me , so when this "manager" (and I use that term loosely, because nothing is managed at this store) came over, and I told him that I didn't understand why a check I've cashed numerous times before, at multiple Walmart's including this one , why I can't cash it now, when I meet all the criteria, and he said"Did that other guy say he wouldn't cash it?" And I said "yeah that why I wanted a second opinion ", and this Walmart Representative pretending to be management said, "well if my coworker said no I'm not going to override his decision ..." I said even though he's mistaken , your not going to honor what's written on your websites, or what's written on the wall behind you... " he said no. Moral of this story- These ppl go above and beyond to try and make others as miserable as they are. I'm 100% serious when I say they look for any reason to not be accommodating. I had all my Ts crossed and I's dotted, but because this guy was mad that the customer was correct and he was wrong, he just couldn't stand that, or that I tried to go over his head. Horrible customer service. I just made a call up there to ask a VERY simple question and was completely disrespected and yelled at by a really rude customer service agent. She should be fired for the way she treats people over the phone. That was so uncalled for and unacceptable. THE PHARMACY IS THE WORST! Do not use the pharmacy here! Extremely rude staff. Very unprofessional! We switched all our prescriptions to Walgreens. As far as the store in general...it's okay. The toy Dept is small and seems like they never get new stuff in. Mainly the Lego isle. We've started going to Target for my sons Lego sets. Way better selection and they'll price match just about any other stores price. read more

I have pretty good experiences at this Walmart for the most part. It's generally clean and I can easily find things. Customer service can definitely be improved. I had waited in line at customer service to do a receipt lookup and when it was finally my turn I explained and the lady kindly asked me to step over and the other associate could help because she did not know how to do it. So I followed and then again it was my turn. The lady who I was just with politely told her what I was needing help with but this other lady was rude and did not talk to me and instead told her co-worker that I would have to step to the side and wait because she had get the line down because other people were waiting. Ummm, so I guess me having to wait into two lines doesn't amount to anything? After several minutes she was able to complete what I needed and realized things had changed and it was easier to lookup my receipt and print off. I made mental note of her and her incompetency in customer service and respect. read more

I would probably still be there if another employee hadn't clocked in and taken care of me. On top of this, the vision center stank of stale booze. I live close to this Walmart so it's the main one I go to. I prefer it much more than the one on Lake Worth Blvd. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because they never have enough lanes open and I get off work at 11 so when I go in there are only 2 lanes open and the line is so long that you have to stand there for 15+ minutes. It would be nice if they could keep self checkout open until around 1am or so when it's not as busy. There are a lot of people there before midnight so they need to accommodate the customers. But other than that it is a nice, clean Walmart compared to others I've been at. read more

Always long lines, they have tones of cash registers but they are never open. I can't understand the expense of having them put in but never open. I've noticed a few reviews are by people who've only been here once... my family has shopped here about once every two weeks for the last three years. I usually come for specific items--which they usually have. I use the self checkout--which takes less than a minute. I have always found the staff courteous and helpful. The store is clean and the produce is better than most Walmart's. I'd recommend it. read more

We came here to buy a few things and we were in the craft section kneeling down picking out some things and this guy walked by twice, but we didn't think anything of it. He then stopped behind us and just watched us pick stuff out. When we asked if he needed anything he just walked away then came back into the aisle and just stood there. We got kind of creeped out and alerted a worker and HE LAUGHED. We brushed it off and went to a different aisle to pick up a few things and he followed us. AGAIN. We quickly went to talk to another employee and she already knew about the "creepy guy" but didn't do anything. We asked if we could get security and she just said yeah I'll see what I can do. We were so uncomfortable shopping so we decided to just go to a different store and he followed us Until we got to the register and then stopped and went back into the store. I'm very disappointed that the staff didn't do anything about it and just brushed this off, but this is really serious and no one is doing anything about it. read more

I've only been here once and that was to pick up an site to Store item. The worker who assisted me was polite (even greeted me with a smile!) and got my order to me quickly. Pretty much like any other super walmart, crowded and busy. Only complaint would be the packaging of the item as part of the box was torn and dirty. read more
