I thought it was just me but my friend also felt terribly treated and simply settled on the yellow curry since we figured that there was no way they could mess that up. Big mistake, the pungent odor was overwhelming and the taste so strong we decided to stop after a few spoonfuls. It also looks like the meat is cooked in advance and the food is microwaved with the curry. Curry this most definitely is not. The one positive I give it was that there was nobody else there so at least the food came out fast, but I guess fast service is clearly not correlated with high quality.

But the amount of people in the store compared to the lanes resulted into a pretty long line. We stood in line for about 10 minutes and only ended up buying the noodles. Well, when we got to the register, we found out that you have to buy $10 worth of items to use your credit or debit card. Thankfully, I had a little bit of cash on me or we would have been standing in line for nothing. In the future, we will only stop by if we have cash and if we don't have anywhere to be, because we may have to stand in line for a while.

They may not have a huge variety of fresh vegetables and produce yet, but they do carry a good selection of Nepali dry foods, snacks, and essentials. They also offer fresh meat, which is a nice plus. In the back, they have a small restaurant area with a few seating options. I usually order takeout from there, mostly their momo. I will say the momo can be a little hit or miss depending on the day. About 80% of the time, though, they get it right and it's really satisfying. The achar/chutney that comes with it is also a bit inconsistent, but when it's good, it's really good. Overall, I'm happy to see more Nepali businesses opening in the area and look forward to seeing them continue to grow.

Today they also have a nursery area for plants, herbs & tree's. This is a throwback experience to when produce stands and markets were plenty. A true outdoor roadside market, the folks that work here a helpful and friendly, the last of it's kind around these parts and it beats the prices, freshness, selection of those inside farmers markets.
