Well, my husband has been wanting Hey Dudes since before Christmas. We have had them in our Amazon shopping cart because they've been on sale. However, he wasn't sure about the fit since we've been told the sizing might be on the bigger size with the canvas material having a little give. We walked inside Famous to try a pair on with all intentions of ordering from Amazon since the price was almost half less. I decided to go ahead and just ask if they price match and they do! Just NOT with Amazon because it's an online-only store, but we did find a brick-and-mortar store (Hibbetts) who had a comparable price. Woohoo! I also was planning on buying a pair of shoes but I wanted Sketchers. The selection of colors wasn't great so I walked down to the Sketchers outlet store, found a beautiful bright pink color. But they hurt my feet so badly! I was so disappointed and ready to give up, but my husband needed to go back inside Famous to ask the associate a question. When we did, I told her I was ready to give up on having a nice pair of shoes. She asked why I didn't want a pair of Hey Dudes as well to match my man, and I said that I actually didn't think about it. I ended up trying on a pair for giggles and OMG, they are so comfortable!! I now see the hype, my feet felt so much relief wearing them and yes, I bought a pair too. Now my kiddo wants a matching pair haha! Anyway, great experience.

All I wanted to do was exchange them for a different size. Upon entering, I explained that I received the outfit as a gift and that I needed a different size. I also let them know that I didn't have a receipt. I can honestly say that I had a flashback to the movie Pretty Women when Vivian walked into the store and was treated like a second class citizen. The employee was looking at me like I had stolen the items. I again told her about how I received them from a giveaway, and she told me that without a receipt or an email of the person, she could not help me. I didn't ask for a refund- I asked for an exchange. They would not haven been out of any money! Perhaps I don't fit the Southlake mold but I also don't look like a thief, yet she was treating me like I stole the items. The customer service was appalling and I will not ever spend money on this brand.

This was a major success story and has made us a customer again!! ---- Updating - Customer service has reached out to me and is trying to help us with this transaction. I think we'll head to the store where they were bought though and ask them to help us This store is an utter joke! My husband was given a pair of Vans for Christmas and they didn't fit. He took them to the store in the box with tags in less than 2 less weeks after Christmas. We went in to get a new size and they immediately wanted to know if we had the receipt which unfortunately we didn't. They said they couldn't exchange them or give him any credit. He called his norther and she couldn't find the receipt so they were not able to do anything. The front desk person kept calling Cody, the manager to the front. Finally he came out. He was eating cookies the entire time talking to us and offered no understanding but wanted to argue with me that their store has one of the most lenient policies. Which I mentioned Nordstrom's he wanted to tell me Nordstrom's marks their products up. I felt the need to explain to him and show him how Nordstrom's actually price matches if they know it's cheaper somewhere else online or you can call them and have them look up a website to price match.
