I came on 12/30/2024 around 4pm and the couple girls employees in front I spoke to was extremely RUDE. I asked for trash bin, they ignoring me, in excuse they bussy. After keep asking then one girl just point me to trash without even say word! not welcoming or smiling to customers, you feel uncomfortable, their supervioser said they don't need to smile to costomers, they laughing when heared that! they RUDE and unprossional ! I was helping my friend pick up some stuff for her restaurant and have been wanting to check this place out for some time. So the place is a wreck! I get that it's hard to stock bulk items on a daily, especially with so many people shopping with those weird, hard to steer carts, but dang, it's all a mess! The prices are very up and down. Certain shrimp was $3.91 per pound, while a pound of strawberries was $5.87 (no joke). Yea, seasonal items are cheaper but everywhere else you can get strawberries for $1.50 per pound so unsure of their system. The staff was very friendly which actually gave this place an extra star. I do like that they have jackets for you to wear before you step into their refrigerated section. And although most of the prices were posted, there were many items with no prices and really hard to find certain items. I'll stick to my local Costco. read more

This morning, I scanned the card at the entrance and walk into the freezing section. At the entrance, a man was cleaning with a broom. It looks like it will be over soon, so I wait in front with my cart for the cleaning to be finished. All of the sudden this guy was yelling at me saying "Get out there! I couldn't clean because of your cart." It was the entrance where you scan the card, and the other side was full of things, so it was difficult to drag the cart and go around back again. I can't understand why the cleaning guy gets angry. I didn't disturb the cleaning while I was moving, and I waited for the cleaning to be over. but the staff was angry with the customer, and... It totally ruined the day with what happened this morning. I don't understand that the worst managers and cleaners are working here (restaurant depot). The worst is both the staff and the manager who get mad at the customer waiting for the cleaning to finish and tell them to go back to the other side. read more

DONT GO HERE. We were just on our usual grocery run and decided to come here, when we stumbled upon this African American worker who not only 1) Not helpful, 2) rude, and 3) outright don't want to work there. We were standing in front of the freezer section waiting for 30 mins for someone to come help us. This African American douche of a employee showed up after 30 mins, yelled at us right away saying "Don't fucking move!" (probably because he knows he took forever and thinking we were just about to take off). We then asked for our stuff in the fridge, he barely checked and told us "there's nothing in stock and get lost". We followed up with another inquiry on another item, he proceeded to literally told us to check ourselves. -_- thanks? Quite frankly, if you are the owner or manager of this branch and you are reading this, this employee is literally driving ALL of your businesses away. So I've been shopping here for over a year and six months. I would think that after all of this time spent shopping there twice a week for over eighteen months, that this would be a credible review. The employees may be a product of their environment. I write this because, I have experienced very rude and hostile customers. In reflection of, the employees have always acted like I am the one in the way. Palettes are everywhere. Forklifts are running back and forth down aisles, beeping like to say. " get out of my way, I'm more important!". This suck because we customers are forced to use huge flat bed carts for shopping, and yet we are expected to play chicken the aisle way with the fork lift drivers. This is not a safe place for the elderly or children. They can get hurt. If you need something that is missing from the freezer side where the desserts are, good luck with any courtesies there. The long haired freezer guy acted as if I was putting him out to look for the product that was missing from his area. To take one last jab a poor service he never came back out to tell me anything about the product. I waited over 20 minutes for some reply. Only until I got fed up with waiting did I go back in the cooler to see what was the deal. Well, the DEAL was. He just re stocked the place where the product should have been and went beck to work. Never came to tell me that he had some or brought me any.... nothing. What a "who cares" kind of guy. When I check out the checkers make you feel like there is an inside joke and they are all laughing at you. With the exception of one elder checker that is overly chatty With the customers and a bit slow. I have noticed that the customers here act very hostile the majority of the customers are ethic. No prob, this is 2013, but when a specific group of people from across the big pond are purposely buying cheap crap and are every rude and grumpy, this make you think of your own quality of shopping. On a good note prices are comparable and you have the ability to save and compare. read more

Lots of supply. The store is kept clean And the staff is helpful, happy and friendly. When it comes to check out it is a hit or miss though. It has always been quick and thorough until the last time. They were unable to find the price for the item so just walked off not telling us they would be back and we stood there waiting for 15 minutes at the register while the other few employees goofed in the front. I have no real issue with RD I just do not like the concept. Food being bought at this location going into my local restaurant thats all good if we were in Alaska but this is TEXAS it gets hot here. I have watched many times restaurants putting raw meats eggs cheese etc...in the backs of cars, trucks and vans with no way to keep them cool. I refuse to eat at any restaurant that buys their products at RD. read more

Love this place. Free coffee in the morn. Just to ne clear. Only restaurant owners can allowed in. Must have a membership card. Not open to public. They sell almost everything u need at ur restaurant. Fresh produce to fresh meat. Frozen fries and stuff. Things from cleaning supplies to foam boxes. Always good for picking up last minute supplies that would cost u transit fee if u buy a few items from a wholesaler that delivers. read more

Great Help with our very first Fund Raiser for a local homeless shelter. They worked within our budget and were so helpful. Everyone there from the management to all the employees were so very nice. All the food we purchased was fresh, the store was very clean and neatly organized. Thanks to all we had a very successful event! We will use them again in 2012 for our next fund raiser. A manager at this store named Damian or Damon or something similar tried to cheat me on 2 separate occasions on a case of lemons. It was exactly the same scam both times. The lemons rang up much more expensive than the posted sign, and when I informed the manager, he tried to give me the brush off by saying that's what's in the computer. Did not even attempt to check the sign until the 3rd time I told him to. Proceeded to give me a credit card refund but only for part of the difference. For the remainder, asked if I wanted cash or credit card. My take on this? This manager and possibly other store personnel are in cahoots to rip off customers. If I didn't push, I think he was going to refund the difference in cash to himself after I left. Nice try buddy, but not good enough. Restaurant depot management, I hope you read these reviews... On a positive note, the staff on the floor were all extremely helpful in finding/getting things. read more

Great place to shop and they have everything you would ever need. Because it isn't open to the public but only for restaurant owners their product is strictly for the restaurant industry and not a lot of "fluff" that you can't use. read more
