Looking for good walking shoes for her today wasn't to be completed here, they had a few, most were basically costume jewelry quality it seemed. The name brands that they had, they did not have in her size. Now, I can't fault them for that, this isn't the type of store that keeps constant stock of any one item, what's on the shelves is pretty much what they get in the shipping boxes. My rating is based on our overall experience and not with the lack of sizes.

During the transaction the supervisor behind the counter repeatedly interrupted her to push a credit card on me and all guests at other registers. I had a card but it was expired. When I said I didn't want one she replied LOuDLY from 2 PoS terminals away, "why not? You don't like saving money?" Which was meant to be funny but was actually off putting. The cashier helping me was new and needed assistance and called for that supervisor to help. The supervisor brought over another trainee to watch her help my cashier. She made comments about both of them needing to learn. The supervisor then took great pride in loudly stating "yeah they all get nervous when I come around and they make mistakes". She repeated this more than once. She frequently called the cashier helping me "girl" & said "calm Down girl" despite the woman clearly being an adult. She then relayed the comment about her making them nervous like it was a badge of honor. I finally interjected and told the supervisor that it was possible they were nervous because she was condescending and referee to grown women as "girl". She laughed and continued on making the cashier and the trainee visibly uncomfortable. To that supervisor: from my experience as a multi business leader, if your presence intimidates your team, causing them to become visibly nervous the problem is YOU not the employee. To the cashier, you deserve to be treated with dignity & respect. I will never shop at or recommend this location.

At least at this location, there aren't a million things cluttering the aisles so badly that you can't even walk through. The staff on the floor is always busy merchandising, but they will stop to help if you ask. The lines can get crazy, but they call in all the cashiers and usually get through the rush in a reasonable amount of time (not during the holidays, when it's naturally a little busier). The cashiers are friendly and efficient and this is one of my favorite place to shop for home decor and other things that I don't need. ;)

Seems with the amount of Saturday business and even the registers being backed up to the furniture section, you can get the stock bins out of the way and to the back staging area. You don't really need a coat in Texas anyway so it's a good thing Burlington has almost everything else you need for your closet or home. This location recently had it's grand opening in Glade Parks. It's clean and organized and the associates are friendly. I don't particularly like discount stores with a bunch of clothes mixed up together but I found some really fantastic deals here! Burlington had a brand of jeans I had been buying at a boutique store and although they were only about $20 cheaper and in one color it was still much more convenient to come to Burlington than go to the boutique. Besides a bunch of clothes for males and females of all ages, Burlington also has a large section of accessories and beauty products, a baby furniture section, and a large housewares and decor area. There's an aisle for pet items like dog/cat beds and oh so cute dog outfits! I found dog Halloween outfits and winter sweaters for my fluffies here and they were only $7 per outfit. I can see myself stopping in here often because it's very conveniently located. This was a good spot to open a new store.
